Came here to get nails for a wedding. Got acrylic ($75) and regular pedi ($35), which is expensive for a one dollar signed place so that would need to be corrected. Typically, acrylics are $65 on average from my experiences. Hailey was very kind and helped me do my nails! The only thing I would say is that they're too round and large. She did check-in but I didn't realize how they were until later. I asked her to fix it and she tried her best which I appreciate that a lot. It's just not skinny shaped as I usually get. Pedi was totally great. I was relaxed the whole time barely felt the lady do them and they look good. A white pedi can't go wrong imo haha. It was $55 for a fill excluding tip for a basic white polish. I feel like that's very overpriced (I live in San Jose so I understand everything is more in the Bay Area). Also, my nail tech screwed up on both thumbs so she has to start over for both of those two fingers because she cut my original acrylics too short. I feel like maybe that's part of the reason it was so expensive but I've never paid more than $50 for a fill. I made an appointment and they took me in right away. I wanted regular pedicure and manicure. The manicure was great, she cleaned my cuticles up and everything. However, the pedicure was far from relaxing or good. I sat and pointed at my toes because I wanted the overgrown skin to be trimmed off with a cuticle cutter. I think they misunderstood me and thought I said ingrown. She kept digging in to my skin to try to find the ingrown when there really wasn't any. It was my fault for not saying anything because I don't want to be confrontational and the ladies were nice to me. I just had a horrible experience because the lady doing my pedicure cut me and I pulled my foot back, the lady told the boss to help and the boss came and took some more of my nail/skin off assuming it was an ingrown. Then a third woman came because I was told that she was the professional ingrown cutter. I told them they don't have to cut it anymore because I'm feeling pain at this point. Overall, the cut is painful and I can not wear my shoes for work and I'm limping now because my cut feels tender. I didn't want any polish and was charged $60 for everything and I gave them $9 tip because they were nice and tried their best. Parking is available at a small lot next to them and then there's street parking. So $69 total for a regular mani and pedi with no polish. read more

Honestly I want to gatekeep this place but I won't because everyone here is so good! Yes my natural nails are naturally nice shaped but it's been a challenge to find a good dip or gel in the bay. Disappointed. I just moved to the area and I was looking for my go to place for nails. This is not it. The Pedicure was decent - but she only used the pumice stone on my feet for about 2 seconds! Very strange, why do it at all? Additionally no nice food massage like my previous place. Manicure was AWFUL. Opted out of gel and got regular polish. She did my manicure in about 10 min. Cuticles so messy, paint job so messy. I could tell she was rushing. Also no hand massage with manicure. I ended up with many bubbles and cracks. Pedicure 5/5 Service 2/5 I was very excited to go to this nail salon during my staycation in Belmont because of the great reviews. I had an appointment at 12PM for a regular pedicure. Got there and was told that they will get to me in 10 minutes. Completely understand, lots of are businesses understaffed right now. However, they didn't start until 12:45. Again, understandable, but I wasn't planning on that. While my toes were drying, my tech came to ask me a question, but I couldn't really understand what she was saying. The owner eventually stepped in and said she was asking if I wanted to stay for longer to dry or leave. I was ready to go because I wasn't expecting to stay as long as I did. Then she said something in her language in a frustrated tone. One of the customers asked the owner what she said and they proceeded to whisper about me. I definitely thought I was respectful especially given the wait time, but to have her talk about me while I was there was a bit hurtful. I paid (with tip) and left promptly. Definitely don't want to play the race card but as a Black woman visiting a predominantly White/Asian town, it made me feel some type of way. Excellent job with the pedicure though! read more

I was able to make an appointment and come in for a gel manicure. Parking was available on the street, right in front of the location. It was small cute space. I arrived a bit early, which gave me time to take a look at some colors. It's my birthday coming up Valentines weekend, so I went with a bright pink. I normally go with a teal or lavender color but figured it's Lunar New Year, Valentines & my Birthday to go with something totally different and to make it POP in photos. My sis had referred this place because she really likes how they are clean here, and do nails nice here. I didn't realize they are not doing any nail art or designs, which was okay because I didn't make an appointment for that or ask for it while booking an appointment. I was happy with Tina, who did my gel manicure. I had really short nails, and I know it's no easy giving someone a gel mani with really short nails. I've been coming to creative nail spa the last couple years since I moved to the area and I love it!! Haley has helped me grow my natural nails by introducing me to dip powder and taking the time & patience to maintain them. She also goes out of her way to accommodate my crazy design ideas, although she usually does not promote design work. As for the rest of her crew they are super nice & fun to hangout with while I'm there! I've been going to Creative Nail Spa for a few years. The staff has always been friendly and I enjoy being able to walk-in and not have to wait. After my last visit, I will not be returning. They charged me $60 (without tip) for a gel pedicure! 60 DOLLARS! I understand that things are expensive right now, but that's just insane. I had previously paid $50 which is high, but acceptable, and all of a sudden the prices went up (even though the staff claimed that they didn't). They also don't have their prices displayed (red flag). I will be looking for a new nail salon, as I cannot justify paying $60 ($65 with tip) for an OKAY gel pedicure.
