Been on my radar for a while. Finally got the chance to visit and I must say it did not disappoint. I ordered to go but you can dine in. Its not a big place but its nice and clean. The service is also great. I ordered the seafood boil platter which came with 2lbs of crawfish, snow crab, sub the dungeoness for snow crab and 1lb of shrimp. Also included corn, sausage, potatoes but I added boiled eggs and turkey neck. I also ordered a 6in shrimp poboy. Let me just saw that snow crab came out like king crabs they were hugggeeee. I love it here. The food is always good! But it is busy so sometimes it's crowded but they move pretty fast. My only complaint would be the flies. The last time I went they were all over the place. Guys, it's crawfish season!!! This is my favorite place so far. I love the bold flavor options and the various seafood combos, but my go-to is the crawfish with a mix of Viet Cajun butter and Spicy Garlic butter. It's soooo good! The price is reasonable for the market right now, although you know that everything costs more these days unfortunately. It's currently $8.99/pound of crawfish for the flavor options (as of March 17, 2026). 3 Corn cobs and 4 potatoes are $3 extra for each option. The cashier is helpful and friendly, too. Came on a Monday afternoon for lunch. We got The Royal Feast, 15lbs of boiled crawfish, 4 big links of sausage, 6 corn and 8 potatoes. Everything was well seasoned, hot and fresh. Tuan the manager brought us all 3 of their specialty butters, a Viet Cajun, garlic butter and their house seasoned butter. I could have drank them they were so good. The service was good and the cashier was very nice. The food however was very underwhelming and I unfortunately don't understand the hype. My mom and I spent around $72 on 2 pounds of crawfish, bang bang shrimp roll, turkey neck, the beef and shrimp yakamein, bag of cheewees, and 2 drinks. The crawfish tasted like black pepper no spice JUST PEPPER. The turkey neck was tough the flavor on the neck was good tho. The bang bang shrimp tasted like straight mayonnaise. The yakamein lacked flavor until I put extensive amounts of soy sauce. The only good thing were the bottles of coke and cheewees. The place was crowded but I don't get why. read more

Pretty tasty food. We bought relatives here from San Jose, CA for the Raiders game and they raved about the food. We pass here quite a bit and never tried it until they visited and I was pleased with the quality of the food. The gumbo was very decent, bursting with flavor and the po boys I heard were really good. I didn't indulge the po boys. I'm selective and don't eat one everywhere. Parkway and Short Stop so far are my favorites. However, the service was great here and there are tables inside to dine in. They also bring your food to your table. My friend recommended this restaurant to me for their seafood boil. I'm a California native trying crawfish boil in NOLA for the first time. The service was excellent - came here 20 minutes to closing and Thai was so accommodating allowing us to dine in and stay past closing. I appreciate his friendliness and consideration. He checked on us frequently and encouraged us to take our time. The food was just the way I like it... garlic!! There was the option for traditional crawfish but I just had to have the garlic. Crawfish tasted fresh and flavor was excellent with a hint of spice. The flavor is all in the sauce! Next time I'll try traditional. My second time visiting Louisiana from California and our son who lives here brought us to Crawlins. We ordered, chicken parmasian wings, lemon pepper chicken wings, the roast beef po boy sandwich were delicious, the gravy and all the dressings perfect sandwich. Chicken gumbo is so yummy. This was my 2nd time visiting this place and each time the food has been good and the service was good. This time though the service was exceptional. So my experience gets better with each visit. So far I've had their gumbo, po boys, crawfish, and boiled shrimps. As a Nola native I rarely like restaurant gumbo. I prefer homemade usually. But this gumbo was really good. I'm so glad I tried it. It's definitely on par with what I expect gumbo to taste like. Super flavorful with a kick. Their boiled seafood is also really good. I'm disappointed to have to leave this review, but the bug we found in our food (see photos) and the subsequent service warrants it. We have family in town for Mardi Gras and ordered Crawlins for lunch. We enjoyed the meal so we ordered even more the next day for dinner. While gleefully munching on the crab legs and sucking the crawfish heads of my Dungeness crab boil, I pulled out what I thought was some kind of vegetable. My stomach turned when I realized what it was: A fully cooked BIG bug. The verdict's out on what kind. One of my relatives insists that it's a cockroach. I showed the family and that was the end of dinner. We were disgusted. We tried calling Crawlins, but by this time they were closed. So on the day before Mardi Gras I had to rearrange our plans to present Crawlins with the bug, our huge uneaten meal, and the receipt. I got there as soon as they opened, explained what happened to the cashier. He was apologetic and thanked me for being so calm and reasonable because I could have "chewed [him] out." He asked if we wanted them to remake everything or get a refund. I requested the refund and he grabbed the manager. The manager came out with such hostility that I had to ask if he was okay. He apologized saying, "There's a lot going on." He had me explain again what happened. I showed him the photos and he said, "I'm sorry. This keeps happening. It's not the first time we've found bugs." He then calls someone and afterwards tells the cashier to refund me. By this time, I've been there at least 20 minutes. The cashier goes to run the refund and asks for the card. My relative picked it up and had paid with Apple Pay. He says we'll need her phone to run the refund which is weird because we know this is a transaction you don't need the phone to process. So now I have to wake her up on vacation, leave Crawlins, pick her up, and come back to Crawlins. We do all this (are now missing plans on our itinerary) only to get there and be told that the system will only allow a cash refund and if they give us the refund they might not have enough cash for the customers the rest of the day. We'll have to wait for the general manger to come and process the Apple Pay refund. She wasn't there, but she might be in 30 minutes. Why couldn't the general manager bring them more change instead of having polite customers who found a bug in their food wait even longer for a refund??? Why after you told them to leave would you have them leave and return again? I'll never know. I had to send other family members whose plans were more flexible BACK to Crawlins to get it processed. It was such an ordeal. If they had done what they could to minimize the harm, I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. But this was egregious. TL;DR Found a huge bug in our food. Manager says it's happened more than once. Getting a refund was hard. read more

I stopped in this weekend to visit my parents for Easter. We were nearby at Oakwood mall when I came across reviews for this place, so I figured we'd check it out. We were NOT disappointed. Everything was fresh, made to order, and the staff were pleasant and attentive. (They even brought our food to our table.) There were a few tables for dining in and the place was kept very clean. I had a shrimp poboy and my wife had the fish platter, which she loved. My daughter had the seafood gumbo, and the boys had a mix of different sandwiches (and a wrap) which they were all very pleased with when asked.
