Red snapper, mac and cheese, and Collard greens

The greens were very good. The mac and cheese was okay. The red snapper was fishy and not crispy. Service was convenient.

Jumbo Fried Shrimp, Potato Salad, Macaroni and Cheese, cabbage and Red Snapper. The Cornbread and Peach Cobbler are not in the picture:)-

I wish they had a restaurant, they use a cloud kitchen system. The food is off the charts. I love Mike the owner and can't wait for what comes in the future.

The menu had a lot of things "out of stock." Perhaps call ahead of time to see if they have what you want before heading on over! :)

The food was good. I just don't like that a lot of their food was not available to order.

Fish & Shrimp were extra CRISPY! Mac & Cheese is Michelin worthy for sure Hush puppies were nice & crispy. I like ketchup on mine, that wasn't an option Everything was seasoned well & nothing needed salt The cornbread was too hard and there was no butter or honey. The tarter sauce was subpar, a good tarter sauce can take the fish over board $28.53 1 piece of fish, 5 shrimp, side of phenomenal Mac and an order of hush puppies Yall got an extra star for that Mac!

Crispy flavorful chicken wings, barbecue wings (preferred without the sauce for us) sweet baked beans, cheesy macaroni and cheese

Thank God we finally have some good soul food in the svc. We are working our way through the menu and live some things more than others. Also my husband and I like our food heavily seasoned, so on our second time in a week we requested Cajun seasoning on everything. First off the fried catfish and shrimp are excellent! I asked them to vent the top of the boxes so that the food wouldn't get soggy and it did the trick. All of the sides so far are great. We wanted a bit more salt on our cabbage but it was herbaceous and buttery. The greens don't have much vinegar but they were delicious. The yams are sweet but we mix all our sides together so we were good. The fried chicken again with added Cajun seasoning was excellent! We were not huge fans of the beef ribs as they weren't very tender but there was a little of food. I would try it again but this time on rice and gravy and smother them. We have only tried the peach cobbler egg rolls for dessert. They were really delicious but in the to go container the skins got soggy and there was too much wrapper to filling ratio. But again still delicious! Mac and cheese yummy made with shells but really cheesy. As foodies we really want this small business to survive. There are t many options that aren't chains. So try them out and support. Just wanted point out though that this is not a sit down restaurant. You order and pick up. I believe you can order there as well. But the first time I called it in and the second time we used Grub Hub Oh and last on our last order they were so kind to include a handwritten thank you note. Those small touches matter and their customer service was very fast, kind and accommodating.

I tried Mississippi for the first time and fell in love with their Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and desserts. The food can take about 20-30 minutes but, everything is done fresh. The owners are sweet, nice people and go above & beyond for their customers. The environment is great for anyone who just wants to enjoy a meal in a calm atmosphere.

We took a look and the pictures all looked delicious so we decided to give it a try. Best decision! We got to try the Tri tip which was my favorite, but also tried the half chicken (very juicy), & brisket. For side we got the mash potatoes and Mac and cheese which both had excellent flavor. We got a side of the grilled corn which wasn't our top from the other options but still good flavor. The waitress was also very helpful and answered all the questions my hubby had (he had asked quite a bit lol) They have seating inside and out but given the afternoon was fresh we opted to sit outside. I got sticker shock just looking at the menu. Over $20 for a regular wedge salad. The kicker though was the cleanliness of the place. First there was black mold growing in the drink menu. Then i looked at the brick floor ( we were sat outside) and i was disgusted (see photo). I understand that drinks and food get spilled but it doesn't take much to power wash the patio at night. My plate came out dirty with a chip on the dish-ware. The bbq bottles were sticky and congealed. Just think, if this the cleanliness of the dining room, imagine what the kitchen looks like. I have worked in the restaurant business before and this is just intolerable. Two stars for a good atmosphere (live music). But that's it. If you want great bbq, try Copper Hill BBQ. It's doesn't have the atmosphere of Smoke House but you get great BBQ and a clean environment.

The street front seating and building architecture is very appealing and welcoming. As you enter the main doors, you are greeting by friendly staff. We were offered any open seating, we decided to take a table against the back wall that was adjacent to the entry. The decor inside is very rustic with a touch of micro brewery, the ceiling has many tap handles that adorn the ceiling. The menu and food, we were initially drawn into the Refinery since they seem to be the only spot that offered Brunch and Mimosas in the downtown street. Key point of clarification, the Mimosas are simi bottomless (you have 90 min) to pour down, some of us really like Mimosas, plus the price was just slightly higher that we typically expect at 27, per person. Were they good, yes, so we decided to go with one Mimosa and an Old Fashion drink, it was very well done, Buffalo Trace Bourbon. We ordered from the Brunch menu, the Steak and Eggs, cooked to your liking, they did a great job on both, the one item that we were less impressed with were the overcooked Oreda looking potatoes that accompanied the meals. We also ordered the Cacio e Pepe Beni, Prosciutto, perfect poached eggs and all of the other fixings, it was great testing and the presentation was amazing. As far as my overall rating I could not give it a 5 star due to what other customers have shared in their reviews, the wait staff is not timely, almost forced friendly and possibly just lacking some restaurant experience, they did not come around or notice things like empty water glasses and a few other things, could have been understaffed possibly on this day. Overall I would still recommend the Refinery due to the location, atmosphere, drinks and main dish prep. Thank you for providing a break from reality during a very trying time in our family.

The decor is "industrial," but it's clean and airy, so there's no sense of being in a "dive" -- in fact, this is a family-friendly place, and I saw some youngish couples playing pool on what seemed to be afternoon dates. The physical bar is relatively small, with only about 8-12 seats, but that's because they're keeping as much space open as possible for game play. The staff was friendly and chatty, and seemed quite intent on making sure everyone had everything they needed. The menu is wider and more interesting than one would expect in a pool hall environment, with creative pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and salads promising a more unique and memorable meal than the average hangout. I opted to try the Pastrami Pizza: a traditional tomato and mozzarella pie topped with what they call "mustard fried pastrami," onions, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of yellow mustard. It's a good-sized pizza, larger than a true individual pie, and enough for 2 people to share. The pastrami was savory without being too salty, while the pickles, onions and mustard all added nice pops of flavor without feeling like a gimmick. My one disappointment was that the pizza was not prepared well-done as requested, making the crust more doughy than crisp. Also, the temperature in the venue was darn near frigid, so my pizza got cold very quickly, which reduced my ability to enjoy it as much as I would have if the pie had been piping hot. Other food being enjoyed in close proximity to me looked and smelled very good (wings and burgers), and like I said, the people were all top notch hosts. So, while the final pizza prep could use some improvement, I think these folks are doing a very good job of making bar food that's more interesting and memorable than you'll find anywhere else in the area. Definitely stop in and give them a whirl.

We are rarely in the area, but since we had some errands to take care of that led us to be in the nearby, and we didn't know what to eat, then my wife said how about some fish and chips from a different place, then it hit me that I had this place bookmarked and saved for some time now, and now was the perfect time. We came there and parked in the public parking building that was free. We came inside and there was a party of two in front of us waiting. The waiter, seemed to be the only one, came by and said hi to everyone and his thanks for our patience and wait. He later came by and took them to their seats. They requested outside, and the took them. We waited a few more minutes, then it was our turn and he was ready to lead us to our seats, but we asked for outside as well. He asked us to give him a few minutes to clean up a table for us. After so, he sat us and gave us menus. The service is good, considering he is the only one, but he moves about pretty quickly and still giving everyone his all. The table was pretty nasty. It was sticky. But we wiped it down and proceeded onto our night. We ended up ordering the two piece fish and chips and their pub burger with no cheese as my wife is lactose intolerant. People really need to realize that smoking is smoking, it does not mean that vaping is ok. Respect others by keep that to yourself, especially in a restaurant. The food came out pretty fast, and very hot and fresh. One of the fish was perfect and crispy, the second pieces was lacking. It was soggy and not fried long enough. The fish itself was great. It had a nice texture, firmness, and lightly salted. The batter was bland and could use some salt. However, eating it with the tartar sauce was amazing. The tartar sauce is perfection. Definitely a good fish and chips combo when consuming with the tartar. The steak fries were perfect. The burger was completely lacking. I thought it should be sent back. The idea was ok, but the execution was wrong. The burger was overcooked, way too overcooked. If it was cooked correctly, it would have been a great burger. The onion rings are great though. Great flavor, great batter, good frying. Overall, the waiter made the experience good because he was on top of it. The food was ok, as there are things that would make it better. The pickled jalapeño gives an acidic edge that rips right through the other flavors and contrasts and blends stupendously.
