This place is so cute and the ambiance is lovely. They have a market with local foodie items. They…read moreserve Gimme! coffee, but they don't know quite what to do with it. When I asked the barista how many ounces of espresso went into their lattes or ameicanos, they didn't know, and then explained that they just press buttons. If I wanted coffee made by buttons, we could just go to Starbucks or McDonald's. It hardly justifies $5 for a latte, which should ideally be made by a person. That said, the my coffee tasted great. Unfortunately, my friend ordered an americano. When I saw the barista pumping a thermos into his cup, I asked them what they were doing. They said "Oh, we pre-make it so it's easier for us." I didn't know that coffee shops are made to be easier on the purveyors. And they clearly don't know that within 15 minutes, the precious and delicate and delicious qualities of espresso disappear. I'm still shocked by their response. Also, his Americano wasn't hot as most of those thermoses don't keep things hot enough. But at least they didn't have to stress, which seems a large concern considering no one else was in the place. Ugh.

Well, I live above Pure and it is truly the only reason I refuse to move out of my apartment. My personal favorite: a vanilla (did i mention their syrups are HOMEMADE????) breve. My favorite breve in town. SECOND OFF: the food? local, fresh, made right. Also for those days when I can't really be around the public: amazing food to-go! Also very vegan-friendly. THIRD OFF: the goods! the variety! whether I want local honey, some kombucha, local cheeses....milk, lassi even! pastas, spices, just visit and see for yourself. FOURTH OFF???: the homemade baked goods (best kept secret: theyre $1 after 5 pm). I live for the chocolate croissants. FIFTH OFF: super fun weekly drinks! My favorite so far: Thai iced tea. SIXTH OFF AND MOST IMPORTANT: every single employee that works there is incredible, welcoming, loving, I consider them my cafe family. Truly. I refuse to leave this apartment if it means taking me further from Pure! For now, I only have to walk downstairs for dreams come true.

Service was fast- wish they were a bit more warm/friendly to match the warmth of their decor/interior design, but at least the food was good. We got baked goods- the croissants- correct flake, buttery, and large. This is a proper croissant. Sandwiches also good flavor- I got the chicken salad. Quiche was also a good choice.

Stopped in on a busy Saturday morning and enjoyed the energy here. The decor is great. You can find lots of plants and decorations specific to the finger lakes area. They also have books and games for guests to enjoy. We played the tic tac toe game while waiting for our order. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor as well The pastry case was eye catching and we would have loved to order one of everything if we could. We went with a chocolate croissant and macarons (blueberry matcha and butter pecan) Nothing but good things to say about the food and drinks here. We ordered two iced matcha drinks, four macarons, and one croissant which came to around $25 dollars. Pricey but worth it for the overall quality and experience. The bathroom was spotless but also had the same elevated design/decor to it which was appreciated. Not many places maintain this beyond the main area. I wish we lived close enough to call this our local coffee shop as it was a delightful experience
