This cracker barrel has steadily gone down hill over the past few years. Since Covid, we normally order via the website and pick up the food. We have learned to not try curbside because the food is rarely ready on time. I actually waited a full hour after my pick up time for our order and had to go into the store to eventually pick it up ( with not so much as an apology from anyone). Most recently, we have become accustomed to expecting the service to be poor, the food to be late in preparation and usually the order to be incomplete in some way. I personally don't care for this particular store, but I do order from the because my wife likes their chicken tenders. FOR GODS SAKES!!!! In short- I do like a good cracker barrel..... unfortunately, this is not a good cracker barrel. read more

I was pretty happy with this Cracker Barrel. We had good service and the food came out hot and tasted great. We got exactly what we expect from Cracker Barrel and maybe a tad more. I'm not a fan of the new logo and decor plans, but at the end of the day if you give me good service and great food I'm still coming by. I love the place, it's clean, welcoming, and very family-friendly, making it perfect for a weekend visit. Service was good. My friend really enjoyed his French toast, and I had the fried catfish, which came in a generous portion (though I wish it had a bit more seasoning). So the food was fine but it was the service that did it for me. Me and my husband just moved to the area and after spending all day painting our new home, we decided to eat here. We get seated and then we wait. Then we wait some more. Finally after waiting 15 mins, our server comes over and says "I'll be right with you." Then proceeded to leave us waiting another 10 mins. She came back finally and took our drink orders and food order because we were ready. (Of course we were ready by then.) so we're sitting there waiting on our drinks and after 20 mins of seeing her come out and deal with other people and not bringing our drinks, my husband was starting to get fed up and I can't blame him. Well, she finally brought our drinks out right as we was about to leave cause we'd been sitting there forever just waiting on some drinks. The sweet tea was AWFUL. I was scared to ask for a different drink cause it took her 20 mins to even get our drinks. So I waited til we got our food. Her excuse was "it's busy" but it wasn't. The place was actually kind of dead. She was moving like a snail and would disappear to the back and we wouldn't see her for a while. So I don't think I will come back. The food was okay but the service was AWFUL. We spent more time sitting there waiting on our waitress to acknowledge us and then waiting on our drinks than we did actually eating. read more

Terrible service. 40 minutes we waited for breakfast (at 11:00am, not crowded and people seated after us were getting meals) and when it did arrive, only one meal came. The server asked what else we got, couldn't remember the other order. Pancakes that did arrive were brown on one side and raw on the other. Asked for a manager and she apologized, that was it. First of all there were about 25 people in the entire restaurant and about 10 waiters! We waited 50 minutes. The biscuits are usually super good! They were unbelievably burnt. The waiter was super kind though. I wish I could give this place less than 1 star but whatever. read more

Stopped in here today for lunch. I got their classic sampler that comes with two or three entrées and two sides for around $14. The food was spectacular. It's definitely a good value for the money. The service was awesome. My server Yvonna was a true joy to have serving. She was very knowledgeable very courteous. Kept me well taken care of with drinks since whatever. I needed from my to go box to a bag or whatever. Extremely happy with her service. Highly recommend her if you go here. Play. If you're looking for good food I had a good price with wonderful servers than this particular. Cracker Barrel location would be right up your alley. Didn't get the food until 10:02, after being there 35 mins they informed us that some of our sides were not available, after they served them to the table next to us. So it took 30-35 minutes to be seated but we were prepared for the wait, so not a big deal. We were ready to order our food when the waitress came to take our drink orders because we were fearful of a long wait. After an hour of waiting for breakfast food I asked the waitress what kind of time we were still looking at and she told me we were still four spots back on having our order made. This was clearly unacceptable and tables around us that were seated after us were getting their food. When our food finally arrived I began eating and chewed into a piece of plastic, from where a bag was cut and a corner of the bag ended up in my food. A waitress, not ours, came out and apologized and said we wouldn't get a bill for our food. Then a manager came out with a bill and said she took $18 off of our total (I have no idea where $18 came from, just a random number I suppose). Again this was unacceptable and after some conversation the manager decided to comp our bill. After being seated within the suggested time nothing was right with this experience. Went to Cracker Barrel on a Friday evening at 5. We've been many times before and usually receive good service. This go round was the worst service ever. My husband ordered a new menu item that looks tasty. What he received was far from tasty. Didn't even look like what was ordered. We grabbed a menu and called the waitress over and she just laughed. No apologies. Her excuse was well it's a new menu item. Yes it is. But in the menu picture, I don't think they slapped on American cheese slices and whole bacon? We commented that it was not drizzled with the buttermilk ranch or sprinkled with the crunchy onions. She just laughed some more and said well we are out. Other poor service experiences this night. 45 min wait before she even offered us biscuits and cornbread. They were out of saucers so she brought us small bowls? My husbands plate didn't come with his pinto beans and a side a onions. My plate didn't come with my loaded potato or sauces for my seafood. We made mention and both were brought out minus his side of onions. Why are we ordering specific items and our waitress is writing it down for this to happen? Did they read her order? When she brought us drink refills, they were out of pitchers so she used a carry out cup? Cracker Barrel, what is going on? I am so sad because I enjoyed your hometown goodness. My wife and I both had meat loaf, and we normally like Cracker Barrel meat loaf, but this was just not good and did not look like the meat loaf we've had at other CB's. The greens and pinto beans were dried out. I wish I had checked with Yelp before eating at this CB, but we were on the road and CB is normally a safe bet. Today I ordered online and went to pick it up, the food was not good. Whenever I order and pick up it's not good, but if you sit down and eat inside it's good.. My bacon was so greasy and not much meat on it, mostly fat, scrambled eggs were flat and not fluffy, my hashbrowns were greasy and the meal was all cold. The biscuits were alright but they are usually big and fluffy but not today, again every order I make to pick up it's cold and not good..the last time I ordered like this was 1 year ago and I thought I would try it again..the same as before..I won't order on line again. read more

Cracker Barrel Lagrange carry out service was terrible. My order was supposed to be ready at 5:10 I sent the "I am here" message.. No response. At 5:25 I started calling hoping that they were just busy. No one answered. I finally went in and the host searched the kitchen and came back out only to find my meal just sitting on a shelf behind the cashiers. By far the WORST Cracker Barrel I have ever experienced!!! Waitress couldn't keep any orders straight for any of the tables around us. Took 45 min to get food then it came out burnt, cold, and incorrect. I have never seen someone burn French toast. It's by far one of the easiest foods to make. We try to stay away from chain restaurants and eat at local places but, CB has become our favorite place to eat. No matter where we visit when we go to a CB for a meal we usually can expect to get the same consistent excellent high quality food.This location is no exception. Today had to be a Mamma's breakfast. After moving to Lagrange at the only sit-down family restaurant in Lagrange, KY is the Cracker Barrel. We have gone their about 10 times in 4years. So few because each and every time they mess up; for example; after waiting for as much as 45 min some time we would get a cold meal ,or we are told after a half hour the chicken is still frozen and we half to order something else. Each and every time we go there we swear we will never go again, but his time we mean it. They need to have a better management. Not all are this bad but this one is. Didn't have this problem in Evansville, IN. Went there almost every month. read more

I don't think I'll ever get tired of Cracker Barrel. Their variety on their menu is never ending. I'm a big fan of their dumplings, Hashbrown casserole, and cheesecake. we aerived at 730 pm . we were seated and greeted in a fairly pleasant manir the host was great! our waiter was Connor who was awesome all the way till the end. we ordered our food which consisted of The Side plate choice of 4 sides . we chose 2 dumplings .greens .and pinto beans. the food arrived in a normal ammoint of time. whwn it arrived they had messed uo by givin us two of everything.... no biggie we told the waiter and she said sont worry just keep it ... ok great when she went to set the beans down SHE the waitress said oh no theres no beans in the liquidans there wasnt. she took them to get them replaced ... in the meantime, we stared to nibble on out other sides ... the dumolings were luke warm at best .... and the greens were cold as if theyd been sitting in a cool area. ...The beans arrived back and they were again barely warm .... we then shiwed her the other food and told ber we didnt want anything sles for the fact i assume it woulda been cold as well . anyway aorely sorely disappointed at the lack of attention jn the kitchen your fiod is who you guys are and honestly its not the first time our meal has been bad at this location... i dint think we will be back . which is so infortunate cause we love the food ... when done right read more

We did an online order and it was wrong again! Once they got home with the order and we were passing out the food we were short 1 Mac and cheese, 2 Dumplings and no biscuits. I called and the restaurant and was disconnected after someone picked up. Called back was on hold for a manager and no one ever picked up! I am going to dovetail off other reviews of Cracker Barrel, it's not my favorite place to eat but I do enjoy eating here because it is consistent. I always know what I am going to eat and how it is going to be. When you're traveling it really is a comfort to know what's up when you arrive. So, why not four or five stars? It's just like every other Cracker Barrel EXCEPT the fact each of the last four times I've been there the manager has been berating someone OR talking about company related business where I can here them. Not cool, dude. Everyone deserves feedback from their boss in a way that can help them be better at their job but not in front of co-workers and certainly not in front of clients. Yes, Emily, I communicated that to the appropriate human the last three times. Haven't been here since the Thanksgiving trip when they messed up our carry dinner order, figured I try it again. Came in, was greeted by the hostess, told her I wanted to place a carry out order. Waited 12 minutes for someone to come and take my order, no one ever showed up, this was after the hostess called back twice. For a server, keep on Monday this is early on Mother's day, the restaurant was nowhere near full. Oh, I know I can call ahead, the only issue with that is you wait the same amount of time for your food even if you call it in, it's like they don't start cooking until you walk on and say your here. Extremely slow service, server could not remember to bring us things we asked for, which were not unreasonable. For example she spilled a water when she brought us drinks and it took a very long time to get it replaced along with a black coffee. We waited SO LONG for our food and no surprise, it came out cold. This is by far the worst Cracker Barrel I've ever been to. We were a table of 4 and had easy orders. We were there almost two hours between the 15 min wait and the time we walked out.. insane.
