Perfect spot in Geist on day with 80-85 degree temperature. They have a cute patio where dogs are allowed, always a sucker for pet friendly locations (I know I am a biased pet owner)! I ordered the orange cream popsicle and my husband Superman! The popsicle was thick, creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, hit the spot. Superman as the name says had a variety of childhood flavors bringing memories alive. We had a great time sitting at the patio. I omitted one star for the cost of the pup cup. It costed $3.50 and that is definitely expensive. Else a great place to visit! read more

Tonight we went to Crave ice cream social. The amount of extravagant options at this restaurant had me going coco loco. I got a Superman ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, and my son, Parker had a chocolate ice cream sunday, and my niece got a chocolate ice cream with cookie dough and jelly bears. although they were a little bit stale. The service is great. We got served right away, and there are many options to choose from. I like the old rustic house theme that there is. it's pretty epic! overall, I like the restaurant overall, but I got the Superman ice cream and it hurt my tummy not even 1/4 all the way done. too much sugar. read more

I don't know what it is but I've been here several different times over the past year, and the service is always terrible. Today was the epitome of it though. Final straw for us. Walked in to an almost empty place with three people working. A young girl was ordering and was short by some change. The younger blonde girl that was at the register was super rude to her for having to go out to her mom to grab the extra change. It held up two other kids waiting to pay for a shake who seemed chill about it and also watched this whole thing go down. But a newer guy working there had accidentally given her the wrong flavor. He was nice but clearly new and in high school probably. The blonde girl was rude to him about it, too. She told him to take the ice cream out of the cone (that the girl had in her hand) and put it back into the container in the freezer!!! She even said that someone else (assuming a manager?) told her to do that before. Just so they wouldn't waste a cone. Like GIRL NO. That is like food service 101 and terrible customer service. Honestly I contemplated not ordering after seeing that... But we did, and the ice cream was good. Honestly it's Sundae's ice cream so just go there down the road and get it from people who are kind and patient. One star for the ice cream because it was good, but if I'm eating ice cream that may have possibly been in someone else's cone (that they may have touched or licked!!!), that's gross and such a liability. We are big on supporting small businesses but you guys need to figure out the customer service part. I tried to give this place a chance because of location and the cute setup by Geist but our family won't be back. read more

My daughter asked for some ice cream during some mommy-daughter errands out and I remembered that Crave was on my way home, so we decided to stop by. Crave is located right in the heart of Geist marina. There's not just Crave, but a few other restaurants like Wolfies and Puccini's and businesses nearby. During peak boating months, the area is super busy and full of entertainment. My daughter and I browsed Crave. There's tons of treats in addition to ice cream, like honey, chocolate covered bananas, cookies, shirts and popcorn. My daughter is usually a go to vanilla kind of kid. However today she was adventurous and tried a vegan popsicle with guava, oranges, and pineapple. I opted for the vegan birthday cake. I was surprised by how many vegan and gluten free options Crave has. Definitely enough treats for all diet and lifestyle needs. The popsicle was perfectly sweet and tart and the vegan birthday cake ice cream was really good! The price point is higher than most ice cream shops. A small anything starts off at basically $4 so you're only going up from there. The cookies I noticed were priced around $2 so I thought that was a fair deal. I would definitely stop at Crave anytime I'm out on the reservoir. I'm anxious to try some more of the vegan options! read more

This was a new stop for us in as we are rarely in the Geist Marina area. We went there today to get a gift card for our granddaughter's birthday as it is her favorite ice cream. It seems she was right. While there we sampled the eggnog and coconut ice cream and were not disappointed. I've been meaning to try Crave and I finally got the chance. My subdivision had their ice cream truck come out this evening from 6-8pm for some cool treats. The day was very hot so ice cream was perfect. I opted for the Superman ice cream because I'm still a kid at heart, lol. It was actually really good. I was introduced to this cute little ice cream shop by a friend. I will say that Crave has the BEST COOKIES n' CREAM ICE CREAM ever! No other ice cream shop can compare to the cookies n' cream at this place. The staff was extremely friendly. Prices are typical prices for the location. I was not a fan of the popcorn, but to be fair, the popcorn wasnt their brand. I hope to try a few of the cookies here soon. I'd lost my AirPods one day, and went back to Crave the following day to see if I'd left them. One of the staff members went above and beyond to find my AirPods, which are very tiny, by the way. I have my AirPods, thanks to this staff member, who had to take a broom and sweep around to find them. Now that's customer service! I decided to buy a pint of ice cream while there. The staff was helpful giving tastings before purchase if you are debating between flavors. I went with a Dark Chocolate Raspberry Ripple which had a deep flavor. There is convenient dining both inside and out (weather permitting) for enjoying your purchases. Parking is shared with other businesses in the strip. Anyway, they have lots of indoor tables and outdoor tables on the patio (with big umbrellas). Several severs so the line moves fast- and they're friendly!
