I've yet to have a bad experience. The 29.99 shrimp special special is definitely worth the price. They say it comes with only 2 potatoes but I've never received less than four. My husband and I(really me) wanted to try this place as I recently won him over with seafood boil @ Mr. Boil in VA. Our food was disappointing to say with 1) The amount of sauce provided in the bag. 2) Food appeared to resteamed or previously steamed and heated just enough as I am used to hot food with steam flowing as THIS IS A SEAFOOD BOIL. 3) I explained my concerns that my shrimp DID NOT taste as though they were steamed well enough as they still have some toughness or again were NOT hot. 4) Our server was friendly and attempted to make our dining experience pleasant..kudos to him. 5) No liquor 6) Husband was pleased with crab legs and both of our sauces tasted well, however see #1..not enough sauce to coat your food and absorb the flavor of the seasoning...therefore the food was bland. I will say that this place does get busy especially when the mall os open and it seems like Friday through Sunday are their most busy days. For drinks I was able to try Love on the beach, Black cherry limeade, Double berry, and the Pear martini. All the drinks were great with the exception of the pear martini. It was strong and couldn't really taste any pear flavor. The crabmeat fries I would say is not worth it cause all you get for the $6 difference from the regular fries is a cheese sauce and a tiny amount of crab. I would say just get regular fries if you want fried. The wings were great very crispy and juicy. I also got the 5 baby octopus in the Boom sauce and that was great as well. One tip I would offer is if you try the baby octopus and get the wings, get Cajun wings and when you get the octopus and finish it, toss the wings in the Boom sauce. I promise you will not regret it. Or you can toss it in the Boom sauce of your boil if you don't wanna try the octopus. I ended up trying the boil special with crab legs, headless shrimp, sausage and mussels in the Boom sauce and it was delicious. The server Kita was great as well and helped us choose things on the menu that were good, and she had a great attitude. Not impressed at all, this place is so very over priced and the quality is terrible.I got the crab fries and the ones with the actual crab on them were good bu got a whole boat and the top barely had any actually none on it! One couldn't even incorporate it to the other fries. We also had a catfish basket tha was boring and tasteless. Got half pound of king crab just terrible. The manager is an axx hole I spent well over $200.00 an asked for more napkins he got an attitude. In my opinion you shouldn't have a manager that tolerates black people especially since there are the majority of his customers. Food was delicious. Our server was Jessica and she clearly had better things to do than to wait on our table. We were sat after being told a 20 minute wait which ended up being 60. We finally get a table just to watch our server serve people who sat after us. We watched people who sat after us eat and leave before we even got our APPETIZER! It was my first visit there with a colleague and thought it would be nice to have sea food for business lunch, the server was Tony who started with an attitude, I placed an order for cajun chicken (6) for appetizer and unsweetened ice tea while I look at the menu. my colleague asked for unseated ice tea too but without ice. Tony brought the teas with ice, my colleague informed him that he wanted no ice, Tony took both tea back and when asked to give me my tea and change only one, he got very angry and slammed both tea in front of me. I asked him why he is he angry, he walked away. A lady brought the order, however when I requested to place the entree order Tony came in and inform us that he was too busy to attend to us. I then asked to speak to the manager he said he was the manager and has to attend to other people. my colleague was obviously not happy and he called the front desk and asked to report the rudeness of the server but was told that he is the manager. I asked for the bill to get out of there and avoid drama, Tony brought the bill and I paid nd left. However later I realize that the bill was for 10 cajun chicken and not 6 as ordered. I called and a lady promised to call me back to correct the order but nobody called back. Terrible service Sunday at noon when the restaurant was only 15% full. We ordered drinks which took 20 minutes to come out. My husband's beer had an issue with the tap so after 40 minutes they asked if he'd like a different beer. That beer never came out. There were plenty of staff on hand.
