    Chicken enchiladas

I visited Crazy Burrito on a Friday evening just after 6:00 when happy hour ends. Everyone cleared out after actually and we missed the $1.99 chips and salsa by 3 minutes but no biggie! We ordered the green chili chicken enchiladas, and the Birria tacos were flavorful and I could only eat one and tried the enchilada but it lacked flavor as did the refined beans and rice. Totally bland. We had to ask for service when we arrived but once thy noticed us we were quickly served. I don't think I will be returning as nothing from the experience is calling me back and there are tons of Mexican restaurants to try nearby.

We waited over 20 minutes for our food, even though we only ordered four items.. just tacos and a sope. That felt like a long wait for such a small order. As for the food, it might be as close to authentic Mexican as you'll get in Tampa. The asada tacos and sope weren't your typical asada if you're familiar with traditional Mexican flavors, but for this area, they're pretty good. There isn't much truly Mexican food around here that hasn't been Americanized or influenced by other cuisines. The salsas weren't spicy at all, and the green ones didn't have much flavor, which was a bit disappointing. As a Mexican, I'd still recommend this spot if you're craving something more traditional, but I wouldn't call it fully authentic. Based on what I tried, I'd give it a 6/10.

Super great spot if you're craving a large burrito in a pinch! Stopped in for a take-out order and ended up ordering the steak burrito and horchata. The service was super quick and there were a few people dining in. The interior is pretty humble, but don't be fooled, the food is delicious! Food: The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauces were a great addition to the burrito. I was a little surprised to see refried beans since the menu didn't say they were refried. Drink: Get. The. Horchata. It was so, so yummy! Perfect cinnamon rice flavor and it was a pretty large serving. Didn't disappoint. Will definitely be returning!

We've been searching for a good California Burrito all over Tampa and found it! Ask for extra verde salsa because it was so good we ran out of it! The carne asada was tender and juicy. Super quick service and easy parking. We will be back to try breakfast burritos! Coming from Arizona where the mexican food is best (imo), this place compared the most to our fav spots out west!

If you're pooking for great tasting, authentic Mexican food, for a great price, this is the spot. I got the Chimichanga Burrito and it was gigantic. The taste was great and the hot sauces added the perfect touch. Great service and local. Definitely check them out.

@crazyburrito_tampa - Tampa, FL I love Mexican food, and the Crazy Burrito is a really good quick spot to get some quality classics. Their birria consommé is as good as it comes, and that's coming from someone who isn't huge into the birria craze! The burrito is a really good way to go over the taco in my opinion. It's much more filling and juicy. If you aren't licking your fingers after each bite, you aren't doing it right. Don't sleep on their tacos though as it doesn't seem like you could go wrong either direction you decide. The food scene in Tampa is just suberp!

I always make a pit stop here whenever I am in town! The place is run down but it's the best place to get birria tacos. It's loaded with shredded beef and the most authentic it can get. Worth the price and will always come back! Service was quick and you were in and out. We love how they even come with a big squeeze bottle of salsa verde.

Food was really good, even with having it delivered. Usually delivery food is not great by the time it gets to you, but everything except for the fries held up well. I got the taco salad and it was very tasty, but it was super light on the lettuce. My BF got a burrito and it was gigantic and also very good. Definitely would try Crazy Burrito again.

Crazy Burrito is crazy delicious! I came across one of their locations in a gas station off 54 only to later learn that there were multiple locations and that I could get one of these scrumptious concoctions delivered right to my classroom - and that's exactly what I did! I got the steak burrito and a Mandarin Jarritos. This lunch absolutely HIT the spot. The best part? They're not expensive! This place makes authentic Mexican food at a price that you will barely notice come out of your bank account. Can't wait to indulge in another burrito from these guys!

Had the pleasure of visiting this authentic Mexican restaurant in Tampa. This place is a definite hit . Delicious and Savory Mexican plates and refreshing drinks. Very few places can be said to be authentic. This place has it for sure. Thank you Rafael (restaurant owner) and Staff for your hospitality and welcoming attentiveness. Will be back for sure.

Steak was dry and, chorizo was just not good. For basically $4 per taco definitely not worth it.

Arriving hungry, we stopped in here. The decor was well out together with a various arrangement of seating options. They were out of topo chico so opted for a seltzer water. I ordered tacos and elotes both of which came out fast and or so good! My dining companion ordered the Tijuana salad with steak which was massive and came out with a perfectly cooked medium rare flank steak on too. The salad was exactly the Caesar salad twist I expected with the hand prepped original dressing and addition of the elotes on top. Definitely worth a try if you're craving mexican in the area.

Luckily, there are quite a few solid dining options at this property including Lona. When I saw that they had a modern Mexican menu and delicious sounding cocktails, I decided to grab a seat at the bar. The service was quick and the bartender was very friendly, offering suggestions on the menu when I asked. I started with the passion picante cocktail which was like a spicy passionfruit margarita made with Teremana tequila. For my entree, I got the quesabirria with the consommé dipping sauce and it was spectacular. It's only of the most popular dishes on their menu and I can see why. I also tried the cucumber mezcalita which was a great nightcap if you enjoy Mezcal. I was so stuffed after that, but I got a slice of the tres leches cake to-go. It's a gorgeous dessert and I ate it for breakfast the next morning. It was amazing!

We're never made to feel like we're simply customers walking through the door. Nos reciben como familia, and that makes all the difference. There's something special about having a place where you can sit down, order your favorites, have a margarita (obviamente), and immediately feel at home. Great food, great vibes, even better people. I made an OpenTable reservation for 7 pm thinking it would be busy on a Friday night, but the…read morerestaurant was basically empty. Despite the lack of a crowd the service was still slow! We were sat at a high top table and it took almost 20 minutes before our waiter came to the table. Another hostess actually came by with waters and apologized for the wait before our waiter came to take our order. My partner and I ordered the table side guac, 3 street tacos, and a steak enchilada. We also ordered a Pacifico beer and my partner got a passion fruit iced margarita (slushee). When the waiter brought the drinks it was a completely different margarita. My partner ordered the drink with tajin and the other margarita came out with salt. That was the first giveaway that this was about to be a bad experience. The table side guac was disappointing. I'd had it 4 years prior and was excited but it just didn't live up to how I remember it. He gave us the option for mild medium and spicy - we chose medium but it had no spice in it at all. We had to ask for more salt because it wasn't salty enough. The avocados were not ripe, and he didn't use any lime juice. And finally, towards the end of the meal I was chewing and part of the avocado peel was still in the guac. Quite an unpleasant surprise. The steak enchilada was okay. The steak was a little tough and I think the cheese on the enchilada was melted mozzarella - it was similar to pizza...as an enchilada... My partner thought the street tacos were okay but for the price point of $25, probably not worth the cost. All entrees come with beans and white rice - I needed to add salt to mine, but it was fine. The table seated behind us was very close to us and we could hear their entire conversation. The guy specifically said "I never eat the side of rice and beans here because it's not very good". The service was okay. Our waiter was very low energy and rather muted for an early Friday night. It's possible he had a long shift or a long day, so I'm willing to cut him some slack, but in the service industry, I think I'd appreciate a positive attitude. This dude clearly did not want to be on the clock. Finally, the restaurant didn't notify OpenTable that I arrived for my reservation so now I have to explain to OpenTable that I did actually attend and I wasn't a "no-show" for the reservation. Bit of a waste of my time. I came because I heard Westshore is closing and was hoping for a fun date night with my partner. I'm glad to know I'll never be going back and I probably shouldn't have tipped 20%.
