The perfect latte or cappuccino with a lake view! Exactly what skaneateles needed. House made ice cream is delicious, and there are yummy bagels to go with your coffee. It's the perfect little spot for a nice meeting.

The best espresso, good vibe, and view! Service is great and welcoming. It's one of my regular spots now.

New Year, new coffee house! Located in the heart of Skaneatles this establishment offers great promise. Smoothe, suttle music in the background and modern decor fill the mid sized room. The service is quick. The written menu only offers tea selections at this time but espresso options are verbally offered. The food menu only offers bagels at this time but they do offer ice cream. Seating ranges from bar top to four tables to couch seating which overlooks Skaneateles lake. There are also benches along the entrance hallway is you wish to watch the passerby sidewalk traffic. This offers a good alternative to notoriously busier bakeries. A quaint startup that i plan to revisit!

Their icecream is homemade and they have the best spot to enjoy coffee and enjoy food.

Homemade Ice Cream. Home. Made. Ice cream. I stopped in the Cream and Coffee for a scoop with my daughter on Mother's Day and even with a line out the door, the owner was charming and warm. Please stop by Cream and Coffee next you're in Skaneateles. The view off the back windows were worth the wait.

This place has great vibes, a great atmosphere, and can't beat the beautiful view of the lake! The service was fast. However, I wish their menu was available online to view and I wish there were prices included on the menu in the cafe. I ordered the cookie butter latte and it was delicious. I could have sat here all day.

It is a smaller bakery/Café so not a ton of seating however there is some available for a quick bite. Cute little donut, decorations around on the walls too! I got two different types of scones as well as a breakfast sandwich. I was starving, and it tasted delicious, however, it would've been nice if the sandwich could come with something small on the side like fruit, salad, or garnish of any sort. The sandwich itself was on a smaller side, but it was still delicious nevertheless.

Well before it's charming renovation, back to when it had leather bar stools at the bakery counter and Jim in the back making the best apple fritters you've ever had. I come whenever I'm in town and it's always good. I think more than anything I come for the nostalgia. The Rice Krispie treats are always a solid pick and I enjoy them a lot. Same with the smiley face cookies, the bakery frosting is the best. I got a parfait for the first time since high school though and was sorely disappointed. They used to use wake robin yogurt (which I do remember them discontinuing some years ago), but now the yogurt is SO sweet. Overall it makes the parfait too sweet with the homemade granola and blueberry coulis. I couldn't help but notice how much smaller the parfait portions are too. They used to be full sized cups and now they're nearly half their former size which was definitely disappointing considering the price has certainly not gone down. In summary, the bakery will always hold a special place in my heart. Been going since I was a baby. The treats are good, sandwiches are solid, and they have a wide variety of beverages. Steer clear of the updated parfait though

It's pretty cool, then, to see new little spots like Daisy's popping up right after the new bike and pedestrian trail built over the old trolley line opened. Coincidence? Maybe! But if you're passing through rural Rensselaer county on your bike and feeling a little peckish, then Daisy's is an excellent new breakfast and lunch option just a short distance off the trail. Daisy's is brand new, so there are still kinks to work out -- our lovely waitress was struggling with her fancy electronic ordering machine, and there was a lot of confused running around in the kitchen. The food, though, was absolutely solid. My mom was a bit skeptical about the price of her BLT before she ordered, but took it back once she received her gigantic sandwich made with perfectly fresh ingredients and served with a mound of some of the tastiest Mac salad that either of us had ever had (plus a bag of chips!). My cup of the soup of the day was hot and flavorful (if slightly over over salted). The weakest link in the whole meal was the oddly soft hard roll for my breakfast sandwich: I'd ask for it toasted next time. Daisy's also serves local Tierra Farms coffee, which is a nice touch, and there were some really nice-looking treats in the pastry case. Overall this is a super cute little place that does a pretty good job of hitting the sweet spot between an old-fashioned small-town diner and a more modern cafe (with plans to add more vegetarian/vegan options to the menu). I'll absolutely come back, and I hope that places like this continue to open up and thrive in small communities around the region.
