I decided to come here because I want to explore all the places near my job. I ended up ordered the Patrick Star. I ordered it and through 18 was pretty steep for a large sandwich. I was hella wrong, it was hefty like a new born baby. It reminded me of little luccas. For the price, it's better than the other popular place. The place is decorated with comic book characters and theres hella seating. Everything was fairly clean and it felt nice to be in there. The service was great, they have a good system and the people are hella nice. The food was hella smacking not going to lie. I picked the wrong one because it was too messy lol. Elephant in the room. Yes, Crave Subs is similar to Ike's. Let's put it out there. Even if the owner says they did not copy them, I mean, it just feels that way. Great sandwiches with fun names, Zapps chips, free sucker with your meal, it's the vibe right? BUT one thing that I will say was noticeably different than my experience of Ike's was that their staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered on the kiosk to be able to take my time, go through their menu. And the staff there offered to answer any questions, told me to take my time, and was friendly all while training another employee. I ordered several sandwiches for me and my friends and overall, we enjoyed our sandwiches! I had the Patrick Star and thought it was flavorful and enjoyed their chicken over Ike's, less dry. I wasn't sure what to expect from Korean Fried Chicken, but it was like a slightly spicy savory Asian type of sauce. Prices are great considering you can get a regular sub for under $15 (some closer to $10) and it is still large and filling. I'm pretty sure everyone in my circle of friends (minus 1-2 really hungry guys) would order a regular and be full with that. I've shared the menu so you won't think all the sandwiches are $22 as one "helpful" review complained about. Location is far from where you would typically go to grab a lunch unless you work out in the area. If I worked in the area, I would go more often. Their Crave Sauce is hard to describe, wish I knew what was in it. I didn't have a problem with tipping on the kiosk. I don't know if I missed it on how to omit an item (like lettuce or tomato) so I put it in the notes and it was still in my sub. No biggie I pulled them out. Will just double check the ordering system next time. Anyway, this is long. But I'll be back. I don't like spending $40 on two sandwiches so this is a nice change! This can easily go toe to toe with ANY sandwich place in the Bay. What makes this place so great? Quality, portions, and reasonable price. Friend picked this up for a team meeting and what a pleasant surprise! Look how huge these sandwiches are, and that is just half of the sandwich, the part I'm holding. One half is a meal by itself. It's called "the shrek" and has pesto, lettuce & tomato, arugula, a whole bunch of (vegan) turkey stuffed in there, I'm sure if green eggs and ham were a thing Crave would find a way to stuff that in there too haha. The non-vegan comes with classic turkey and cheese aka The Shaggy. If I were in the area I would definitely order again. Decided to give it a try and 10/10 sooooo good. I got the tom & Jerry on Dutch crunch. It reminded me of the ménage trois from Ike's but soooo much better. The Dutch crunch was fresh- soft on the inside with a crunch texture on the outside, like how it's suppose to be. I like how they have mini (4inch) subs sizes. It was perfect for me and my 11 yr old son. Also the option to make the sub a 12inch sandwich was really nice, my husband did the upgrade and it was huge! This place is absolute fire. The ambiance is great with the anime and cartoon references throughout the shop. I like how the ordering screen also has a comic touch. I found this place while doom scrolling on Yelp. Since I was going to be in the area later in the week, I thought about stopping by for lunch. I'm really glad I did because this place serves really good sandwiches. I ordered the Barney sandwich on a wheat roll. It's turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, their house sauce, and a thin layer of cranberry sauce. It's $11.99 for half a sandwich and $20 for a full sandwich. This place is a little pricey from what I'm used to but it was a very good sandwich. They did pack the sandwich pretty well, and each layer of ingredients was the perfect portion. The sandwich was decent nothing special and same for the curly fries (might have been better with some ranch). We were craving sandwiches one day and happen to find this place by chance. It's in a small plaza with other small, local eateries nearby. It also looks like a great spot for those that are working in nearby companies over at Industrial as well. There's a small parking lot that's right at the front of the restaurant, but it looks like it can be filled up pretty easily since there are other stores as well. When entering, I noticed that the place was pretty clean. There's also a variety of anime, marvel, and Star Wars pictures hung up. You can also order through the kiosk at the front or at the register. My boyfriend ordered a large sandwich, I opted for the smaller size, and we both shared a side of fries. I can't eat that much, and I'm really glad that they have a smaller size available since not many places have that option. We have been going to crave for a few years and always enjoyed it...but this weekend we got our daughter's birthday catered by crave and it was a godsend! We had a party of 70 guests. This was my first time ordering food for a party of this size and they made it so easy for us. We weren't sure how many to get and what options were and they helped suggest the perfect order down to some simple options for the kids. The presentation was beautiful. I loved the boxes they came in and were so easy to display and store the little leftovers that we had. There was something in there for everyone.
