We also had a few other areas addressed but these were the major changes. Tom, the owner of Albrecht and Son, came out and sketched our a plan for each room. The remodel was a long and tedious process but we made it through. I was impressed with most of the workers (the superintendent needs a vacation) and the completed work was very, very nice... except the counter tops in the kitchen. Lee's Tapps Counter Tops, LLC installed the granite. Our selection came from the showroom at Albrecht's but the actual rock came from Tapps. They installed it and then they left. For weeks afterwards, no matter how many times I cleaned it, there was a gritty feeling on it, morning, noon or night. I reported this but Tapps never offered to replace it. Instead they simply implied that it was either dirty or it was my imagination. Eventually, I stopped talking about it. When the entire remodel was done, and everyone was paid, Tom asked me if I was happy. He really wanted me to be happy. You have to love that guy. I told him that every time I ran my hand over the granite, I cried. He then set me up with a different company and let us select the slabs of our choice. I know he lost money on this deal but I have to give him credit. He is a true professional and I recommend his company without reservation. I would have given them 5 stars but the superintendent's attitude and the cabinet makers lack of concern about the "little things" deserve the loss of at least one star. Trust me, if you are honest and up front with Tom, he will take care of you. I've posted a few pictures of the end results. July 16th, 2024 we paid half of the cost to remodel our kitchen up front to Desert Prestige. We…read morereceived the cabinets in the middle of December 2024. Work began on January 2nd, 2025 and has yet to be completed. From the start, there were multiple delays, miscommunications, and out right liberties taken with our time from Desert Prestige. While certain delays are expected, there were weeks to a full month where no communication was given for us to know what was going on. During these times, we would need to take the initiative in contacting them for a schedule as they were not responding or proactively contacting us. Workers were also arriving at our home throughout the day, often without notice, including in the evening. Despite the owner, Eric, telling us when the workers would be on site, they wouldn't show up, sometimes until hours later, sometimes not at all. Towards the end of February, we were notified that we had to pay the rest of the project in full even though the project wasn't complete. We had to correct them on the contract on the things they purchased versus the things we purchased outside of them. One item, at least, still hasn't been excluded. There are also still multiple pieces of leftover trash and debris that has not been removed, even though clean up is in the contract. No one from Desert Prestige kept track of work that still needed to be done. They relied on us for this or simply didn't do it. Every time we were met with excuses and passing the blame as explanations for this behavior. After a month of no communication from Desert Prestige, we contacted them, and were told they would arrive on site between 11-12 the next day. They did not show up on time, and arrived at 1pm, only after being contacted again and told they didn't keep the schedule. Eric told us that because our "availability" was between 10-4, they were still on schedule, regardless of us telling them if they didn't show when we were told they would, they would not be permitted into our home. Desert Prestige's unreliability and irregularity caused us to have to work from home for multiple months and made us uncomfortable in our own home not knowing when or if they would show up to do the work they stated they would when they stated they would do it.

Trinity Home made our house a showcase with custom cabinets installed by one of the best in the business. Anthony's gift for designing was spot on. If something was not to our liking, he made sure we were satisfied. Our home is beautiful with a total redo of our bathrooms and a professional grade kitchen with an 11 ft quartz countertop. Brett Buckner (owner) helped me make my preliminary selections so that he could come out to my home within a few days to do a comprehensive measuring and fully understand my needs/wants. Within a week I had a detailed quote emailed. We did a follow-up to make some revisions to the plan and thus the quote. I had done some other shopping, the bid was competitive, but just as importantly, they had done work at my home before and also had recommendations from people I knew personally. Upon award of the job, I was assigned a project manager and timelines were established; tasks assigned and communication was clear. Most importantly, any time I had a question, I could make a call, and would get answers the same day. During the most intense part of the project, I was only without a working kitchen for 4 1/2 days; and always had a functional refrigerator. Coordination between the cabinet painter, the granite/tile work and plumbing made that possible. Throughout the project both Skyler and/or Marjene would stop in to check on progress to make sure that I was happy and that the quality of work was meeting their standards. And they passed the acid test; after they left, I noticed two small things which I thought could have done better. They returned immediately and made these right. And they sent an invoice almost a week later (giving us an opportunity to discover any other issues, which we did NOT), and the invoice was for the exact amount of the estimate. They accepted my credit card payment over the phone. Our job was a small one, but they have definitely encouraged us to contact them again for our next job - small or large.
