Crawford's helped me get a refund and did the wiring the way it was supposed to be done. No issues there either. Break jobs and tire rotations....and on and on. The kind of repair facility you need in your life. They don't bullsh*t you and they give you realistic options for repairs. Even better, they are smart and know how to think outside of the box when it comes to your repair needs. For example, I have a flex fuel sensor that is bad on my truck, however my truck not even a flex fuel vehicle (it was a feature added in later models). The bad sensor is causing the Check Engine light to be on even though my vehicle runs perfectly fine without the sensor. So why not just replace the sensor? Because its $873 for the part alone and totally unnecessary for my vehicle. So how do I to get the Check Engine light off for my emission renewal this year? Well Crawford's had a plan for that and it was half the cost of the traditional repair. Big win in my book. Plus there is the added bonus that as a female I can walk into a car shop and feel like I am being treated right. That's been my pet peeve at a lot of other places. I grew up around cars and my dad is a service manager back home. I know a thing or two, so not being jerked around the moment I walk in the door as a female is all good. Had a couple of minor problems: engine secondary cooling fan would not stop running, and right rear turn signal was inop. Joe kept me informed as to the relays needed to fix the cooling fan, and the grounded wire that caused the turn signal to fail. Both problems fixed by the following afternoon. Decided to give Crawfords a try since Ive been a bit unsatisfied with my regular repair shop overcharging me. Guess what? Ive find my new"regular repair shop"! Really great honest guys working here. They got me in at my scheduled time and completed on time. They didnt try to up sell me. Gave me fair repair quotes on the things i asked for a quote. I stayed till repairs were done. Couch is more comfy than it looks. Oh and Brad....get some lady magezines for us girls! Lol Emberressing moment....i went to pay with my debit card and it wasn't in my wallet. Ah! No really i want trying to pull a fast one. I had ordered a pizza the night before and left my card on the table. They let me leave the shop with an ankle monitoring device.....no not really, they were cool. I ran home and got the card and to their happy suprise i returned to pay. I love these guys!!! They where so friendly and helpful .. They quoted me the cheapest price out of 9 other shops.. I had a fuel pump leak so this can get kind of expensive but these guys where the best.. They where able to get my car in that day no wait .. They even inspected my car for other problems free of charge. They gave me a ride home again free if charge and I live in tempe and they also picked me up when my car was ready. Along with the fuel pump replacement they also fixed my headlight that had been giving me trouble and replaced several of my lug nuts because I was missing a few.. My car failed the Emissions Test. It is an older vehicle, so something could be wrong. Went to Midas first, but apparently they have been gone for years. Decided to inquire at Crawfords. I'm glad I did. They confirmed that my car is functioning properly and that they had another customer who had the same issue - apparently one of the lanes had bad equipment. They pinpointed a noise to three contributing factors: a rock in the tire, a roof rack bolt, and something in the sun roof. I love how detail-oriented these guys are. I got my strut assembly replaced here a month and a half ago. I noticed a slight noise when turning my wheels afterwards. I brought it back in when I had a chance about 3.5 weeks later. They said my inner tie rods need to be replaced and that one was really bad. They said it was a completely different component then the struts. I was reading about them after I left and it says that it's rare these break unless you are in a accident. So I then emailed them on their website telling them that they are rarely broken and asking if the inner tie rods are touched when changing the strut assembly. I never received a response to that email. This was my first time coming here so I do not trust them right away, especially when I hear a new noise and require a new expensive repair right after getting serviced there. I will not be going back here. read more

The chain was going to do two things to fix my car that would have been around $1000. Decided to try Crawford instead. Awesome! They are usually by appointment only but I had a cover hanging off the bottom of my car dragging on the street and making a horribly embarrassing noise everywhere I went. They quickly got me in and out with time to spare on my lunch break. I went to them based on the other good reviews and I have to agree, this is an honest mechanic not looking to gouge you on prices and stuff you don't need. They will be my go-to for everything car-related from now on. Also, they had candy at the front desk, might just be a Halloween thing, but I always appreciate free candy. And it was good candy. Still a great place. Excellent work. Very honest about what you need and what you don't need. I have a car with a prepaid maintenance plan. After the oil change the dealership wanted me to schedule$500 of additional work. When I talked to Joe, it came down to maybe a brake fluid flush for $130. And adding a bottle of fuel injection cleaner to the gas tank. We have been going there for years and we are always happy. read more
