The waitress was pleasant and kept our drinks consistently filled without asking. Had the Swole Bowl and truly enjoyed it, the flavors melded well together and the meal came already packed in a to go bowl (just pop on the lid) which you will definitely need! Additionally we had the chips and queso which was thick and delicious. Highly recommend stopping by for a filling meal.

Definitely an awesome atmosphere to have drinks and watch a game, but that's as far as it goes. Ingredients tasted fresh, but everything was bland - little to no seasoning - and dry. My partner and I both got bone-dry burritos that were meant to be saucy. We each had a couple bites, then packed up the leftovers to take home to doctor up ourselves - because again, the components (rice, beans, proteins) WERE quality and cooked quite well, but the final product was nearly inedible. Had to ask for hot sauce or salsa, didn't get any choices, a couple tiny cups of what tasted almost exactly like Frank's Red (Mexican?) were brought to us, which I was charged extra for. Asked for a receipt after I checked out, because the meal was just shy of $70 (not including tip for *generously* mediocre service). I wasn't intending to, nor did I push back - I was just genuinely baffled, and curious. As expected, extra charges, bill was messed up. We don't eat fast food, so I don't say this lightly: a couple bites in, we both agreed we'd sincerely rather be eating Taco Bell. Would've saved $50.

We visited this place while staying in Grand Haven for a bowling tournament. We wanted Mexican and chose Arturo's because they had a parking lot (the other place we found only had street parking.) Lot was small, but easy to enter and leave. Arturo's is quaint with not a lot of seating. Decorated well without being too showy. Very, VERY clean. We chose to carry out because we thought that with the small amount of seating, it would be cramped. However, they were so fast in delivering food to customers, we realized that we would have done well eating in. Now ... the food! Freaking amazing. Pimp and I had the pick 3 dinner specials. For $13 you get rice and beans and 3 main items (i.e. tacos, tamales, etc) I chose a taco, tamale, and quesadilla. Pimp had all tacos. The beans and rice were seasoned to perfection. After filling up on my beans, I barely had room for the rest. I used my fingers to scrape the last bit of the beans out of the container. LOL (I could have just settled with the beans and rice.) But I braved it and dug into my chicken taco. We both agreed that the chicken was very well seasoned, moist, but not soggy. It was a good amount of it on the tacos without being too much. We were so full after the beans, rice, and tacos, we had to take a break for a siesta. I still got a tamale, and quesadilla left and Pimp had two tacos. But if we finished, this review would not get written. Buen trabajo, Arturo's. Lo has hecho muy bien. We'll be back after bowling tomorrow to get some of those beans to take home.
