    Vanilla Ice Cream

Went to Cravings Ice Cream on June 5 2024 Wednesday I had Vanilla Ice Cream it was Awesome Located at 389 Main Street Wakefield ma

This might just be the new dessert place to go to whenever I'm in Wakefield! Cravings is a cute, spacious shop that sells a variety of sweets ranging from soft-serve to coffee. Its interior is very retro and gives off that old school-esque atmosphere I've only ever seen in movies (or diners). They also offer a variety of candies (such as sour straws, candy cigarettes) as well as fine chocolates and truffles. The service is nice and prompt- the workers greet you the moment you step through the door. There is plenty of seating, ranging from booths to tables. I'm hooked on their mocha soft-serve. The first time we visited, we shared a small cup ($4.50) and that was enough to satisfy our sweet tooths. Its flavor is quite concentrated and its consistency is creamy and smooth. The second time I visited, I had their mochacinno soft-serve, which tasted just like their mocha soft-serve, but upped up a notch, and had vanilla swirls in it. So, so good! I'd definitely recommend either flavor if you're a fan of a strong coffee flavor. :- )

What a joke $5 and the cup isn't even full. I know prices are going up but I mean "really" the profits on ice cream are astronomical and the owner has his own machine. Never again. I'm going to Robertson and get better, cheaper, and more for my hard working $

So cool build an yogurt !! Lol

I can't believe all the different toppings ! So cool and I got to say I will totally be coming back very nice ppl run this place we were out saw it and said why the heck not !! Yes it it's that good plus they let you sample a little of the candy toppings as well we all sampled quite a bit I almost couldn't finish the yogurt but we did they have sweet and sour Legos so delishious that's what I sampled on my black raspberry yogurt and they have every flavour you can imagine it was the candy Heaven the candy that you haven't seen In A while like candy cigs ,? Nowhere has these penny candy a blast from the past right !! so my BFF got an root-beer frappe not bad we were all trying everything !! Untill we fealt so full we had to stop Not bad on price for ice cream with add-on's are a bit pricy everywhere but so worth it satisfies and you yogurt and candy In one !! Beat that Great parking located right on Wakefield square !!

Just had white chocolate macadamia nut. The nuts taste rancid (going bad). Skip this flavor.

They are allergy friendly. I mentioned a nut allergy and the staff member offered to open a new carton of ice cream to accommodate it, which I thought was very nice. They have every thing from ice cream to soft serve to slush to lattes. They even have homemade cookies and ice cream cakes. There creations are what makes them special - lattes, sundaes, tornadoes, nachos, stackables, etc. This is the only place where I've ever seen flavored soft serve like coffee, creamsicle, and pistachio etc. aside from the regular chocolate and vanilla. Watermelon dole whip aside from the pineapple. They also section to order from outside around the cornee (very easy to miss) and a small seating area next to it. Their ice cream is a bit too sweet for me, but I did enjoy the affogato which was soft serve and coffee. Their coffee tasted surprisingly good, so I will be back to try some of their very creative lattes. We also tried a stackable, which to me is a huge pre-made sundae. It is definitely a lot for one person and price is steeper at around $9-$12, but worth it if you want to share as there are a lot of creative options. I will also come back for some of their different flavored soft serve and the watermelon dole whip!

The prices are on the higher side for a local spot and they appear to serve Gifford's and a variety of ice cream products from different suppliers. The variety is worth the visit if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way. It's a busy shop, expect a line especially on weekends. My main complaint was how long it took to order, I came in with a friend and there were 3 groups in front of us but we waited 25 minutes. I understand it was busy but they seemed short staffed having to juggle the walk up window and the line inside the shop.
