I've always been a fan of Mongolian BBQ. And as I'm trying to increase my protein intake, and I was was I'm the middle of an 8 hour delivery day, I decided to try Crazy Fire. I came in around 1 on on a Saturday and there was maybe one other customer in the restaurant. Not a great sign. I didn't get a menu, I was just shown directly to a booth. I had seen online it was 13 dollars for all you can eat so that was my expectation. As I walked, I saw there were were cleaning supplies on different tables. Piece of advice... thank you for cleaning, but don't leave the chemicals and rags out in plain sight. I went to the buffet three times. Food was fine, standard for this kind of restaurant, though I wish they had the seeded bread that other Mongolian places have. And I was charged 26 bucks for the food. Turns out they charge one amount for one bowl, another amount for two bowls, and another amount for all you can eat. I've never heard of a place doing this. I did find a menu by the sushi area and it reflected the 10 and 13 dollar prices for the buffet. I mentioned it to my waiter and he said those are menus from before covid. Ok... that was 6 years ago and it was over 4 years ago, if I'm being kind. They have 6 plus year old menus there! I felt really misled. I won't be returning. read more

A bit of a confusing place. They have more Vietnamese food than Mongolian, and the Vietnamese food is fantastic. The pho and banh mi are legit and authentic. The Mongolian is just okay. Typical build your own bowl Mongolian place. I'm vegetarian and there was a lot of cross contamination with the toppings so I didn't care for the cleanliness of the place. You get 2 small bowls to fill up all you want and they give you a small scoop of rice. It's $16.99 per person and for the amount of food given I definitely think it's overpriced. The Vietnamese food here is incredible!! I've had the pho, and the Bahn Mi, and both are amazing! Both the Pho Ga and the Pho Tai Nam are excellent. You get a sizeable portion of pho, accompanied by bean sprouts, mint, jalapeño, and lime. The quality of pho is very dependent on the quality of the broth, and this place has nailed it. The barbecue pork Bahn Mi is to die for. The baguette is perfectly toasted and crispy, filled with perfectly fatty, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly, all with fantastic aioli that really rounds out the sandwich. Seriously, I was never really a Bahn Mi boy, but I'd go out of my way for the ones from this restaurant. At $4, it's an absolutely massive value, and so good that I might even settle for 2 Bahn Mi's for dinner next time. As a fair warning, the service at this restaurant is lacking, and they're frequently out of a lot of menu items. Don't count on any one dish being available. Service is slow seems to be run by owner husband and wife. Food came out fairly quick tho. Broth was yummy not too salty. Be aware the menu prices are not up to date. It's not all-you-can-eat as Google reports - the owners should get this updated. I went in expecting a buffet style, and it looked like one, but it's not one! I put as much food as I could into two small bowls and went up to have it prepared, told them I'm vegetarian, and then watched as they cooked my food near other's meat piles and they used the same cooking utensils. I ended up picking chicken out of my dish. In the past I've had mixed success getting a vegetarian meal from there but more often than not it gets contaminated. At least they kinda try? All of the others were more expensive and skimp on the food. This place really feeds you. We started with spring rolls, those were delicious but kinda small, and the bbq pork banh mi (they were out of the banh mi dac biet). It was pretty good and only $4 a sandwich. I really hope it stays that way. The boyfriend had pho and said it was really good, had tons of noodles and ingredients were all fresh. I had the bbq pork rice dish with fried eggs. It came with TWO fried eggs! I've never been to a viet restaurant where they give you two eggs. I dined here recently. The setup is a buffet of ingredients that you select and put in a bowl. Then you take the bowl up to the grill to be cooked. You can either do one trip or an all you can eat. The all you can eat was $2 more than the single trip and I was advised this way I could try multiple combinations. The buffet had a variety of vegetables; meats and proteins; and sauces and spices. There are noodles at the buffet or you can get white or fried rice from the guy at the grill. My first trip up went fine and I realized that I did not get as much as I thought I did but it was cooked fine. My second trip, I did better at selecting items but the grill guy seemed overwhelmed with cooking the food and couldn't keep up with it and mine was burned. If putting together your own meal isn't your bowl of tea, then go on the other side of the restaurant and order up some sushi. The service tends to be different depending on the servers, but most of them who work here are hard working and bus the tables as you eat and do a good job of tending to your drinks. The restaurant is a bit noisy during busier times since the cook is using flat metal rods to toss your food on metal grills, but your masterpiece, if you picked the right combo, is worth it! I prefer spicy tastes so I tend to pour on the Crazy Sauce, Chili Sauce and cajun powder. My preference is chicken and shrimp with broccoli, onion, baby corn, banana peppers, pineapple and noodles. By the time I'm ready to give it to the cook, I'm balancing both bowls trying to keep the mountain from toppling over before I get there and yelling "Clear the grill! Incoming!" After choosing your items, you take your bowl(s) to the cook/chef who cooks your food in front of you on a huge communal grill. Your food is then served to you with rice. There was a great selection of fresh food items and you can easily go vegetarian or vegan. You can be in and out within 30 minutes or stay for an hour. My wife and I just moved from Michigan and wanted to try Crazy Fire Mongolian Grill. I had one bowl of my choice and then had another and really liked them both. The next time I just took two bowls and liked both of them, tried different ingredients and it was not bad. Still trying to figure out the correct ingredients to satisfy my palate. We tell the cook how we want our food he cooks to our liking and immediately put something in the tip jar for him to see. My wife and I usually sit at the bar to watch TV and play KENO which we find entertaining. Juan the owner makes awesome mixed drinks and they have a good selection.
