Literally put two shrimp on each side!!! That's 8 shrimp on a whole half of a sandwich

Ordered a shrimp poboy literally had 16 shrimp like they counted the shrimp and put two next to each other... I hate hooks bc this isn't the first time they were skimp on the shrimp...

It was a late Friday night and I couldn't find anywhere to get something seafood so I wanted to try this spot out for the first time. I had the oyster poboy which wasn't all that great because of the oysters. I'm not sure the oysters are local but around this time of year they're suppose to be big nice sizes. The oysters were small and the bread definitely not the french bread that I'm using to having a poboy on. Also the price was a bit on the high side for what it's worth. I won't be coming back for there are other locally owned shops that are better.

Hook's shrimp salad, with ranch dressing. I added the lentils, and wine (not from that other store, I reviewed.. ).. ..

When you look at the place, you won't expect the quality of food that comes out of it. This is the "don't judge a book, by its cover", portion of life's lessons. Delicious, fresh, and friendly customer service, even more notable, as it was late in the evening, lol.

Was craving a poboy so I decided to give this place a try as it is on my way to my mom's house. I got my order to go. It is a small place, so ai cannot comment on dine in but it was very clean and modern. I ordered the 6 in shrimp poboy with fries. I took about 7 minutes and that is fine because the shrimp were fresh hot and crunchy and the fries were hot and crisp. Shrimp are nice sized too and the batter was tasty. The bread is the perfect blend of soft and crisp like a real poboy should be. I am really enjoying my poboy right now and would definitely order here again.

I just ordered here and my order was $62.16. My bank text me alerts and they charged me $74.59. I talked to someone and they told me it must have been my bank but I shopped at 2 different places right before and those places did not overcharge. They did not try to remy the problem. Be aware when you come here.

Not only for me, but for everyone that was in there that I noticed. Food was fresh and hot and the restaurant was actually clean. I know many establishments have gone through a bunch of hiccups, but it seems as though this one has figured themselves out. Definitely my go-to spot for wings!

Everything was cooked well and not soggy or over cooked. It was seasoned good. Got large cajun corn and triple meal deal which has 6 classic, 6 boneless and 2 tenders with large fries. I chose lemon pepper for classic, hot honey rub for boneless and the meltdown for the tenders. Tenders were nice and crispy. Wings could've been crispier but that's my fault since I forgot to ask for well done. Everything was good though in terms of flavor. I don't really like their fries too much so I can't say much about those. They're pretty basic. And I love the cajun corn! It's flavorful and I'd definitely get that over the fries. Gotta get some of their ranch to go with everything. It's a perfect dip. Overall, shoutout to the crew working when I ordered (3/22) about 3:30PM for having my order packed correctly and and food cooked on time and done well. I had wingstop here in the past and wasn't impressed but today redeemed that visit.

When visiting New Orleans, we stumbled across The Rum House and got curious. With a name like that,…read moreI figured they had to know rum, so we decided to give it a try. Luckily, we arrived during happy hour. We started with the tuna ceviche, which was half off. At only $8, it was an incredible value. The fish tasted very fresh, clean, and was beautifully presented. My only complaint was that it needed a little more lime and salt to really make the flavors pop. I'd absolutely order it again at happy hour, but at full price I'd hope for a little more seasoning. For drinks, we tried several. The Rum Punch didn't disappoint. It reminded me of a Hurricane but without the heavy grenadine flavor, which I personally prefer. Next was a creamy white rum cocktail with a pineapple garnish (I can't remember the name). It was surprisingly strong, which I loved since rum is usually a softer spirit. It was just a little sweeter than my taste, so I probably wouldn't order it again. The star of the night was the Piña Colada. It was honestly one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't overly sweet, had an incredibly smooth, creamy texture, and was topped with whipped cream and a rum floater that was absolutely perfect. They told me it's double blended, and whatever they're doing works. My only complaint? No maraschino cherry! I'm sorry, but a piña colada just isn't complete without one. One thing to keep in mind is that piña coladas tend to drink more like dessert than a strong cocktail. I had two and barely caught a buzz, but honestly I didn't care because they were that good. We also sampled the White Peach Sangria, and to me it tasted very similar to Moscato. If you're a Moscato fan, you'll probably love it. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Between the happy hour deals, the rum cocktails, and especially that piña colada, The Rum House is absolutely worth a visit. The piña colada would be the first thing I'd order again.

Beef patties were kinda weird as they tasted like they had curry or something, not too bad. This is coming from an actual Trini.
