We tried the snowcrab mixed steamer (with Boom and garlic butter). This looks pricey but is worth every penny. The shrimp basket was perfectly cooked and perfectly cooked. The oysters and calamari were also a solid option. P. S. The top shelf long Island was the best I've had in years The bad. First I will start with my boil it was tasty and great choice. My drink was fine. My cousin got the mozzarella sticks and said they were tasty. But the bad was my server Charles charged me my bill then someone else's on my card. My bill was 66.28 but he also charged me 90.13 and because I have text alerts I noticed immediately and the server and manager acted like I was dumb. Said my card charged me more to pull the money but actually they messed up and tried to steal from me they reversed the charge after I called them on it. Service was slow to be expected after the pandemic everything went left. The food needs to be checked it was horrible. Fish sticks was a no the batter was gross and the calamari was very chewy. I am so glad that I am able to get out and just enjoy a wonderful time with my goddaughter today on this 4th of July! Our server, Krystal, was so fun, personable, attentive, and fun. She was a very sweet person and she represented the holiday spirit with her cute hair decoration and brilliant smile. However, i ordered on Doordash, my snow crableg with crawfish broil was so salty, I think I now have high blood pressure. The potatoes and corn was cooked great but it was all mixed up so it was super salty as well. There was so much MSG in the dish it tasted terrible, $100 in the trash. This was my first experience going to the restaurant and it will be my last. A big group of us went to the restaurant and spent a lot of money and the service was awful. Some of the servers were very rude, and they kept giving away the tables we were supposed to sit at. We waited hours to be seated and there were customers just walking in getting the tables. We had people who paid separately and the tips they were asking for was crazy. I got the boil and there was barely any sauce. I had a craving for crab legs and didn't want to drive the Red Crab House, Laurel, MD. I decided to give the newly established Crafty Crab at Arundel Mills Mall. I order the crab leg and shrimp broil to go. All in all the food was good, especially the shrimp, corn, and potato. The crab meat was underwhelming at best, it was not tasty. It was good for something close and convenient!! We did the small seafood platter and it was enough for the two of us. They said they get their liquor license by the end of August so that's exciting! The seasoning was sooooo good in the bag. The fries were also soooo good with the perfect crunch and seasoning. We loved everything, it was a burst of flavor. We went around 3 PM on a Monday so it wasn't busy and our food came out fast. Our server was friendly and attentive. Long overdue review for the Crafty Crab in the Arundel Mills Mall. I ordered the fried shrimp & fried fish baskets and the food was good. The wait time for the order was a bit longer than desired but it was ok. Prices were average and as expected for the portion & quality. The server was nice & the restaurant wasn't too busy when I went but I expect this new location to ramp up with customers. So I've been to many restaurants that serve seafood boils, and this is the first time I wasn't given gloves, a bib, and we didn't get sanitizing wipes until we asked. I don't even think they have gloves to give since I saw no other patron wearing them. I will say, the waitress was really friendly and the food was good and seasoned well, but I was definitely underwhelmed with the amount of food given for how much I paid. There also was not enough sauce in the bag which also ruined the experience a bit. We went here for lunch for the first (and last) time on Saturday 11/4/23. Firstly, the service, I don't want to bag on our waitress too much, I feel she was somewhat a victim of poor planning by the hostess. But we barely saw her and usually when we did she did not stop to see how we were doing until I had to physically wave her down to come over. I found out at the end of our time there that ALL her other tables were on the literal opposite side of the restaurant and we were her only table on the end by the mall. So all the tables around us were getting really great attention from another lady but we were just ignored, which was frustrating to say the least. Next, the food. We tried the fried items, the shrimp, the chicken and the scallops - all with fries. I think its very lame that you cant upgrade your fries to the crab fries by paying the difference... why, if I'm ordering meals that come with fries should I have to order a completely NEW order of fries to get the crabby fries? just let me pay the $8 difference between a side a fries and the crabby fries and get on with my life. The Scallops were straight up disgusting, I had one and it was mushy, seawater. I've never had these before, maybe thats what they are supposed to taste like but I hated it. The Chicken and the shrimp were both good, I have nothing bad to say about them. Also, the fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings were all decent. The other thing I got was clam chowder, which was an insult to god and nature. Correct me if I'm wrong but clam chowder is supposed to 1 - be thick and delicious and 2 HAVE CLAMS IN IT! The chowder itself was SUPER watery and mostly celery and little potato bits. Like, did they forget to thicken it? It was the consistency of ramen broth. And there were a total of two (2) tiny clams in it. I know this because they cam in the shell so I had to pick the shell out of my soup and scrape the little morsel into it. I guess they do this to prove that there is at least 1 clam in the soup to justify it being called clam chowder. But I would rather just spend $3 on a can of Campbells Chunky soup than eat this swill again. Lastly, the music in the place was 2nd tier slow jams R&B. This made overall atmosphere kinda depressing as it was either a slow love song or a slow break up song one after another. I ordered fried tilapia via online. It was over cooked, fish was not fresh, and had a bad after taste. Apparently, the oil in which the fish was cooked in was old as well. I called as the location in Arundel Mills mall. I asked to speak to the manager. I was placed on hold for more than 30 minutes. I was on hold long enough to get into my car and drive 15 miles to the restaurant. I was still on hold when I arrived at the restaurant and the manager never came to the phone. When I arrived to the front counter I was asked by a woman whom sounded like the same woman who placed me hold what I needed. I again said I would like to speak to the manager. It was then I looked down at the counter and saw the phone receiver was laying on the counter and I was still on hold. The lady looked at me sheepishly and picked up the phone receiver laying on the counter and said hello, to which I replied hello (still being on hold). She says no I am not talking to you looking at me and she says I am talking to the person on the phone. I responded that is me. Someone left me on hold for more than 30 minutes so I drove here. The manager, who I had been waiting to speak with, finally came to the counter after a few minutes and I explained my issue with the fish and how I have been placed on an extensive hold. After much debate and showing the him the fish the issue was rectified. And no, I did not get a replacement order. Why would I let you cook me anything else on old grease, nor do I eat/wanted anything else from there. I would not eat at this establishment as they do not have good customer service and they do not cook/handle seafood properly. Never again! And yes, I ended my night still being hungry! read more

There was another party that came in 15 mins after me and had their order taken. What a disappointment. The waitress blamed it on miscommunication. Have been here three times with my friends and the food and drinks never disappoints. The seafood boil with crab legs and shrimp-- mild spice level with the Cajun seasoning-- tastes great every single time. The seafood is cooked perfectly (not overdone or undercooked) and the drinks are strong. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are great. My daughter treated me to carry out from here and herself on Monday, January 16, 2023. The Seafood Boils we received were disgusting. Both of our crab legs tasted like vinegar and were mushy inside when trying to open them. Our potatoes had dark spots on them looking like they were no good and neither bag had much sauce in it like it normally would. We ended up throwing away our Boils because we felt like they may been scraped off of someone's table and bag and to top it off I couldn't call and complain because cashier did not give me a receipt which they have a habit of doing, which I believe is so that you can't call back and ask for a refund without a receipt. I guess management responded to my review and stated I could have brought the food back. I had a good experience with takeout. I ordered some seafood boil items through their website. I wasn't clear about how I would know when it will be ready so I called after 25 minutes and it was ready for pickup. The parking lot is not close to the main entrance. If you are picking up and you have someone with you, it might be easier to pull to the side of the road and have someone go inside to get it. There might be security on those roads so you might not be able to do that. I enjoyed the strong flavor from the meal. I took it home and warmed everything back up in a pot. The following day, threw some noodles in with the leftovers and there was still plenty of flavor. I may come back to try a fried basket. read more

First time here at this location. Server Tee if I remember was nice. She was attentive only gripe I had to wait just a tad for her to come over to get the bill.
