Decided to get nails done on a busy weekend (Mother's Day). My normal place was booked and we tried a couple other places. Then I remembered a place I used to go to. My niece and I were able to get in! We did two gel manicures. Both were done very efficiently and quickly. It's a smaller place, but they had three rows of tables that sat roughly 8 people. Along the other wall were the pedicure stations. It was pretty chill and nice. Nothing extremely fancy, which I like. Staff were super nice and helped my niece pick out colors. Definitely call ahead and see what's available, but I'm sure walk ins are available. Just based on the space, don't stress out and just call ahead. It's also near some great Thai food restaurants, so you can make it a day! I also checked in and received a 15% discount! Yay! read more

I looked up a nail salon near my house on Yelp, and this place has good reviews. I went and got my nails done a week ago, but I decided to wait before I wrote my review to see how my nails held up. I got a gel manicure and I absolutely love it. Vickie did a great job! I also like the inside of the salon, it has a cozy feel, and they play great music. I've been here twice in the last two months , this was my third time. First time I got a fresh set with John and the second time I got a fill with a young lady I couldn't remember her name but she was amazing ! This time a different woman. I decided to take my acrylics off since my nails grew out so much and just get a gel manicure. Taking the acrylic off took sometime then it was time to shape them. I told her I wanted to keep the shape just shorter ( I had almond before) she didn't really take her time shaping them after she cut my nails they were all different lengths & shapes I asked her to fix some because she was about to start putting the color on. Once I asked her to fix it she didn't ask me again if that's better or if I liked the shape , she just continued to put the color on. It was so rushed !!! She never told me to wash my hands after the shaping so there was dust everywhere and she proceeded to put the color on so there's little dust particules under the color. I guess my experience last time was so amazing I was expediting this one to be the same but I'm more disappointed. I had to reshape all my nails at home which shouldn't be a thing after a 40$ manicure. Not sure if I'll go back or try zen nail where my mom goes for 30$ and her nails are always amazing! I absolutely LOVE this nail salon. I have been coming to this same salon since 2012. I even have lost some of my favorite technicians due to relocation & it's so easy to find another Favorite just as Great. No one can do my gel Manicure like them and make my polish stay for the full 2 weeks with the typical grown out. What a great salon for nails! I was about 5 minuets away and called to see if I could get in. By the time I arrived the foot spa was already filling with warm water. I told the nail tech that I was in a hurry and she couldn't have been any nicer and accommodating! She quickly removed the gel I had on my toes from my previous visit to the salon. I really like the chill ambiance in this place! The vibe is great and they play current music. They do offer parking for a bike and have ample parking for your car too:). The nail techs here are very talented and privy to current nail trends. They offer a TON of color choices from regular polish to gel colors. The salon offers a pedicure menu with lots of options if you wish to upgrade to a special rub or scent. The prices are reasonable and the staff is really friendly. Absolutely disrespectful disgusting owner JOHN. I cannot believe this place is still open. He is so rude to his customers. I had a 10:30 appt to remove acrylic nails. Yes, i understand i need to soak them in order for him to remove it. Yes i understand it may take some time. I soaked it for 25 minutes before asking he come file them since my hands started burning. Mind you i had an appt for this! He was working on another lady and he rudely says "you have to soak them it takes very long, if you dont want to, up to you do what you want" meaning leave if you dont want to wait. He is basically saying this in front of the entire salon. So embarrassing! Of course i had to wait since my nails had been soaking for at this point 30 minutes. He then came to file them and asked i put them back in the acetone. If he didnt overbook we would have filed it sooner and have me put it back in acetone sooner and i would have been done sooner. I left there at 11:35. Took longer to remove then than if i would have want a full set. I get you want more customers to make more money but thats just ridiculous talking to a paying customer like that. One day hes going to come across the wrong person and get slapped for the way he talks to customers. Very disrespectful and money hungry. I have been getting acrylics for over 10 years never has it taken 1 full hour to remove my acrylics. The only person that i felt was nice was the front desk girl. God i feel bad for her! There are so many other salons, save your money and your time and go anywhere else, anywhere!! read more

Jon wasn't available today so I booked with Shana. Shana was so kind and helpful . When I couldn't choose between two colors she took the time to test both colors on separate nails to see which one I liked more ! She made sure I was comfortable with length , color , thickness etc . The decorations are so nice! The options they have for gel and regular polish is practically endless! The massage chairs work super well! EVERYONE that worked there was super nice! I've been going to Tiffny for years, I love how she always takes care of me! Her gel mani/pedi lasts soo sooo long without chipping, which is why I keep coming back. I love it! She does amazing with my French tip pedicure, I'm picky about how I like the French tip straight instead of curved and she always takes her time and ask me if it like it as she's doing it (rather than after when it's too late). If mani/pedi's are routine for you- this place is a must because it's one of the few places that has a point system! After 350 points, you get $15 off your next visit! My mom goes here to get her pedicures so I thought I would give this place a try. It was a Friday so it was a little busy. I waited for about 10 minutes and then was greeted by Debbie for a full set of acrylic nails. I'm very picky with the shape of my nails and I must say Debbie did a good job. The only thing that I was very disappointed with is that Debbie rushed through my nails. The process wasn't enjoyable because there was a guy (I'm assuming the owner) who stood over her at one point, trying to hurry her along. Look at my paint job. In Hawaiian we call that Kapulu. I have been a regular customer for 4 years now . I always make an appointment and the past few months when I come in I have had to wait for 45 minutes after my appointment time . This has happened on 3 times . I came in on Mother's Day with my daughter and by the time they did my pedicure we didn't have time for my daughter to get one. I made an appointment. Took my sons girlfriend for her first pedicure. The ladies were very nice and the gentleman immediately signed me up for the rewards program. Gel designs ARE CREATIVE hence the name ;) Staff is polite Variety of nail polishes 3D designs Hot stone pedi's Cons: Wait was long even with an apt- Forget about going on the weekend! their packed! Pedicare was not that great and the seats were not that comfortable I didn't like the set up for seating Staff doesnt listen to what you want, they really push you to convince you to get something other than what you asked for. After my manicure, I was bugged that my clinician did not buff my nails or even the surface and worse was that some of my nails were uneven, I would have had them fix it but since I was already there almost 3 hours I just wanted to be done already. On the plus side my Gel's lasted 3 weeks and I had a lot of compliments. Even though, I didn't get the design I wanted, the recommendation my clinician gave me actually turned out to look nice- I guess im just basing my opinion on the principle that it should always be what the customer wants and not what the clinician thinks they want, but like I said, I received lots of compliments so I suppose it wasn't that bad huh? read more

She remembers so much I tell her about my life and I only come once maybe twice a month! She loves all her clients and it shows. Some nail techs rush when they get slammed but she never does she always takes her time and makes sure your nails come out perfect! The worst manicure I have EVER had! The polish was bubbling under the UV light and it took several times of removing and re-polishing to figure this out. The nail tech was visibly frustrated and kept saying "oh my god" each time he had to redo it. The manager did not jump in to help out until the salon was closed. I wanted matte polish but they talked me into glossy after the matte polish left lines. I did not get what I asked for and my cuticles were bleeding from removing polish, filing, and buffing over and over. The end product was sloppy and looks like I did it at home. Ugh!! My friend took me here I won't be coming back they had me soak off which usually takes ten min it took 1 hr cus they wanted to help other people who came in after me. He was unfriendly didn't ask my name.
