Went here with high hopes after having it in mind to stop by for months & months...stopped on a Friday night, loved the bar decor, good country music (which was a pleasant surprise). Keep in mind we drove out of the way to seek it out too. BUT, the staff was ALL out sitting in the booth area of the bar (directly behind us, 5 ft away) rolling silver ware, chatting it up and doing so like the place was closed already, an HOUR before closing on a FRIDAY night. Ruined it for us. Sorry, the whole staff can't be clanging shit around and chatting it up and taking up 3 or 4 booths in the bar area and have a good bar experience. Too bad. Oh, & the entire front area was completely empty & all of the customers were at the bar, so had all the early closeout tasks been necessary they could have at least been done out of site, not right next to everyone that was there eating & drinking at the bar. What amazing service and delicious food! Russell was our server and recommended the queso to start with, it was delicious. I also ordered the Spicy BAM drink which was delicious. For entrees I got the Marco Island Mahi Mahi and it was absolutely wonderful. The pineapple and Pico were such a great pair with the fish. My boyfriend got the Georgia Chicken and the plate was completely clean at the end of his meal. He said the goat cheese and pecans paired perfectly together with the sweet and savory. The only thing he said was maybe less sweet potato spirals or sub for rice with it..but he still ate everything. For dessert we had the brownie dish with ice cream and we didn't leave a single drop! Russell was helpful in helping us pick dishes and gave great recommendations. He was attentive and an excellent server. read more

We visited this place by chance because we were on the hunt for chicken and waffles and the place we wanted to dine was closed. We've lived in the area for 3 years and always passed by the place but never tried it. We are so glad we did. Everything was tasted amazing. Their chicken and waffles were fresh, my husband had fish and chips and we both shared the bama balls. Very disappointed in the lunch that we had this week at craft Grill. First my girlfriend ordered a Mason jar salad with salmon and Caesar dressing. The waiter brought her a salad with nothing in it but a little bit of cheese croutons and a very tiny piece of salmon. It did not have the avocado grapes etc. when the waiter delivered it I asked where is the rest of her salad and he said this is what she ordered Caesar salad and I said yes it was supposed to have avocado and grapes and it was actually a mason jar salad. I've never had a waiter argue and instead of taking it off the bill or replacing it or fixing it he just let it go and never returned. This is for the breakfast restaurant. We actually like the lunch and dinner area. We've now been to the breakfast restaurant twice. The first time was right after they opened so gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, today's second visit was worse. Order to receiving the food took forever, again. The food came and out of four separate orders only one had everything. One order was supposed to come with biscuits "that were cooking", never received it. When we said it was a pretty important part of the breakfast, the manager took $1.50 off. Really? Definitely won't go back! Food was just ok. read more

I've gotten the crawfish redfish 3x here and it never disappoints. The Florida keys chicken is also very good. I did not get a picture of the apple pie but it was also delicious. Love this place. Been here many times. Efficiently run operation with great food and a good selection as well. Service has always been great. They have a good selection of beers on tap and a great open bar area. They also have an outdoor seating area that allows dogs on leashes. We've brought our pup the last few times we went here. This is a local spot in a new shopping center and it is decorated very well! The front of house staff was awesome. We were greeted and only had to wait about 15 min on a busy Saturday night. Unfortunately the food was just not up to pare. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo pasta and the sauce tasted burned and the shrimp was VERY salty. My boyfriend had the Rockport redfish which was covered in sauce and over cooked. We also ordered a side of asparagus (entrees don't come with sides) and literally we got a plate with 5 stalks!! Overall, I wanted to really enjoy this place but the food was sub pare and expensive. I paid $89 for a meal that was comparable to an Applebee's. Honestly, it's extremely overpriced for mediocre food. The beer is always warm, margaritas taste like nothing but mixer, save your time and your money. So many better places to go in the woodlands. I read the reviews and decided to try Craft grill twice now over the last 3 weeks and to be honest have been very underwhelmed! The place is clean and cool and the staff attentive so this isn't the issue, that comes with the food. I had fish and chips first time and they were bland and tasteless, then yesterday had club with bacon Mac and cheese and again just very average and forgettable. On par with Chili's honestly. There prices reflect a better result in my honest opinion and they have a great Audience. I visited Craft a year ago and food was excellent so this is a open minded review - just nothing to write home about unfortunately. read more
