I'm a hard critique for Thai food, giving this a solid 4 star but this spot did not disappoint. I have to give them a shoutout for the appetizers! Specially the ahi tuna and sautéed pork! Both dishes were fresh and unique in flavor and I would surely return just for those! As for the red curry it completely took care of my craving but it did not taste as authentic as I've experienced in other locations. So if you're looking for a decent curry fix it will do the job and overall I would give it a solid 4! I also would have loved to have other curry options overall! Pad Thai was not traditional but the crispy tofu and pork rinds were a great touch! For end the show the Thai donuts were delicious you will not want to skip out these!! Service was great and staff was very friendly! Somewhat a hole in the wall feel given its location and size but overall clean atmosphere!

This has been on my radar for a long time after Yelp piqued my interest. Friendly service, cute decor and poppin flavours. I sampled their masamam curry swapping out the beef for chicken and their moon sushi roll! I will be back!

Always got to stop by when I'm back in the South Miami area. Noticed some new menu items this time around and definitely needed to give them a try. Loved the toro bowl. Service is always top notch and welcoming.

Came here on a Saturday night with a gf of mine and they were pretty busy! Thankfully there was no wait though and we were seated right away. To share we ordered the Hamachi Jalapeño appetizer based on the recommendation from our server. She steered us well because we really enjoyed it. As my sushi roll I ordered the Miami White. I thought it was really good. I wish I was more hungry to order another roll, but that's a reason to come back! For dessert we ordered Thai Donuts and they were absolutely delicious. Perfect end to the meal. I would come back here to try more items off the menu. Just a note, they didn't have liquor, just beer and sake. I got a lychee sake and it was pretty good.

Unearthed another GEM! Mom & Pop Thai & Sushi. Nestled in the heart of South Miami, not huge but large enough, great Service. For Appetizers we had crispy pork belly, Hamachi Jalapeño, shishito peppers, all three amazing although I prefer naked shishito, theirs is tempura, still great. Entree I had the slow cooked pork belly curry, a traditional dish from the Northern Region. The sauce was so flavorful and delicious, never had anything similar before. Will def be back to try a noddle soup as well as other small plates, i want to try them all!! Ambiance, chill and friendly, prices don't break the bank.

The place was extremely clean and organized. It's small, but very cute for a date or hangout with friends. The food was amazing. I tried two rolls and my friend goes there for the curry itself. The service was amazing. Our waitress was so attentive and kind. She had great recommendations. I will definitely be returning!

Came for dinner a couple nights ago with an out of town guest who grew up nearby. He was shocked to find a restaurant in this side of US1. I think he took a video of the area since we originally sat outside because inside was packed. Luckily a table became available inside before the mosquitoes ate us alive! We ordered the following for 3 adults and 2 kids: Crispy tuna rice cake Thai crispy chicken wings Bang bang shrimp Fried oysters Some special homemade dumplings French fries that had a fancy name Shrimp pad thai (comes with a few pieces of chicharrones) Bad boy roll Tuna mango roll Another roll with shrimp tempura & some kind of torched fish and a lot of crispy shallots on top (not sure if it was a special) Khao Man Gai Khan Moo Krob We had a little bit of the chicken and rice leftover but we ate it all!! The food didn't wow me this time but it was still good. Shout out to Fluke, my favorite waiter.

Delish apps! My favorite was the soup and the hamachi. Very flavorful. We had to wait for a bigger table but the team was accommodating to get us seated and then move us as soon as one became available.

We ordered Surf and Turf, the Crispy Pork Belly, Tomyam Noodle Soup which was phenomenal! Service & atmosphere were a 10000/10

Went on a Sunday night for dinner and it was packed! Such a cute hidden place in the Sunset area. We were seated in about 20 mins. We ordered some sake, then got apps (Shumai and the papaya salad). Then ordered the Sugar Mama and Black Dragon. Omg so delicious and melted in your mouth. There are definitely some more dishes that I would love to try out. Everything is very reasonably priced. It's all tapas style so everyone can share. There is also a parking garage around the corner for customers of the resturant which is convenient. Soon to be back for this hole in the wall!

I will say the sushi roll itself (while not necessarily small) was not all that large/filling, so I would recommend getting something else on the side. I liked that their roll and appetizers had a fun flavor and uniqueness that I haven't seen at other places. But I will say the prices are a little expensive but I guess average for Miami area. I was surprised to find single-use chopsticks over reusable ones. A small detail in an otherwise fairly nice restaurant that did kind of stick out to me. The vibe kind of felt like a mix of a slightly more upscale restaurant, but also kind of minimalist modern if that makes sense? Additionally, our service was a bit slow, with our waiter right over our shoulder asking if we were ready to place our order, no then not being around for the rest of the meal. Maybe it was just an off night though, and the food did come out fairly quickly. Overall I did enjoy my meal here, and I would probably come back eventually when I want something slightly more upscale. But on a day-to-day I would probably go Edward for my sushi fix. Not that the food was bad by any meals. I really enjoyed the fun and different flavor combinations, it's just a little pricy to go to everyday, and in my opinion the main portion sizes don't quite reflect that or have any particular flare to them aside from a colorful/flavorful sauce or topping in them. Recommend a try if you are nearby though to see for yourself.

We ended up here on NYE for a quickie bite before heading to Fairchild's Night Garden. The vibe is kitschy and fun and the menu hits the sweet spot for Japonophiles with a curated assortment of faves from takoyaki to tonkotsu and even onigiri. On this night we wanted to keep it light so we started with the Japanese pickles which were a vibrant and crisp mix of veggies. Then a miso soup with fried rolled tofu sheets and lots of fresh green onions. We can never pass up his and hers unagi nigiri, and these were perfection: warm, sweet, and buttery on the tongue. Then it was time for makimono. Sushi in Japan tends to be simpler with a focus on expertly cut fresh fish, but at Umaimon they depart from the classics to play to the American palate with ingredients like cream cheese and mango. Now these are not the most creative offerings you'll find in the 305, but they do offer solid choices done well. He had the Twin Dragon and I couldn't pass on the Sugar Daddy. Now, is this the best Japanese/sushi place you're going to find in Miami? Probably not. But is it the most kawaii? Quite possibly. If you too have fallen in love with Japan but can't afford another plane ticket, Umaimon comes in clutch delivering faves in an unassuming spot.
