The food here is great! Finally a decent option in Beaver other than Wendy's or Subway. I had the Malibu chicken sandwich and loved it. I had the apple crisp for desert and it was also very good! On the other hand, the service here was terrible at the beginning. It took us at least 5 minutes to be seated and there was no one in front of us and plenty of seats available. Crazy Cow Cafe is kind of hard to find, but well worth the effort. Take exit 112 and take a left. Just after the freeway, look to your left. Great food, friendly staff. Jennifer obviously loves her job. Could use better signage at the exit, as well as the stuff back up the freeway. Would love to see some Crazy Cow Cafe themed items, other than the T's and hoodies. Travis our server was attentive, friendly and took great care of us. The Crazy Cow has a great menu and you should really try the Rodeo Burger and get the onion pedals. After discovering that the businesses around here, the Super8 motel, close at 8:00, no ordering of pizza, Wendy's etc..we decided to drive and hope for the best. Found crazy cow right away. Okay food off of I 15 much better then fastfood. The service was adequate but, not too friendly. The servers seemed annoyed by the fact we had children ( who ordered off adult menu and were well behaved). They were also slow to serve us or greet us for that matter. Went here due to staying at the hotel next door - really good food! I had the brandin iron cheese steak. Plenty of peppers and onions cooked al dente and shaved meat. Hubby got the chicken fried steak with white gravy, asparagus, mashed potatoes and cornbread. Gravy was amazing with plenty of flavor (so often it's bland at other places). Great stop on our way to Vegas. Very clean and well decorated place. I had the prime rib sandwich and hubs had the chicken fried steak. My mashed potatoes were so smooth and creamy. The prime rib very tender and nicely piled on top of a buttery garlic toast and loaded with gravy. The chicken breading was nicely spiced. They have a selection of bottled beer but no wine or spirits. No one seemed to mind because the place was full. Great homestyle fare and reasonably priced. Service was quick, friendly and efficient . Got into a nice conversation with a couple next to us who noticed we may be travellers as well. I drove 3 1/2 hours, from Salt Lake City, to try this restaurant only to learn they do not offer a full menu throughout the day, and so I would have had to wait two hours just to order one of their entree's, since it was considered a "dinner" menu. Well, I did not drive all the way from Salt Lake City to order a burger. Plus, the server (waitress) had no compassion. Her only statement was that she "just followed the rules". The best place to stop in Beaver if you are traveling the I-15 corridor. Breakfast until 11am and until 12 noon on Sundays ( yes It is open Sunday!). Simple menu with popular items. Prepared to order and delicious. Atmosphere is fun with lots of cow pics and a small gift shop. Restrooms are clean. Service was great. Take a travel break and get away from the fast food joints! Don't waste your time stopping at this restaurant. Save yourself some time and money, just go across the street to McDonalds or Carls Jr. The emptiness should have told us something but it was after lunch in later afternoon. My husband got the steak sandwich which was supposed to be a flat iron steak.....supposed to be? Not good!! I got the sticky chicken basket. 3 small chicken tenders, not bad but the tatter tots that came with it were questionable. Some looked fresh cooked and some looked like they had been in the grease a couple of times. We ate some only because we were on the road all day and starving. Waitress was not a ball of fire either. Had breakfast today at the Crazy Cow in Beaver Utah. I loved the decor with the checker stainless. Friendly service, good coffee. Hubby had the bacon and eggs. Disappointed that the thick cut bacon was deep fried and way over cooked. I had the make your own omelette with bacon cheddar and mushroom and there wasn't a mushroom to be found and the bacon was way over done. Large portion, but I would have preferred less and a better cook. I did love the fact that you got to butter your own toast, most restaurants over do the butter. read more

The food was Great, and the service was awesome. We had a new waitress that was training. The restaurant was moderately busy, but she did great. Both wait staff, took time to explain the menu and recommend a few things. The food had generous portion (couldn't eat my entire Sticky Chicken Salad, and it was Amazing). Great ending to a long day of driving. Near the Interstate and Great Motels (we stayed at the Best Western next door, they offer free cheesecake with an evening meal and free breakfast if you stay at the Best Western). We stopped by this cute cafe on our way home to Vegas. It was a friendly small town cafe. Our waitress Denice was so sweet and friendly. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak and I got the chicken wrap with their famous sticky sauce. The cheesesteak was amazing! I wasn't a huge fan of the sticky sauce (too sweet for me), but the tator tots were yummy and overall the wrap was good. If I'm ever in beaver again I would stop and get the Philly cheesesteak! read more

The garden burgers were great and they even had sweet potato fries. A group of 25 came in right after we sat down, but our server made sure we were ordered and taken care of before she got busy with them - very much appreciated!
