​I've been meaning to try this place for a while after hearing great things about their burgers. Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the cheeseburger combo for $12--definitely a solid value! ​The burger itself was decent; it could've used a bit more flavor, but it was still good overall. Turns out the restaurant has changed hands three times over the years, which might explain the shift, but they have a huge menu offering everything from breakfast and omelets to American and Mexican staples. ​The inside is super clean and comfortable. It was pretty slow for a Thursday night. Parking in their private lot was convenient. They even have an outdoor area, in addition to their indoor area, to dine in. The lady at the register was very friendly & helpful, even making conversation about this hot weather we're having. I ordered a beef & chicken enchilada plate & 2 cheeseburger kids meals. I requested fresh onions on 1 burger & grilled on the other. I was happily surprised when I found that they got the onion order correct, they let me know which drink was diet vs root beer, gave me the sauces I wanted & wrapped everything up for easy carry out w/ a drink carrier. The food was better than I expected, price was comparable & service was excellent. I'll be paying them another visit to try more of their Mexican food soon. This place is always a 10/10 the food the service is always great here I'm hardly ever in the area only passing thru at times when I have to drive to Costa Mesa to grab my son , but every so often we make it by here in time to eat dinner or lunch I must say if your ever in the area and want a good burger and fries or even Mexican food or breakfast come here it's a one stop shop !! Exceptional food. Just had an egg, cheese and bean burrito. The proportions of egg, cheese and beans were perfect! A most delicious burrito and quite filling. I used pico de gallo from their salsa bar and it totally complimented the burrito. I also drank coffee, which they make every day and reminds me of good Costa Rican coffee. The people working there are extremely pleasant and serve with an attitude of joy. The prices are competitive and appropriate for the size and deliciousness of their food. I've been living in Fullerton my whole life and I've driven past Choice Burgers at least a thousand times. The only reason it's been on my radar is because an old high school friend of mine raved about this place many many years ago. Since then, I've been keeping an eye on it but have never stopped by until today. Ordered their Huevos Rancheros and for just under $15, it was a great deal! Portions were big and dish was very flavorful. Not the best huevos rancheros I've ever had but definitely above average. Loved that they gave me 4 corn tortillas on the side as well. I rate it a solid 4 out of 5 overall. When I arrived, there were two school buses that pulled up as well. There was a group of special ed kids with their teachers/counselors that filled up the restaurant. The woman working at the front was very patient, friendly, and even laughing when appropriate when serving all these kids. That is one incredible woman and deserves some recognition for serving up the biggest smiles to go with her great personality. This is a hole-in-the-wall mom and pop shop that I will continue to support and hopefully go more often. Place is spotless and smells delicious because the kitchen is viewable from the front counter. Prices are very affordable as well! Parking is spacious, interior seating is spacious, and the exterior seating is very spacious too! I have only tried the bLT here and it is on point. My husband has tried other menu items and hasn't been impressed. Service is average. Owners are ok but nothing stands out as far as customer service. Inside is very small and they have a small outdoor area with tables and chairs. The blt is a 5, the rest is a 3 at best. read more

First time going to Choice Burgers. I'm going to start the review by saying that I recently went to Brea's Best burgers across the street. They both make excellent burgers and onion rings. If I had to pick one I would say Brea's Best makes the better Burger. I ordered a double cheeseburger from both places and as I said before they are both excellent. I had issues with Brea's Best because of their poor service and unfriendly attitude. To the point where I won't go back. Choice burgers employees were very nice and professional. I will continue going to Choice for the service and the food is still excellent. Customer service means a lot and I did not get that at Brea's Best. I did at Choice! Always a solid Choice! This is my family's go to hamburger joint. Friendly service and solid burgers. I always get a burger upgraded with fried zucchini. The fries are also very good being crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. They also have breakfast and Mexican food along with other menu selections. The food is really good and the staff is great. My 5 year old daughter is like a regular there lol. The cashier always gives her a placemat to draw on while we wait for our food and asks about her if one of us goes without her. This is a mom and pop business operating out of an old Taco Bell building. Ordered a cheese burger, patty melt, onion rings, and fries. Food was solid. The lady owner, I feel is burnt out being stuck there all the time and projects anger / frustration with how she interacts with customers. Not the friendliest owner operator I've interacted with, but she eventually came around and was friendly. I do recommend this place, and look forward to coming back and trying other items on their menu. I may even bring her a flower next time! Definitely happy to see this small mom and pop shop continue to sustain business during the pandemic. It didn't take long to get to the front of the line to order. Pastrami burger ($5.99): I'm not sure why I was expecting a hamburger without a meat patty but loaded with pastrami! I was surprised to see a regular hamburger with added pastrami. A standard sesame bun burger with shredded lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and thousand island dressing. I only wish there was more pastrami in the burger. Machaca Plate ($9.59): Hubby decided on a mexican breakfast. The machaca was served alongside tortillas, rice, tortilla chips, and beans. A very decently sized meal for the price. Private parking lot. I'd still come back to try other breakfast menu items but not sure i'd come back for a burger. read more

Menu is huge, all my favorites. Since it was my first time, I went with a basic double combo. Asked for Jalapeños and the side. The gal hooked me up with a big marinated green pepper for free. $14, and the meal was huge. Burger was stacked, and I got everything on it. Place using shredded lettuce is always a winner! Was stuffed a really good meal. Noticed a lot of locals, which is always a good sign. Breakfast availability until 8 pm. Will be back again and again to try everything! Walked in today and was standing in front of the lady at the register who I believe owns the place for maybe 5 minutes before she even looked up at my bf and I. She was busy writing something down and couldn't even acknowledge us. We waited then when she finally looks us she says YES?? In the most rude way possible acting like we have just burdened her by stepping foot into the restaurant. We instantly just turned around and left. I always order my go-to meal which is the cheeseburger combo. I've always received my food well cooked, the burger perfectly done and the fries are the best! They could ease up on the salt, but other than that, I can never go wrong with this combo. I've also tried their chicken taquitos which are good too. For service- I've always gone late afternoons or nights so I can't speak of the service when this place first opens. I just see the late shift staff and I've always been greeted kindly. The same Asian young man usually takes our order and he's always been super cool with us. Never once have we gotten bad service here. Overall, great food and customer service! read more
