My technician Cindy moved to this location so I followed! It's a small shop near Hottie on the corner. It was very clean smelling, no strong smell of products, and the massage chairs are very strong! I loved how all the materials are prepackaged so that you know it's all sanitary. Cindy had a taller stool and the massage chair height was taller, and this made her comfort much improved when working on my feet (less bowing over of her back). It did make the angle of my legs a bit tight but it's temporary. Also a much better variety of colors for regular polish than where we were before. She always does the best job. To start off, the atmosphere is calm, quiet, and friendly. I've gotten my nails done twice and they lasted me over a month! (Acrylic full set) No lifting whatsoever; which is amazing since I'm pretty aggressive with my hands. Van, the owner of the salon, is my favorite nail tech!! I have yet to try anyone else since she's the first one I had the pleasure of experiencing so I can't speak for them, but she always goes above and beyond with the nail designs I request. I highly recommend her!! They have an extensive color collection on their wall from which you can choose regular, gel, acrylic, and dip powder. If you're coming in for something simple or intricate, they will work on you. Something I really appreciated is that they are extremely accommodating with time. I called ahead of time letting them know I'd be 20 minutes late and they said it was perfectly fine. The shop closes at 7pm, but they took my friend and I until 8pm doing full sets and gel pedicure! I'm usually never on this side of town but found myself in the area as well as this shop. I couldn't be more thankful. Kelvin did a stunning job on my nails. I tried liquid gel for the first time and he explained what it was extensively so I knew what I was getting. I prefer a longer stiletto shape, a specific color from gelish if available and am honestly a pain in the ass to have in the chair. But Kelvin accommodated without flaw or complaint. I absolutely will make the drive across town just to have him do my nails. Had me laughing the whole time, made sure I liked my nails and periodically would have me inspect them, the shop is sparkling clean, I've never seen a nail salon with that much of a selection of color, the playlist was stellar and overall I had the perfect experience. They tell you one price then they tell you another price. I will never come back here. This is exactly why they have such a low rate on reviews because of the terrible customer service they have. They literally trying to charge $10 for a deeper French tip on top of the $5 they are already charging for a French tip. They even charge for having long length. There is no fine print on the website showing all the little up charges that they have. Every tiny thing they try to up charge you. I kept telling the lady I wanted an acrylic fill n she keeps telling me if I want gel multiple times. Like wtf I swear i am the nicest person when it comes to situations of having a language barrier but this was ridiculous!!! read more

I am so disappointed in this place. Upon arriving I spoke with the receptionist and showed her a picture of what I was hoping to get (blue themed acrylic set). I was told they could do it exactly like the pic I showed them for $60. As soon as my dad left (I'm 15) and I sat down in the chair, the prices began to change. I was immediately told it would be $5 more for the set (minutes after they had confirmed it would be done for $60 total). Before the manicurist applied the color, he told me they were "out" of the color he needed for the set and it would be $10 more to use the gel for the same color. I found this strange because he clearly saw the picture of what I wanted and confirmed he could do it. After I called my dad and he came to the salon mid set, the color I needed for the acrylic set magically appeared. After this, I was told one of the designs could not be made because I chose not to use the gel polish. I was still charged the $15 even though they refused to do the design on one of my nails. I asked for two sparkles in place of the designs and they charged me an extra $10 on top of the $65. Overall, they tried to scam me and take advantage of me continuously all throughout the service. I felt so uncomfortable. The final product was not only what I didn't want, but all the nails are thick and they curl upwards. I would not recommend this place for their quality of work and terrible terrible customer service. read more

Worst service ever! If I could give them no stars I would. They told me 10 minutes when I walked in. While I al sitting there waiting they take new walk-ins and keep me sitting there waiting. After it's already been 40 minutes. So after everything they say it will take awhile to to what I want to get done. I can't do them now cause I don't have the time. I visited this salon today for the first time . I'm 37 weeks pregnant and wanted to have a nice massage and pedi . They got me and my friend In right away but it wasn't the best experience. The techs were nice but they kept pointing and speaking in another language and we got the feeling they were talking about us . I didn't get my feet scrapped or scrubbed, nor did she give me a massage . I am extremely disappointed. I paid $50 for a gel change . I even tipped her ! My feet feel soo rough still and my friend said the same ! I'm usually not one to complain but I feel very ripped off and just wanted a nice pedicure for my pregnant feet ! I will preface this review with the comment that the only reason I found myself visiting this nail salon is because my favorite technician moved to this salon from the one she use to be with after COVID shut things down. With that said, this is a nice salon. Nice decor, extra precautions for COVID, entertainment while you are sitting with not much else going on. However, Dana and I play catch-up though while I am there. There is a good selection of products between dipping powders and gel colors with glitter, chrome, cat eye, and this colored flake type process.Dana usually has no problem recreating the looks I find on Pinterest and has a great eye for matching the colors that I don't see when I'm looking through the tons of colors they have. Nice massage chairs for pedicures as well. I definitely recommend this place. Just don't have a Lyft pick you up from here as they get lost at the target. read more

Those were nice things, but I give them two stars because simply put, I have experienced better manicures elsewhere. In my experience, the nail technician usually gives you a bit of a hand massage at one point, but that didn't happen for either of us. It's a perk I always look forward to, so I was disappointed that I didn't get it. I had mentioned to my nail tech (whose name I didn't get) that I wanted round nails (I came in for a full set of acrylics) twice, even three times, but I feel like maybe she didn't have enough experience with rounding out nails to make them look natural because mine still look a bit square. As she filed them and she asked me if it was round enough, I had to keep telling her more round, but in the end I just settled for what I got. My sister, on the other hand (no pun intended), wanted a coffin shape with a simple, single stripe chevron design, but when she showed them a picture of what she wanted, she was disappointed to hear that it would take too long and it would be too hard. Too hard for two diagonal lines? Maybe they ought to practice their skills, then. I didn't think she was asking for too much, and like me, she just settled for what she got. Now, I'm satisfied with the quality of my nails (I did just ask for the colors, no designs whatsoever), but I'm not satisfied with the service. My favorite neighborhood nail salon. I've never had an appointment, and even on a busy Saturday morning, I've only had to wait 10-15 minutes. Clean, well-organized, a wide selection of colors, and most importantly, a great pedicure ($25). They take great pride in their work, and between the massage chairs and the wonderful leg and foot massage, it is pretty darn blissful. The eyebrow waxing ($12) is pretty good as well, but the room is a little claustrophobic and not quite as nice as the rest of the salon.
