Close enough to PDX hotels to Uber. The food was spectacular. The salads are huge. The ribs looked amazing. The lamb meatloaf was extremely tasty and the chicken pesto fettuccine was able to be made without fettuccine for me with just extra veggies and it was stellar. They did not even balk at substituting the extra veggies.. the swordfish special with the mushroom risotto and grilled asparagus was awesome. Everything was cooked to perfection and our waiter. Torben was the highlight. He had a wonderful, can-do attitude, very accommodating and extremely friendly. He really treated us amazing and his workplace as though restaurant was his taking pride in his job. The desserts that walked by our table made me wish I had only shared a meal with someone. We are typically brunch people, making it here most often on a Saturday or Sunday for a late brunch. Their benedicts are to die for... truly, they're all wonderful. Their Laser Potato is out of this world. Truly, my favorite item on their menu. It is fabulous in all ways. I often take a side of it home just to enjoy later. We recently tried them for dinner. Their muscles are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Truly, the best I've ever had. This beats living in the southeast on the coast, any west-coast seafood restaurant, and every place I've ever enjoyed in Italy. They've certainly topped the muscle game. Highly recommend Olympic Provisions. I will gladly vouch that the negative reviews are from the haters, just to hate. The arugula salad was refreshing although I'd ask to have it accompany the duck stacks next time to have a refreshing side. I love fish so I expected to love the chicken fried trout but it was just alright compared to the other dishes. The Paris brest was excellent. Personally, a little too much passionfruit tartness for me but loved the milk crumbles. Heartless Rita mocktail tasted too much like juice for me.

We did end up sending it back (which i hate doing) and got it redone adding another 10isj minutes of waiting on top of our already pretty long wait (but again it was busy so we didnt rlly care much for the wait) but i did get full off of the sides by the time the redo came out The redo definitely tasted alot better, it didnt taste burnt which was good but in general didnt really have much flavor. I will say the potatoes were good, bell peppers were okay, unfortunately nothing was great....we ended up spending around ~$210 for two people for a meal that really did not satisfy either of us, we'll maybe give it another try on a less busy day but it was rough considering this was also our anniversary dinner

The majo sausage and spatzel were excellent as was the pork. Think of thick cut pork chop and it tasted just like it. We had one piece dryer than the other but they were cooked closer to medium. This was the best dish of the night. At $79 I would certainly hope so. We ended the night with some house ice cream and the again, these guys understand classic flavors. Service here was terrific. It didn't feel rushed and food came out accordingly. My water was always topped off in my small glass. Would definitely revisit when I'm back at Portland.

The wine list, of course, truly shines. This is a place where you can ask your server for recommendations for wines to pair with your meal, and you know you're going to get great recommendations. The interior dining space is larger than it looks from the outside, and the vibe is perfect for date nights, after work hangs, and girls' nights out. I've also always seen at least one family with children when I've dined here, so I like that they are welcoming of families. If you're driving here, I've never had a problem finding street parking nearby. But, there are garages close by as well. Can't wait for my next visit!

The lobster roll was absolutely delicious with bread that holds the flavors together. Cooked well and no notes here! The start of the evening was absolutely the cedar plank whole branzino. We were fortunate to still get a spot outside which worked out because it wasn't too hot and the outdoor space is much more spread out than inside. We ordered a dozen oysters to start. Love their various droppers with infused mignottes and hot sauces. Really made it fun to try out different combos. We also got the cold smoked mussels, the hamachi crudo, grilled oysters, lobster roll, rockfish, and the little gem salad. In order of least favorite to favorite, the little gem salad was good but just not that memorable or spetqcular the way the other dishes were. Next, the grilled oysters were flavorful with the garlic and lime but I wished there was a little more kimchi flavor and overall more sauce given the size of the oysters (they were huge!). The lobster roll was good and I appreciated the different take on a lobster roll but my favorite lobster rolls that really accentuate the lobster flavor and this masked it a little. The hamachi crudo was a surprise. It's a dish you see a lot and I was a little worried about how the pineapple might overtake the rest of the flavors but that didn't happen. The balance between sweet, savory, sour, and crunch from the peanuts was perfect and every bite was really enjoyable. Finally, my favorite was the cold smoked mussels. You never know how fish sauce and tom kha might overwhelm everything but again, their chef understands flavor balance really well. You could taste all the flavors, the smokiness, the slight bitter and sour umami flavors and slight sweetness to round it out. It was outstanding and highly recommend. They also have great cocktails that go well with their dishes. Really enjoyed the experience here and will definitely come back.
