This is a friendly nail salon located in Summerlin off of Fort Apache. I've been going here for about 5 yrs now and I haven't been disappointed. Ask for John or Debbie. They are the best. They are also the owners. If I'm not sure what color to do John always recommends what he thinks will look good on me and he's been spot on. Debby is a first rate nail technician, very knowledgeable about current trends and listens to your requests. Her skill is above average and she possesses excellent time management skills. I came here to get my Gel-X nails removed in October, and unfortunately, the experience was rough. The nail tech drilled so aggressively that my natural nails ended up bending and incredibly weak--I couldn't even do simple things like grabbing objects without discomfort. Ouch. Maybe I just got unlucky with the wrong technician, but they charged me $15, and it cost me my healthy, natural nails. read more

I got a pedicure & lip wax 1/11/25 by an older lady, didn't get her name. I was satisfied with my pedicure although she was a bit heavy handed, and hurt me. I then got a lip wax and immediately after it was burning really bad. After looking in my car mirror I seen there were marks on my lip, went back inside and they told me it's just redness. They didn't have any aloe Vera to put on. I've had my lip waxed before and it never burned like this. I specifically asked 'will this leave a mark tomorrow? I feel like this is a burn.' John told me 'No it's not a burn, don't touch it and it'll go away' I'm waking up this morning with a burn on my lip!!!! I will neverrrrr come back here and the way they gaslit me to avoid taking accountability speaks volume. No morals or ethics whatsoever!!!! I have been coming here since I moved to Vegas. Debbie and Johnny are amazing people and nail technicians.

If you follow my reviews, you know I don't give out 5 stars lightly. I've only gotten my nails done here twice and both times were last minute on a weekend (my fault) and both times they were able to fit me in almost immediately. The anxiety from trying to find a business that's currently open and able to fit you in because your event is tomorrow and you procrastinated until the final day because you lost track of time was put to ease. The last time I came here, the vibe was pretty friendly. I guess they have a lot of regular customers because the conversations seemed like that of two friends (or the customers were just chatty lol). Other salons do get into conversations now and then but not with multiple customers back to back. For the most part, other salons are quiet. I like the camaraderie of this location. I don't have that kind of money to keep getting my nails done, but if I did, I would definitely get them done here. I have not tried any other service so I'm not sure how that would go, but I would not be opposed to trying a wax. They used to offer discounts for writing a Yelp review but not sure if that's still a thing. I didn't see anything this time around so it's unclear. read more

This is my time getting my nails done here and I am still extremely satisfied. I had to go in today after getting my nails done for SuperBowl weekend (Go Birds). I broke a nail cleaning my house, I called John and he told me come over right away. He fixed my nail immediately with no problem, I also had my eyebrows waxed by Debbie and she never disappoints! I really tried to not give a bad review to this place, but im sorry, it doesn't worth to spend money on this place. Went here 3 times, the first time with my mom, wants to do pedicures together but the lady who took us in was so rude that I ended up to have only my mom doing the pedicure and I refused to have one. Second time it was just ok, I understand my nails were in an ugly shape so I thought that it wasn't easy to make better of what she did it. My third time was the worst, my nails looked like I did at home by myself, I comeback the day after to have fix it and a guy how I believe the name was John was so polite and ready to help, until he didn't get a new customer and decided to rush me just with a file and a double coat of the clear top polish. It is So Bad, I was to give them a zero But that's not possible So I give them a One. Story Time: Came in for a fill, early. Waited 5 minutes before being acknowledged. Patiently. Yelled at "What You waaant" I said I have an appointment, remember I called an hour ago, the timeframe... "Oh oh yeh okay, sit down" Waiting. 5 minutes into my appointment my tech comes out from the break room "lemmme see, oh so ugly" Funny, because HE did them a few weeks ago lol "What want?" A French fill, remember? That's all I ever get. "Okey, here I give you homework" he says Homework. And hands me stacks of painted nails on a wreath. Why. Why? "You pick new color, too ugly" He can't do French manicures - apparently. So I'm sitting - insulted - now waiting again (it's 10 minutes into my appointment and he disappears. I ask the lady if anyone else is available please. She says," sit here" so now I'm playing musical chairs, waiting "no one available" ... but I made an appointment because you said this is the best time. She say, "okay sit here" I sit. Another 10 minutes. I say, "really, anyone can do my fill. Please. If you can't then just say so and I won't waste our time I need this done in my timeframe. Can you do it or no?" She says,"yeh yeh sit down" Waiting More time goes by I ask, "who should I wait for next?" She says, "who you waaaant?" I say, anyone but Michael, he disappeared so anyone. Not him. - at this point he's insulted me, wasted my time and mislead me with the poor time-management skills" ... she turns around a screams "Jooooooon" I'm like, oh no please no He comes from the break room smiling greasy finger eating snacks "you pick color" happy and knee deep into a food frenzy. I'm like, "are you serious?" Time - established Color - established YOURE not even paying attention here are you? Moral of the story, they do not care about you. The poor girl who was getting her nails done by the lady who was chairman of the musical chairs nail salon game said "it's bad huh. The wait?" I said "not just the wait" 30 minutes gone Insulted No apologies No answers Nothing I understand waiting if you're a walk-in but making appointments so he could take his lunch break during MY lunch break is wild. Granted, I hadn't eaten yet that day either. Say you need 5-10 minutes, if understand but taking your FULL LUNCH while my time is running out for an event??? This is a very biased opinion because I've been a regular for the last 8 years and they're one of my favorite places. It's definitely a comfort spot for me because I've known the staff for so long. I always get a gel mani and a gel pedi whenever I come. I love their pedi services! They always end it with hot stones and a warm towel with a small massage and it truly feels so good! Their mani services are good, and they do end it with a slight massage on the hand/arms too. John and Debbie (the owners) are always so nice and definitely run a tight well-oiled ship. They always make you feel at home by remembering you and asking how you're doing or pick up on little things from previous services. The techs are also so nice and always remember what you like! But after, I fell in love with Shawn doing both my mani and pedi. She's very professional at what she does. I love her energy, she's funny, and so real. Customer service is everything to me and this place is lacking a lot of that. I walked in with no appointment asking if someone was available for a pedicure and there response was "can you wait" I said "sure how long" then was just ignored. I'm honestly disappointed. $96 down the drain. This is what I asked for and this is what I got. I asked how much it would be to fix this and I was told " it took a long time , it doesn't look bad. You have a baby don't waste too much money" my money is not an issue. I used to come here for years fell off and decided to come back because John was a great guy and always did what I asked for but when I asked how much it would be to fix it and I get told that is just crazy to me. They have a huge selection of gel colors! The prices are reasonable and they don't rush! This is my first time coming here since the shut down. HORRIBLE SERVICE. the woman in the far back left corner was horrible. the rest of the workers who "helped" were just as bad. o asked for a basic French tip design pink nails white tip. square shape. I showed the picture prior to sitting with anyone to ensure they could do it. very simple design. I was there for 3 hours because she kept getting the pink color wrong. she made the nails extremely thick to the point where they were lumpy. she couldn't do the white tip at all. all fingers have different shape. when taking the nail off it tore my entire real nail off with it! she should've cut the nail before applying the fake nails. I willl never go again. extremely dissappinted. read more

I've been going to Creative Nails for a little over 2 years. I've always kept the same nail tech and don't book until she has an opening. I've always tipped fair and sometimes even over. I drive over 30 minutes to go to that salon to see Shauwna. Last week I went in for a full gel set and I had a chipped toe nail that I had gotten done the week prior. She didn't charge me for it but I tipped enough to had cover the chipped toe. Today I went back because 1 of my nails broke and my toe nail chipped again. She fixed my nail and when she was done, I brought up to her attention my chipped toe nail and she said she couldn't fix it UNLESS I GET A PEDICURE. Mind you I'm not due for it other wise I would have. I never asked for anything FREE. I even mentioned that I will pay her for it to be fixed and she refused. Not to mention to fix my nail she didn't charge me but I still tipped her because of my appreciation for her work.... But she lost a loyal client! Pros: John was so kind and attentive when it came to making sure my service standards were met. The nail salon itself is well kept and they have a great selection of nail polish colors. Everyone else is so kind. Cons: Unfortunately my service standards weren't meant and the problem wasn't fixed. I had to ask 3 almost 4 times for the girl to redo my gel French tip because it was either too thick, too thin, the sides were thicker than the top, it was lumpy in certain spots or you could see right through the French tip.. She would wipe the whole nail completely and start over. I was on a time crunch I made my appointment at 3 but I arrived earlier around 2:30 pm. I was helped around 2:45 pm and I'm just now leaving it's 4:05 pm. I have never had such a long pedicure that I didn't even like at the end. At the end I just gave up and said I liked it so I could go home. I don't know if I'll be back but overall for me it was a really bad experience. I even tried to talk to my girl to you know make small talk conversation but it was so displeasing to me so I just stayed quiet. read more

I went there because it had good reviews the first time I got John he did a good job with my acrylics, my pedicure was done by someone else don't remember the name she did ok. I went back for a refill did not get John got another guy he did good on acrylics but the last time i went I got a regular manicure because I needed to take my acrylics off and got one of the girls and it was a nightmare! She told me because of she needed to take off my acrylics my nail was not gonna be smooth she couldn't even give an even shape to my nails and the nail polish she put on top my nails without good smoothing and acrylic left on that she said she couldn't take off. I paid $56 dolar for a regular manicure and pedicure no gel!!! Regular polish and acrylic removal that got my skin irritated and peeling because she soaked my whole nails and fingers in acetone. I looked up a nail salon near my house on Yelp, and this place has good reviews. I went and got my nails done a week ago, but I decided to wait before I wrote my review to see how my nails held up. I got a gel manicure and I absolutely love it. Vickie did a great job! I also like the inside of the salon, it has a cozy feel, and they play great music. It has now been a week and my nails still look great! Not one chip, they look like I just left the salon. I would recommend Creative Nails to everyone. Can't wait to go back again...
