You walk in to pick up your order and they have tables blocking the entry, that's where you pay for your food. The portions are still as giant as ever, and the prices are still affordable. My wife and I had a hankering the other day for our old stomping grounds, so we jetted over there to pickup an order. It was ready in 10 minutes and two meals ran us $32. I think I pay $32 for a good cup of coffee these days!!!!!! I kid, I kid. The meal lasts you for days, you really get two giant sized portions out of it. It will probably last some of you three days. They don't skimp out here and it's incredible. They serve Asian fusion, Chinese American meals that are addictive. Or is that the MSG??? Probably so, and that's why it's delicious. It's very, very expensive for what you get. Dumplings that were basically the same size and quality as ones I ate all over Japan for $4-$7 were over $14 here. A pretty small plate of stir fried green beans being around $20 was kinda hard to justify. The only dishes we really didn't care for were the Chinese Style Broccoli, which was pretty plain and lacked flavor, and the Pork & Mushroom Dumplings. They tasted good, but they were dry enough that I probably wouldn't order them again. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner and would definitely come back, but probably only for a special occasion. The food and experience were great, but the pricing keeps it from being a place we'd visit regularly or for a casual night out.

Since both styles of the pork were prepared differently, I cannot say one is better than the other: they were both delicious. The crunchiness and the flavorful from the roasted pork, as well as the aroma and the soft chewy from the barbecue pork, brings this dining experience to the next level. We also ordered the yu stir fry choy sum in garlic, the combination fried rice, and salt and pepper shrimp. I highly recommend the yu choy and shrimp dishes. I would skip the fried rice and get their beef chow fun, which is exactly what my other group of 6 did. In addition to what were mentioned above, they ordered Chinese broccoli, daikon and beef in clay pot, Taishan five spice duck, salted fish & chicken fried rice. Everyone enjoyed their food and dining experience here. Conversations were easily understood and heard. When asked what their favorite dish was, all of us said we liked everything, but when pressed to give one special dish, several folks mentioned the roasted pork, the clay pot, and the salt and pepper shrimp. Service here was excellent. The manager was very accommodating to our large group of diners, coming back and making sure we are doing fine as he refilled our water glasses. We just finished eating here after arriving at the Denver airport. We were looking for something fast and yummy before our long drive home. We were a little worried at first because it is older and kind of dive looking. However, after looking at the selection, we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered orange chicken, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, egg drop soup, lo mein, rice and donuts. All 5 of us LOVED every single dish! In the hum drum, mediocre world that seems to be plaguing the Asian food market, this place exceeded our expectations completely. The other awesome thing was that it was cheap! Only down side would be the restrooms were old and seemed dirty but that is probably due to the age of the place. read more

You gotta keep in mind that this place is Chinese Fast Food. It's not a buffet, it's not a restaurant, it's fast food and nothing else. That being said, it's better than Panda Express in every way I can think of except one: they only have one location. Portions are good, price is low, quality is honestly much better than I would have expected. There's quite a bit of variety, and it's fast and easy. I go there a couple times a month, and I don't think I've tried everything just yet. Coming from a Chinese person, this place is definitely worth checking out. read more
