I used to really like this place: the ice cream was good, the service was good and fast. The only problem was they didn't clean the tables enough. After not having come here for probably 8 months, we went today. Friday night, they were understaffed by at least two from what I remember. The service was very slow. To be honest, I think the only reason that people come here is to watch the massive liquid nitrogen clouds that pour over their counters while they make your ice cream. We were near the area shopping and decided to stop by and try the place out. I ordered cinnamon toast crunch ice cream with extra cinnamon toast crunch as a topping. And goodness, $1 for each single topping is ridiculously overpriced, especially for such a small container of ice cream. The wait for our ice cream was fairly quick, about 5 minutes. But the ice cream was very frozen when we got it, wasn't smooth and difficult to scoop and eat. The order taker even repeated what I said but when we got our ice cream it was not how we ordered it. The marshmallows were all stuck together - maybe a fresh batch would have helped. You could see the people working were working on an order-however, a look in my direction and simple we will be right with you would've been nice. My 6-year old was stoked so, we didn't walk out. Ice cream was okay and a novelty due to the unique the way it is made, but I had the nitro float (root bear and vanilla ice cream) and found the ice cream to taste like powdered, instant ice cream. The 1 star is due to cleanliness - or more aptly the lack thereof - and the lack of chairs. We brought out puppy for a family outing and of course sat outside, but the chairs were filthy with spilled dried-on ice cream stains, and there were only 4 chairs out of 12. I don't mean the other 8 were in use... they simply weren't there because despite charging an arm and a leg ($27 for 4), they can't bother to have a place for customers to sit. My original review of this place was one star. You can look back at my previous review which very easily laid out why they only barely got one out of five stars. However, a friend talked me into trying it again recently and it was clean, the people were polite, and the ordered came in a timely manner. Hands down the best texture of ice cream I've ever had. I ordered the Affagoto and I've got to say, it was very expensive for the size. $7.00 for a scoop of ice cream, shot of espresso, and whipped cream in a cute plastic mug. The ice cream was plain vanilla and that was the softest ice cream I've had in my life. It was very very good I just wish it was bigger. So I ordered a large and they gave me a regular, and it's already expensive enough. So I went up to the people and said I ordered a large and they told me it's the exact same amount of ice cream. That sounds pretty false considering the regular barely filled up the bowl. It's good but i'm mad they didn't even give me more ice cream or a refund.
