We walked in, and was floored by all the fabrics choices. They had other things as well such as books and certain kits or something. They also have tread and all sewing needs stuff, including those fancy digital sewing machines. Those that worked here were really nice. We showed them the sheet that listed what we needed and someone asked my son his favorite color and led him to an area with blue patterned fabric. He chose a couple and a navy thread. Someone helped cut the amount of fabric, and then we checked out. Wow I was surprised how expensive fabric is!! Not even a yard of each of the 2 fabrics, and it was already close to $30!! I suppose the educational value and supporting local and handmade stuff is worth it though, given one can buy a pillow case with pillow for far cheaper. Highly recommend for those that know how to sew and enjoy such crafts. I don't have the talent or creativity, but I appreciate all the different types of fabrics and such here!

An employee guides me to an aisle, this person was helpful, but when I see the bag I was looking for, it looks like the package has been opened already; the top plastic was cut and it looks like the bag wasn't full (1.5lb bag). I ask the employee and he says ya that seems like it was open. I ask if there's a scale around. He says no. So I take the item to the front, and ask 3 other employees if there's a scale, since it looks opened. They say there is no scale available. I ask the person at the cash register, and she points over to another employee who seems like a manager. This employee wasn't wearing a hobby lobby blue uniform shirt. I show the top of the bag to the employee, and she says, that's how it is. I told her I don't think this is right. I need the powder so I purchase it. When I get home I weight the powder and it's only 1.082lbs when it should be 1.5lbs. I don't want to drive back just for a refund, so I was hoping Hobby Lobby can send me a message for a refund. I had no idea she would be the answer to all my problems! Amy was so kind throughout the whole process. Remaining patient with me and answering all my questions. Whenever I go, whether it be during the week or even weekend, there's always somebody in framing, and all the other people are usually upfront at the cash registers. I only ever see one person working in the floor, but they are always busy with a line of people trying to talk to them. I do like the selection of art supplies, and they even have fabric, which is cool. Kind of rare to find that at Michaels. I always find what I need, and if I do need help, I'll ask the framers cause they seem to be more knowledgeable and available than anybody else. Great pricing for large amounts of items.

It's always kept clean and organized…read more There are many options for glazing, and different options of clay that are held at the studio for purchase. I appreciate this place being more of a class setting than those one-time activities for date night or to hang with friends, because ceramics takes awhile to get a good handle on. Plus there is a process of the bisque and glaze fire which cannot be done in a day. My recommendation is to take the 8-week class and show up to every class. At the end of the course, I'm sure you will have a better understanding of pottery.

During the practice sessions, Chung would personally assist each of us on how to improve our throwing technique. Sometimes, we'll see instructor Yee, whom adds on the extra fun of banter in the classroom. They also have open studio so that students can practice during the week. Special out out to Cassandra!
