We ordered several items via delivery. Very good food. I wish they would've labeled the rolls as I didn't really remember or know what was what but everything was really good. I enjoyed the shrimp rice and the crunchy roll. The cheese crab wonton's were good (they've always been a favorite) but the wonton was a different texture then usual. I really don't know why this place doesn't have better ratings. The food here is super good! The sushi is delicious and super affordable I got a shrimp tempura roll and a Boston roll. I get there, its 5:50. Walk in, there is a line. Okay, cool no problem - it's the holiday and people are hungry ‍...I walk up and pay. Got my number and wait. Now, I have no problem waiting. My issue came when EVERYONE that ordered after me coming in after me, received their food before me. I called in 20 mins ago...um...something isn't adding up. I counted 10 orders after me that ALL got their food and I am still waiting. It wasn't until I walked up closer to the register that I was acknowledged and asked again for my number. Perfect for the price. Easy to find parking and even when they are busy it's still fast paced. Plenty of options and they are all great. This place earns extra points for its lunch specials and how cheap the sushi is. All sushi is half off, and there are even better deals during lunch which is 11am-3pm. The portions are big, so it is some of the best value in the area, and the sushi is not small at all, they make big pieces along the cheap prices. Rice was VERY dry, I could barely taste the meat, white sauce was eh, and there were more vegetables than steak and shrimp. I love hibachi sushi. I either get their hibachi chicken, which is a massive portion. The price comes out to around $6.50 and it is definitely big enough for two meals. The yum yum sauce they have with it is a must. If I want sushi I order the Sushi Ocean which comes with: 4 pcs nigiri sushi, 6 pcs tuna roll & 8 pcs crunchy shrimp roll. it comes out to a little over $14 but there is a ton of sushi. For $7.00 you can get two delicious freshly made rolls. My go-to rolls have always been the Philly and Spicy salmon rolls. However whenever I decided to splurge, the specialty rolls are just as good as other BOGO places. All the sushi rolls are also 50% off and come out very quickly depending on how busy they are. This is excellent sushi, much better than what you get at Harris Teeter or Whole Foods, and it's so much cheaper at Hibachi Sushi. My son and I get HS takeout at minimum once a week.
