Crawfish is hot and the seasoning is spicy. Been hard to find a place to purchase crawfish so if in the area give this place a try.

Despite it was a bit expensive, we enjoyed it. The taste was on point and it did make us crave carbs with it. We ordered extra garlic noodles and some cheese bread. We liked all the seafood on there except the crab legs. The crab legs were too salty and you could tell it was previously frozen. Wish we didn't order the combo that came with it. I recommend ordering a combo with what you like and add addition crawfish, shrimp or mussels to it if you're not a fan of crab legs. It probably will be cheaper considering the crab legs were the most expensive part of the combo. Service was good, but they were super busy so we did flag them down a few times. I recommend!

Tray with everything in it! So good!

Crawfish Chef has large seating areas and was able to accommodate our party. The servers were nice and checked on us a few times, which was great because we ordered a few more pounds of shrimp and crawfish on top of our tray. Their house sauce was delicious. I tasted both the mild and hot sauce and loved them both. The restaurant is well maintained, including the bathroom. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves and will be bringing our families back here.

THEY HAVE FRESH CRAWFISH for only 3/15-17!!!!! The fresh ones which were Air-shipped from Louisiana. The 5Lb crawfish combo is only $59, my friends and I love the Lemon Pepper flavor better than the house special one. Highly recommend anyone who love crawfish to give a try. I think it tastes the SAME as LIVE crawfish which I had in China. Hope they could always have LIVE CRAWFISH It's totally totally totally different from the regular ones they sell in store which are frozen (and CHEAPER!!!)

Listen . Don't cheat on your seafood boil place. Don't get me wrong it's really cute in there. From the booths to the tables really cute. The staff really isn't that interactive (meaning) they won't really come over to your table to see if you need a refill or anything else you may need. But let's get into why y'all really read my posts: Combo 3 ( shrimp & crab) $65.00 Combo 5 ( shrimp , crawfish and crab) $81.00 Yes both come with corn and potatoes ( eggs are extra) if you want the head off your shrimp it's a$6.00 charge . After that $15.50 tax i paid a total of $170.50 ooops forgot to add 2 sodas ( and i bet you're going too be like they got apps ) WROOOOOOONG the proof will be posted below ! Let's get into the food: shrimp& crab a little over cooked . The crawfish was previously frozen. I am talking like we were fighting our food to get the seafood out of the shells. Something I've never had to do. When i mean like fight for your life i mean like it's the 4th quarter you have the ball 4 secs left on the clock. That's what i mean. I know reciepts is worth more than my word so enjoy! ( yes there was 2 of us) Food: 5.5/10 Service: 3/10 Ambiance: 8/10

Ask the Community - Crawfish Chef

Is the crawfish here fresh or frozen?

    Frozen

Do they sell just steamed shrimp by the pound?

I think everything is boiled but they had a by the pound market price dry erase board up on the wall.

I couldn't remember the name of the place, but we found it: The Fish Peddler! We must have arrived at a perfect interval because there was a table for two that had just been bussed and ready for us near the large counter in the back where food was collected by servers and presented to hungry patrons at any of the 30-40 tables. Our server was genuinely warm and delightful and guided us to the menu and the on-line beer on tap information. Drinks were ordered and delivered in minutes - just enough time for us to announce our selections: A 3-piece halibut and chips for her, and for me, the albacore tuna with spring greens and gouda cheese on sourdough with a pint of I'm Not Afraid Of Music. It had the lowest alcohol content, and since I was driving, didn't want to push my luck. When our huge white dinner plates arrived - oh - did I mention the amazing jalapeño coleslaw? - we were amazed at the size of the perfectly deep fried halibut - which, on their own, provide a good bite, making only a smitten of tartar sauce necessary because you gotta have tartar sauce with fried fish, after all, right? I picked up one my sandwich haves and removed the toothpick with too much gusto and suffered a small splinter that I couldn't remove until I got home a couple of hours later with the help of a magnifying glass, a tweezer and some masking tape. But I ignored the splinter while I enjoyed my "this is NOT your mom's - or HER mom's - Tuna melt". The perfect balance of the albacore spread with the gouda showing up gloriously in almost every bite, the pillowy and cool greens and tomato slice that balanced the heat from the albacore between the two lightly toasted sourdough was my Valentine's Day gift to my mouth. We were stuffed, but not defeated - we ordered our cheesecake to go, and I get to have the last piece of halibut for a snack later on! It was great getting re-acquainted with This cozy, fun, busy restaurant since our last (and first) visit 3 years ago. My only regret is that for some unknown but surely inexcusable reason, I had waited three years before returning. Won't happen again.

This is a casual place, but the food is quality. We got the fish and chips, which were perfectly crispy. The black cod miso was superb. Very fresh and light and flaky and flavorful. We also got the lobster roll. It definitely rivals a lobster roll from the east coast. The service was great. They took care of everything well. This isn't fancy, but it's just a good seafood place for friends, business or families.

The food was amazing but definitely recommend eating it as soon as possible as the fries, fried fish, hot wings, and banana pudding was pretty soggy when we arrived home. But besides that, the food was good but as someone who hates soggy texture, definitely will be eating it right after I get it. This is also where I first tried a Faygo and I was hooked as it complimented the meal so well, I got the red pop flavor. The service here during when I arrived was friendly. They seemed to be busy too so they were trying to get orders going and out, not much conversation. Although understandably so as they seem to be a local favorite and have many regulars coming in. We were out celebrating my buddy's birthday today, and started out next door for some smokes and drinks. I had a plan for some choices for his bday dinner, and he opted with Ms. Jane's inside BJ's Casino. First off... this place is very elegant with a fine dining experience. Secondly, Cassandra was absolutely superb!! We all thoroughly had an amazing experience, from the drinks, appetizers, to our entrees, and the service. The Lavender Martini was top notch, and we also ordered the White Mojito. That mojito was crisp and refreshing! Two spectacular cocktails. As for our meals, undeniably unbelievable!! I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye, with Garlic Potatoes and crisp Broccolini. So crisp and a unique almost vinaigrette flavoring, with a subtle spice. As a side, we ordered the Thousand Layer Potato. My first time ever having this, but seen how it was made on a video. Simply divine. My wife ordered the Braised Bison over Polenta, with some Carrots. This is the tastiest Bison we've ever had!! We finished the evening with a Dubai Chocolate Fudge Sunday, and Cassandra gave us each a spoon to share in this decadence. Needless to say, my buddy had an incredible day of celebration! Turns out it's the former, at least in atmosphere. The service was genuinely lovely from start to finish. The host, server, and table assistants were warm and attentive. No notes there. We went with the ribeye prix fixe, which felt like the obvious call given that Ms. Jane's has built its reputation around it. The menu included a salad, two ribeyes with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and dessert for $150 plus wine. The salad was beautiful and delicious. It just could've used some cheese, and I will die on that hill. The mashed potatoes were legitimately outstanding and nearly redeemed the entire evening on their own. The broccoli was fine. Broccoli is always just fine. Then there were the ribeyes. They were enormous, beautifully presented, and unfortunately not much else. Both cuts had an excessive amount of fat and lacked the depth of flavor you'd expect from a restaurant that's staked its identity on this one dish. We make better steaks at home, which is not something you want to be thinking about after dropping $150 before wine. Dessert closed things out on a high note. A chocolate and vanilla mousse topped with genuinely delicate whipped cream. In the moment we told ourselves we'd come back and try something else. A few days of reflection later, that enthusiasm cooled but it didn't disappear entirely. The service was too good, the mashed potatoes too memorable, and the mousse too solid to write the place off completely. Ms. Jane's clearly has something going on. We just hope the ribeye isn't the thing they're most proud of.

This restaurant has been one of my favorite places for the past two years. I've celebrated birthdays and anniversaries here, and I've recommended it to countless friends and family because the food and service have always been excellent. Unfortunately, my visit today was very different. My friend and I came in for lunch, and our server, Amanda, was noticeably inattentive despite the restaurant being nearly empty. She took our drink menu before we had finished looking at it, and my friend had to get up and find her to ask for it back. Throughout the meal, it was difficult to get her attention. When our food arrived, I asked for the lemon I ordered because they forgot it which is not a big deal to me they usually forget my lemon when I visit. She quickly dropped it off and walked away before I could order drinks. We then had to ask a second time just to place our drink order. The bigger issue was the food. Both seafood boils were lacking flavor, and mine seemed unusually watery, as though excess water hadn't been drained before the seasoning and butter were added. Since two seafood boils cost well over $100, I politely asked if there was any way to add more seasoning. I was respectful and apologetic because I genuinely dislike complaining about food. Amanda interrupted me before I could finish explaining and told me they couldn't add seasoning, only provide a side of seasoned butter. That would have been fine, I simply wanted a solution, but being cut off and met with an eye roll felt extremely rude and unprofessional. She then suggested the watery consistency was caused by the extra corn I ordered. I order extra corn every time I visit and have never experienced this issue before. After that interaction, she largely avoided our table. When she eventually boxed our leftovers, she immediately dropped off the check and walked away again. Upon reviewing the bill, I noticed I had been charged for the side of seasoned butter that was provided as the solution to the flavor issue. When I asked about it, Amanda explained that I was charged because I had ordered an extra side of seasoned butter. However, I hadn't ordered it as an addition to my meal, it was offered as the fix for food that she herself acknowledged was watered down. When I expressed that I felt it was inappropriate to charge a customer for the remedy to a quality issue, she responded that she could ask a manager to remove the charge if I wanted. By that point, I was very frustrated that this was even a charge in the first place and offered to just pay and leave. She quickly walked away and just removed the charge without consulting the manager like she previously mentioned which I found to be odd. This is the first negative experience I've had here, which makes it especially disappointing. I've always loved this restaurant and have recommended it to many people over the years. Sadly, after today's food and service experience, I'll likely be looking elsewhere for future celebrations and gatherings with friends and family. I've included some photos of the many visits my friends and family have had here over the years for lunch, birthdays, anniversary celebrations, etc. Please work on your customer service.
