We went for brunch and the food was great! They pride themselves on a scratch kitchen style so you can customize any part of your order. While we were there they were celebrating their first year of opening so they had live jazz music out on the patio. It was a fun atmosphere and the band was very talented, but the music volume was a little too loud so you couldn't really have a conversation at the table. The waitress asked us about the volume after they finished playing so I assume they have made adjustments. One major bonus is that they are dog friendly so you can take your furry friend for a night on the patio! read more

I was very surprised to find a spot like this in Tomball. I drove from the Cypress area (not many options like this in Cypress). Dined here on a Saturday evening with a group of 6. We had a short wait (roughly 15 minutes). We were greeted very quickly and the service throughout the entire meal was excellent. Our server did a wonderful job. I loved the variety in the menu and I also liked that they mention on the menu that they smoke their brisket and pork in house. They also grind their burger meat in house. Not a lot of restaurants do this these days and it was so refreshing to see the quality in food. As a table we shared the Bama Balls (fried mac n cheese balls). They were absolutely delicious and were topped with a homemade Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce. For dinner I ordered the pulled pork sliders with sweet potato fries. The pulled pork was WOW. So incredibly tasty and again with the homemade Dr. Pepper BBQ Sauce. Also toped with pickled onion and pickles. I would have given 5 stars, but I really wanted the fried apple pie. They ran out of it 5 minutes before I ordered it. I saw a table next to us that ordered several of them. So sad I did not get to try this. But, I will be back to try it! read more

Went to lunch (3/9/2022) with three friends. We all ordered burgers. I specified that I wanted mine cooked very rare. I received a medium to well done burger....not even a pink center. The server did not care and said "he would tell his manager". Service was lackluster to poor......server never came back to refill our drinks. My two friends pronounced their food to be good. Given that they will not cook a burger as requested and lack of attention to table will probably not be coming back. Had I been told that the kitchen would not prepare a rare hamburger I would have happily ordered something else from the menu. read more

I've been here a few times, and I'm making a solid decision that this is five stars. The atmosphere is very nice and the servers are extremely professional. Additionally the bar area is excellent with a wonderful bar and friendly bar tenders. They have outside seating that is well set up. On to the food, the burgers are excellent especially the signature burger. The Texas Cheese fries are a great appetizer. Connies queso is also a good bet. The only thing that has disappointed is the Nachos and I would not recommend them. They also have steaks if you're interested. For entree we had chicken fried steak, 10 oz sirloin, Mango chicken, catfish and shrimp, and chicken and biscuits. We had mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese on the side. I had a margarita and a Bloody Mary and they are both nice and strong. They don't skimp on the liquor. Everything was amazing and the food came out in a timely manner. Holy Moly! This place is absolutely delicious! We've been meaning to try it for awhile, and we finally did it tonight. This place would get six stars if Yelp would let me! We do not drink, so I can't attest to the alcoholic beverages, but the food was amazing. We had the deviled eggs to start, which was easily the best I have EVER had in a restaurant. The bacon, the onions, the pimento cheese were all just amazing together. It was the perfect blend of flavors and textures. For my meal, I had the pork sliders. The buns were slightly toasted and they came with pickles, onion and Cole slaw. I got the slaw on the side because I'm really picky with that stuff. It ended up being great, and once again, all of the flavors and textures together on the sliders were spot on. It made for an absolutely delicious meal. I can't get over how good it was. We stopped by here last week for a few brews and dinner based on the excellent Yelp reviews and we were not disappointed. There was live music on the patio we decided to eat inside as it was pretty cool that night and the music was so loud you had to yell to talk. We sat a the comfortable bar and were surprised at the amount of TVs. Our bartender was busy but on point. I liked that she introduced herself asked our names and engaged in a nice brief conversation before taking our drink order. Hi Red you are great!! Obviously there is a full bar and some interesting draft selections. Menu has a little bit of everything. We opted for burgers and they were awesome. Mine was prepared and cooked perfectly. Folks around the bar were friendly as well and we struck up a conversation with the patrons seated on both sides of us. A good time with good food and great service. Well he was out of town tonight so I was happy to get to eat there. I normally love the sea bass, but it missed the mark tonight. The fish didn't taste fresh and the sauce was very thin and runny. Then I had the BBQ beast burger and it had a weird taste. I ask for cheese and they forgot, when I asked for it again it took another 5 minutes before I had to remind her again and the mayo. They messed up our order and gave it to somebody else, so we had to wait another 10 min. Never got water refill. I had the pecan sundae and they could at least have comped but nothing. Friendly and helpful staff and nice to see a unique and appetizing menu... Food was pretty but not extremely tasty. Tried pretzels n Queso app (way overpriced), Bama Balls (ok, but don't know what the hype was), Rebel Burger very poor (way over-salted, flavors didn't mix, over-cooked n tasteless and the 15 over-salted fries that came with it - not memorable), Mason Jar salad enjoyed, Chicken Fried Chicken sat under the heat lamp way too long, and the chicken and waffles were light, crisp, sweet n proved to be a winner along with my refreshing house signature Bev called, Blood & Oil. I am pretty impressed by the selection of beers they serve. This would be a great place to belly up to the bar and get your craft beer kick on! However, I decided to try lunch here. The lunch menu is limited to about 6 or so items and it is very reasonably priced. I ordered the chicken and biscuit with a salad and regular fries and it was amazing! You can not go wrong with fried chicken stuffed inside a biscuit with pickles and a house made tangy sauce. I give that 5 starts! Plus it was $8.50!! The portion was small, but just enough for me. My friend ordered the half grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and a salad and she also raves about it. I love how each table has dividers so it's like having a semi private table. It's definitely Covid safe. The only reason they lost the additional star on my review was due to the service. We walked in right a 11, unaware of the time since we had been out most of the morning and we were instantly greeted with an annoyed server. She sat us abruptly and always seemed bothered or militant like. She was not friendly even when I tried to engage and I could tell she was not happy to be at work that day. Everyone has bad days so I'm sure it was a fluke. They do have a large regular menu and I look forward to trying more items. Maybe I can add the additional star soon. read more
