I recently wrote a review giving this restaurant a 2 star and I stated in my review that I didn't feel good about the rating but after more than a few bad experiences I felt it was needed. I was contacted by someone named Vincent from the restaurant. He asked for my feedback and I let him know about my past few experiences. He thanked me and let me know he would be working closely with the kitchen. Shortly after our conversation ended he reached out back out and offered to remake my daughters food which she loved and I greatly appreciated. That customer service alone is greatly appreciated, especially when restaurants in today's climate do not value customer service or even their customers. Got the 2 lbs of crawfish with potatoes sausage and 2 boiled eggs as well as the shrimp both with garlic and honestly the shrimp was the best!! Went on a Sunday and only waited 25 minutes to be seated not bad!! Although every table was taken our server was patient and we never waited too long on anything. Then after waiting longer and receiving text that the food was ready I was told that it was not. This continued on a second time! I called to share this and they acted as if I never placed an order! It wasn't until I began to request a refund that my entire order magically appeared. Idk about the dine in services but those customers didn't look too pleased either. He was very polite and attentive, always stopped by to check on our table. it was a little busier than usual but he made sure our drinks were topped off. as far as the food! Well where do I start!! First and foremost don't let the name fool you! These guys specialize in much more than crawfish! Shrimp 5 stars (boiled and fried) chicken wings ( more on this in a second) 5 stars! Only negative thing I've had here is the crawfish egg rolls which sits at about 3 stars at best. Shrimp is phenomenal, I always get the signature blend! Same with crawfish I get the signature blends and it's amazing. It's not just flavor on top of the crawfish but bland meat, it's actually flavorful throughout!! Now the wings. I'm torn here because I've gotten their wings three times, always same flavor (salt and pepper) and it literally has tasted different each time!! DELICOUS don't get me wrong but different. Once was a salty peppery flavor as described, once was like a garlic flavor almost like the signature flavor and one kind of tangy lol I don't know. This place was recommended to me by my friends so I wanted to try it out. I ordered 1 pound of shrimp and crawfish. The shrimp was over cooked, I couldn't even peel the skin without meat getting stuck to it. But luckily the crawfish was cooked perfectly. The flavor is good, but I wish they put less lemon pepper or at least mixed it better because some bites would be straight lemon pepper which made it super sour. Also they charge .50 per butter, I have never had a place make you pay extra for butter. And the butter was not real butter, it was cream/milky butter which tasted weird. read more

I've been to this Crawfish Cafe since they first opened this location. It's always been really good and never really had any misses. Highly recommend the salt and pepper shrimp, the signature sauce (garlic butter and kickin Cajun I believe is the mix) with the boiled shrimp and the fried rice. The fried calamari is also really good! The only thing I do not recommend is the fried foods. I'm not the biggest fan of their breading, but that is just me. Others seem to enjoy it when I dine in. To-go is pretty standard and usually correct when I order online. They do get busy do crawfish season so expect a wait when wanting to dine in or takeout. My overall experience was great but what really stood out was the service that I received. I had Julianna as my server and she was absolutely AMAZING!! She was super sweet and very attentive even with all of the other tables that I saw her working. She happily and patiently answered all of my questions and explained the different items on the menu to help me choose what I wanted. The food came out fast and fresh. It was impeccable! The fries were soooo good. Not the thin shoestring fries but not the thick ones either, they were amazing and crispy. The garlic noodles were okay, more like a slightly garlic Alfredo than actual garlic noodles. I wish the crawfish had more sauce but it was more lightly tossed and didn't have sauce at the bottom of the bowl. BUT it was a bit salty so if there was lots of sauce I'm sure it would've been saltier. We came kind of late but the service was still pretty good and the music was bumpin. This restaurant is located inside a mall but I wouldn't underestimate it. Overall I would recommend those to try it out and go during crawfish season! read more

I am so thrilled that the best crawfish in Houston is now closer to me. YAY! If you are craving for Cajun food, look no further. They have the best crawfish flavor (I love the grail mix - garlic butter + thai basil) and the one thing I love about Crawfish Café is that they have other food options besides boiled seafood. I love their salt & pepper wings (so crunchy and flavorful), gumbo, fried seafood platter, and tamarind blue crabs. Next time, I will try their whole fried flounder. I am very picky where I choose to dine out during COVID-19, but Crawfish Café definitely takes precautions to make their customers feel comfortable. Tables were spaced out for social distancing, all employees had on gloves/masks, QR code for menu, hand sanitizer at every table, and at the end of our meal, they gave us hand wipes.
