I ended up dipping my burger in ketchup. My friend ordered the Cali burger and it looked massive. She said hers was good. I'll have to try that next time. Tater tots were good. I had been looking for a phenomenal burger place since Covid killed my old favorite and this is it! We had the picante burger and the garlic burger and they did not disappoint. They went above and beyond my expectations. The Tator tots are also excellent and the beer is outstanding. The service is also amazing. Google said they open at 9:30 on the weekends but it's only for to-go and dine-in doesn't open until 11am but when we showed up before 11am they were very friendly and took care of us right away which was very nice of them to do. There are a lot of seats inside and outside but we opted to stay inside during this heat wave. Great air conditioning and lots of tvs to watch sports or whatever. Seems like a fun and inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be back to try more on the menu. They offer quite a lot. My 5 year old ate the burger and didn't even touch the fries. She always goes for fries but to me this shows how great the burgers are. read more

Excellent food, the pizza fries w/ ranch were beyond delicious and my have it your way burger was perfection. Very simple way I had my burger done. Probably the American burger on most menus. I had it w/ brioche bun, Angus beef, cheddar cheese, craft burger spread, lettuce, tomato grilled onions & house pickles amazing. Good selection of beers on tap. I had the Ogopogo and Claremont IPAs both awesome. Great atmosphere and service. The bartender knew his menu and was on top of things. Overall Motu rating 10 out of 10. Food was damn delicious. We came in on a Friday night and it was pretty busy, we were told there'd be a wait. When we asked to sit at the bar, they cleared a space for us right away. We were curious about the lollipoped wings and they were pretty tasty, but my favorite part was how neat and easy they were to eat. Highly recommend the chicken potstickers- they were my fave, hands down. They were cooked perfectly, not too soggy nor overcooked and the flavor was a solid 10. The craft house fries would probably be my second fave- the bacon on the fries was cooked to perfection and the sauces and seasoning were on point. The House Beer Battered Onion Rings were absolutely delicious- also cooked to perfection and great flavor, just wish they weren't so greasy. One of the things that really stood out was the customer service of all the staff, especially the owner. He was behind the bar, hustling with everyone else, putting away dishes, etc. One of the gals had slipped, and dropped some lemons on the floor and after he made sure she was ok, he picked up the lemons for her. They have a build your own burger on the menu, where you can customize it the way you want it for a reasonable price. The service was good and the ambience is OK. I was really craving a burger and beer this Saturday, and also curious to see what had replace Meat Up. Upon arrival it was extremely packed so I was really hopeful. This place has converted to more like full service instead of self ordering, but I didn't feel like it was really full service. Maybe it is just the layout that created that environment. I tried their Mac and cheese burger and poutine, and they sell local craft beers. I have to say it's was a bit disappointing. The beer selection was pretty average and their Mac and cheese was not that thick creamy homemade style that I was hoping for. The burger was also too dry and bready... and the flavor was pretty un-gastro burger like and more like a slightly fast food gourmet burger. Also their tots were fine but their fries tasted very inedibly stale. I want to support the local restaurants but it's difficult to when nothing stood out. I would have preferred Meat Up by a mile, so I came away pretty disappointed especially for the price paid (over $63+ for one burger, poutine, 2 beers). read more

The make your own burger menu is pretty neat and i got myself an Angus burger patty, brioche bun, garlic aioli, red pepper sauce, grilled mushrooms, garlic cheese, and typical veggies. Also tried the craft house fries. Unfortunately, none of it was very good. Patty was definitely overcooked, not much flavor to it. The grilled mushrooms definitely looked like just plain sliced mushrooms. What had the most flavor was the grilled onions and garlic cheese. The fries weren't crispy enough and were not amazing. Almost have a feeling that these were all frozen ingredients and not fresh. I could be wrong. Would be better of at Habit Burger in all honesty. I love burgers, but I'm picky about them. If it's so tall that I can barely eat it, why bother? Therefore, burger joints can be a hit or miss for me. This place surprised me! Went around 5pm on a weekday and it was pretty crowded! My husband and I were seated quickly and our server was friendly and attentive. We both ended up ordering Regular Cheeseburgers, we went safe since their other burgers seemed loaded with toppings. They were pretty delicious and as I watched other orders come out of the kitchen, all burgers seemed to be decent-sized handhelds, so I'll definitely order something else next time. Our server recommended the Onion Rings that come drizzled with ranch, teriyaki and sriracha aioli. Also really good - but they came WAY before our burgers did which was a bummer.
