We loved working with Creative Floors for our carpet installation. From the quote to the installation, everything was prompt and professional. Highly recommend.

    Staircase

Truly gave our stairs a glow up! Johnny was very responsive regarding the initial estimate and quickly addressed any concerns or questions we had throughout the process. I was able to design every aspect of our new staircase including stain and paint color. His team worked all day for pretty much an entire week and cleaned up after themselves everyday. We are very happy with our beautiful new stairs!

We had our second floor redone in our home. We wanted to have carpet removed and match hardwood on our first floor. We were on a tight deadline with baby coming next month. Johnny was able to come quickly and offer a very competitive quote for work. He also was the only bidder who noted the leveling issues. We decided to have the floor leveled as well. Could not be happier with the floors and leveling. He is very responsive and corrects any concerns you may come across. Thank you Johnny!

We had a great experience with Creative Floors and would definitely recommend them. The showroom has a great selection of samples and they were helpful with suggestions. They also met our tight timeline to order and install the carpet.

My reason to use this service was bc my floor was installed improperly. It was not pushed together at the seam. So I requested to have those gaps filled, so the gaps weren't so obvious. So the floor was sanded, the gaps were filled with floor putty And the whole floor was stained and finished with a water based sealant. Result: The floor was sanded (unevenly). Gaps became even more obvious with the putty they used (wood putty used does not stay in gaps, not pushed in all of the way). Floor was stained and sealed (finishing scratches easily, comes off or stains instantly) I reached out several times with my concern. Each time I was gaslighted and blamed for the issue. Even though I took care of the floor properly. Recorded and documented all of the issues, And communicated my concerns. And nothing was attempted to be fixed. End result, I had to hire someone else to fix what was disfigured. It saddens and frustrates me, that I had to go through this experience.

The crew did a beautiful job sanding and restaining our hardwood floors throughout our 2400 sq ft ranch home. They moved all the furniture to the garage, removed all the doors and did a beautiful job. The floors look brand new. Then, when ready, they moved all the furniture back. They were so respectful and careful with everything they did. The crew cleaned every day and were always available for questions. The work ethic of Johnny, Adam and the whole crew is what I would like to see with anyone I hire to do a job. You can tell they care. In addition, the price was very competitive and reasonable. Already referred to two friends.

We hired Creative Floors, Inc. to install hardwood flooring on our second floor and carpet on the stairs. What started as a normal home improvement project turned into one of the most stressful experiences we've had. During the process, about 10 boxes of flooring went missing from our home. The contract clearly stated that all materials were paid by us and that any leftover flooring would not be refunded, meaning those extras should have stayed with us. When we asked about it, we received several different explanations from the company, which made things even more confusing. After requesting to pause the work and verify materials, communication broke down. The project was left unfinished -- the trim work and stair carpet were never completed, even though most of the contract had already been paid. This was supposed to be a straightforward project, but it became a very disappointing experience. Based on what we went through, I would not recommend this company.

We hired Johnny and his crew to do the flooring in our new home earlier this year and were highly disappointed. When we fielded estimates, Johnny was middle of the pack in pricing but he seemed knowledgable and gave advice on what we should have done. However, we started seeing issues once the floors were getting "finished." We came in after the initial staining/sanding and found that the workers set the AC to 59 degrees, empty/partially empty plastic bottles strewn across our kitchen floor, and a decomposing banana peel on our master bathroom vanity. Johnny apologized and said one of his guys was less experienced, etc. We then noticed issues with the actual finish of the floors because of chatter marks and dishout that we were seeing. Johnny then starts telling us he's been doing this for years and never had these problems (even though he just told us his guys messed up), that we should have said we wanted "furniture finished floors" (i.e. flat floors), and that his guys did an amazing job and he cannot see the problems we were pointing out (we ended up getting other companies out that explicitly contradicted what he was saying). When we started fielding other quotes to finish the job he started, I realized that the initial estimate he provided did not have any specific dollar amounts to the itemized work, so funny how when I requested it that it took some additional time and certain issues were weighted more (such as charging out almost $500 to remove a vanity, mirror and toilet from our half bath that we were quoted less than $100 from other contractors). He then went on a spiel about how he was a good Christian and that he would never do something like that and that he has three kids that he needs to feed, and eventually posturing himself for a mechanics lien against our property with veiled threats. As we've lived in the house, we've definitely noticed more issues with imperfections in boards (staple marks), creaky flooring in some parts of the home, etc. Unfortunately, with a new child on the way, we decided to bite the bullet and just get it over with and hire someone else to do the work at a later date. If you decide to go with Johnny, I recommend you get a very detailed estimate (showing pricing on everything), apparently tell him you want "furniture finish" floors if you want flat floors, and don't let Ionut Sas pressure you into accepting less than acceptable work. Edit: Looks like Johnny is upset.

We had a great experience with Creative Floors. They are very professional and know what they are doing. We have tow little children and one of them was sick and was kept home in addition to a barker dog however, they did amazing job with a lot of barriers and limits. We had 2.25" hardwood in most part of our first floor except the family room, entrance and office! They changed the floor to match with the rest of the floor and stained them all with a darker color.I recommend them 100%.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It is such a pleasure doing business with a company that takes pride in their work. I got three quotes. Creative Floors was very competitive with their pricing and I liked their solution to our different heights of floors that needed to be resolved so there was no transition between the different rooms. Their reviews online were excellent, so we chose them and we are so happy we did. Adam was here during the week to measure the job, bring samples, and took all my needs into consideration. He was an intent listener and heard what I had to say. He also was distressed to see the job that had previously been done on the trim work didn't include base shoe. He said it was unprofessional to have left it like that. That was done prior to our purchasing the home and one of the things that I did bother me too. I received the quote that night. My husband and I went to the store on Saturday to look at other vinyl wood samples just to ensure we had exactly what we wanted for the living area of our ranch and changed up the carpet choice we had for the basement bedroom. Johnny, the store owner, helped us through to make our final decisions. Because we had an enormous amount of base shoe and also baseboard needed for the basement they delivered all that two weeks prior to install so we could paint it before they put it in. Very much appreciate them accommodating that request. On our day of install, Orlando (crew leader) and his two nephews showed up on time with smiles their faces and went to work. HOLY SMOKES did those men work! They were focused, professional, respectful, accommodating, talented, and quiet. When I say quiet, I mean no yelling, swearing, loud music, arguing, nothing. They worked together cohesively and put their noses to the grindstone for hours on end. They worked 8 am - 5 pm day one. They left my house in a condition to be able to watch TV, get to the refrigerator, bedrooms, and garage. Everything else was under construction, but it was also picked up of their tools and debris. So considerate and accommodating to us! Day 2 they were here before 8 am, but didn't enter my house until 8 am when I told them to start. I had to chuckle to myself. I told them they could come in, but they waited until 8 am and started. Day 2 they worked themselves to the bone from 8 am - 7 pm. So much progress was made and everything was looking beautiful! Again, the house was picked up with their tools tucked away and no debris on the floors for us to trip on. Day 3 they arrived around 8:45 am - 11:45 am to finish all the fine delicate work. They put my house back in order where everything belonged, dusted the bigger pieces of furniture, and then cleaned their work area in the garage and driveway. When I say clean, I mean CLEAN! They vacuumed my garage floor, blew my car off with pressurized air, and then blew the sawdust out of the cracks in my driveway. Every nail, piece of wood, and rag was picked up and hauled away. One would never know they were here except I had new floors! We had two plumbing SNAFU's that happened in the bathroom that were not their fault. This is an older home and when one gets into a project, there are unforeseen things that rear their ugly head when you tear stuff apart. I am grateful they told me about them so that I could get the plumber here to repair. I appreciate their honesty and work ethic so very much! I am happy as a clam and highly recommend them for your flooring needs. Thank you Adam, Johnny, Orlando and crew! You are true professionals and I value everything about how you conduct business!

Dean answered my questions about current decorating trends and assisted me in finding just what I needed to help me blend my aesthetic with potential resale value in a couple of years. The price was also better than I expected. My only two suggestions for improvement would be, 1) add signage to show there was floor tile in the center of the store. I saw the sign for "decorative floor tile" but did not realize there was other, less expensive, floor tile elsewhere in a separate area, and 2) have people on the floor ask customers if they need help. I was wandering in the wrong area and 4 different employees either stood talking to each other or were putting new samples on the wall who basically ignored me.

The 3 guys who arrived called ahead 20 min, and were super careful to measure thrice and keep measuring and using a level as the piece dried. I felt very confident watching their concern to get the piece on the backsplash in an attractive and straight manner. They could not have been more professional. I'll say it once and say it again: when you deal with the salespeople at The Granite Corporation (that's their real name not "Granite") you kind of doubt that they have a clue about what they're selling. I don't know what will happen and it takes too long for them to finish up a sale, even though they mean well. However, when the measure & install team shows up, those are the people who really know what they're doing. They are top pros. I asked Sam, my sales person, how are they going to make sure the glue holds on a vertical application, and she did not know. I asked her if I should cover my stove, and she said, don't worry (of course, I did). When they showed up, they scored the back of both my backsplash and the new piece, so more glue would be applied. They applied glue all around the perimeter (not visable). They taped the piece in place and I put a spongy rug on my stove (just in case). They said, glue sets in 10 minutes and they held it that long, and it is good to go in a couple hours when I can take off tape. I would have liked to know that there would be a little granite dust in my kitchen ahead of time, to have removed everything from countertops, but they did hold up a vacuum while they scored my backsplash, so I cannot say that I see any dust (besides my own). They scored the new piece outside my house. The treasure here is the cutting, measuring & install team. They are premium craftsmen, very experienced and know how to communicate with the public. They're the ones who should be selling the granite!
