Super cool spot! Love the use of the space! Love how simple the menu is! Love how you can get Booz and coffee all at the same location. Many places, you don't have a bartender and a barista 50 feet away. At the same time, you can all meet up and chill in the same common area. Great spot in the heart of the village. Nice outdoor bar seating and a few larger tables. The drink menu is not as extensive and the cocktails are slightly overpriced, would love to see more wine and beer options to choose from. They do have some food on the menu, mostly quick bites which is perfect for an outside bar. Kid and dog friendly with a great atmosphere. Their staff is hit or miss but generally very friendly. I have been so excited for this to open, and a few girlfriends and I went to check it out last weekend. I was beyond surprised to find that they don't have a single vegetarian option. Every single sandwich (even the avocado toast) has either bacon or sausage on it. I asked our server if there were any options for someone who doesn't eat meat and her only suggestion was that they could take the meat off, but still charge me full price for the sandwich. Needless to say I was very disappointed! As this is a new establishment I am hoping they will add on something like an egg/spinach and cheese sandwich or really any option to satisfy those with a vegetarian diet. The most honest review here, this place is a bar. The ambiance is amazing and is a great place to hang out with friends. I would not expect the best service as if you were in fine dining restaurant because that's not what it is, also the girls who work there are very busy, because the place is packed all the time. Love this place in Carlsbad in the village. As we have moved up to north county, it reminded my husband and I of a smaller version of quartyard in downtown SD. It's and outdoor bar with an outdoor seating area. Not super huge but they have benches and tables to sit. Gotta move fast if you want a place to sit! Dog friendly was a plus and they had decent music going. They had cornhole if people wanted to play and bathrooms in the back. They primarily serve breakfast but on a Sunday afternoon they had a taco stand set up (which was SUPER bomb and wish I got a card). Lots of people there for $16 bottomless mimosas. Really good concept. They are lucky the food is good or else I wouldn't come back for these reasons. The girls working here seem clueless as to what's going on. The way it's operating just doesn't run smoothly at all. The creamer is right by the register which leaves no room. You can't hear them calling your name when it's a busy weekend. They got both orders wrong. Also they seem to be very frazzled when it's busy which it's busy on a weekend. One girl at the register and trying to do everything isn't enough. For someone who has started up multiple locations and other businesses you would think it would be running a lot smoother. But with that being said the food is really good! read more

It's also hard to make a breakfast sandwich that is MUCH better than the usual, but that's what these guys did. I was super excited to try this place, but unfortunately I had the worst experience and will not be back. My boyfriend and I were excited to get out of the house due to being quarantined and I always told him how I wanted to try Crackheads because of how cute it looked. We ended up there and it looked like there was a hostess but we weren't sure so we waited for 10 minutes while she was flirting with some guy, so we walked up to the bar and the blonde girl gave us the worst attitude, yelling at us to go back and wait to be seated and literally shooed me away. My boyfriend was super upset and wanted to leave but I still wanted to give it a try. Are waitress was nice but she disappeared for 45 minutes and when we got our food, it was cold. I am super bummed with our experience and I hope this place gets there stuff together because they are going to lose a lot of business. A manager needs to teach their employees how to be nice and be respectful or fire that bartender because from the looks of it, she has done this more than once from other reviews. After choosing to come to this establishment after an afternoon on the water we walk in and request a coke from the bar we are told to sit down we have a server to serve us. We are then told by server that we can't order a drink until we drink water and have food. This was before we even had a chance to order food. It is so inconsiderate and disrespectful to be treated like you're less than based on your color. We will never return. read more
