This place needs to be boycotted. If I could put ZERO stars on this place I would. Advertises one thing and delivers another. Crappy room. Crappy bed. No place to put toiletries. No couch or chairs. Parking was a nightmare. The room was 12 x 10 if that. We placed a hanger on the door to have our room cleaned and they didn't bother. When the reservation was made there was NO explanation in the difference between rooms with one bed and rooms with two. Apparently the ones with 2 rooms are larger and actually comfortable. We spent an agonizing 2 nights there and will NEVER be back. VERY overpriced for what you get. I can see why they make their fees non-refundable because if you walked in to this you would definitely want your money back. What a rip off. read more

Dropped in to check on availability last Saturday. Got a room from Juliette, who was very nice. No discussion regarding "non-refundable" policy. Less than an hour, we had an emergency and had to go back to Miami. We called, asked for a credit. "No credit!" As locals, who also own FL Keys properties, this was shameful! Very clean, quaint spot. Good value for the money. Very cool air conditioner. We slept sound and cool. They have a restaurant on the water that is nice. We enjoyed breakfast there. I give four stars only because the cleaning/custodial staff started cleaning and would yell to each other around 8:00 am. They need to be more cognizant of the fact that patrons could hear them and may want to sleep in later than 8:00 am. Other than that, awesome place to stay. read more

Great room right on the canal. Updated and very very clean! Housekeeping was great. Bar and restaurants on site, right on the water. Paddle boarding available on site as well. Not one single complaint. If you're looking for a fancy hotel this is not it. This is a quaint motel with all the basics that you would need. Would definitely stay again! read more

Our stay was wonderful. The room was renovated and clean . The ac is quiet and the bathroom was pretty. The light sea foam walls in room made it feel beachy. The king size bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room had a nice sized terrace facing canal and we watched the boats parade by. We paid $261,not bad for last minute. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. FYI They have a strict 3pm checkin rule. The restaurant downstairs was also enjoyable. We will be back. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place. No wonder it was available. Strict NO early check in policy and 30 minutes for a late checkout. Had to wait around until 3 to check in. A whole hotel full of cleaned empty rooms (windows left open, I checked, empty rooms!!) just sitting there all day, while guests sit and wait by the lobby for 3 pm? Never experienced that before!! Had to change clothes and use the bathroom repeatedly in the under construction lobby bathroom, had to ask for soap and no paper towels. Yes ok the canal is nice to pull your boat up, but there's still a ridiculous dockage fee and you want to unload all expensive gear. Rooms appear clean, tile floor and white sheets are nice, but bare feet turn black. Rooms upstairs are tiny, not room for a chair?! Pool is a joke unless you're under 5. Office is closed until they decide to arrive in the morning, so if you need anything you're screwed. Finding a Resort/Marina with decent service standards next time, not an Inn or a Motel. read more

This place was amazing. The only things keeping it from a 5 Star review are that the beds could be more comfortable, the pool could be heated, the showers are small and need a curved rod and better tile job, a 24 hour front desk, and the rooms have an actual key instead of a key card (which I'm not a fan of). However, this place was GREAT!! We chose the less expensive room with no view because we planned to stay for one night, arriving late and leaving early. We loved it so ended up staying an extra night. The best things about this place: the staff was amazing, it's super clean, the dock... the dock was our favorite. It's located right off the main road and there is a dock that runs from the hotel to a little beach at the end. It's probably 1/4 mike or longer. It runs past the hotel, a place we had great breakfast every morning (made 2 order), a fresh fish market, a salon, snorkel and scuba excursion shop, and paddle the keys. We loved the fish market, they had an amazing selection and brought fresh caught live lobster in every morning. Paddle the keys was an amazing experience also, we rented a kayak for 35$/day. The hotel was a great location, staff was friendly and though not all of them spoke English they would always get us to someone who Could. They made great dinner recommendations and were very familiar with the area. Of all the places to stay, especially for the price, we will be back! This will always be a must stay stop on our travels to key west! read more

The place is actually ok. Nothing fancy but it has the minimum stuff and it's clean. We had a room facing the canal which was nice. If you face the motorway is instead a bit noisy. My main complain is about the people working at the reception. When we arrived there was a girl who gave us the key and was keeping checking her phone. She gave us only some short answers because i was asking info on the area. Not the best person to greet new costumers. When we left the day after I forgot my drive licence at the reception. They told me it was mandatory i had to leave it there for the check in and they forgot too, to give me that back. At night time I called and sent an email with all my info so for them to mail it back to me, the guy on the phone said everything was ok. I called after 3 days to make sure it was on its way and instead it was still there at the reception! the guy on the phone was not very polite and he said they don't mail anything and I had to call postnet.com to send somebody to pick it up! seriously?! First if that is the case why you didn't tell me on Friday? second I offered to paid for the shipment and they refuse to send a mail? not a great way to treat costumers. If you don't find a better place the location is not bad but don't expect smiling people who wanna help and want you go back there. read more

So, I did not stay here. However, I had reservations and due to the endless rain we've been getting in South Florida , I cancelled our reservation in the required amount of time to get my full one night's refund. After about five business days I still had not received a credit back to my account so I emailed Creekside Inn . They responded and told me it would take three weeks to credit my account ,thats their policy. So, beware that if you need to cancel, and do it by their rules , you get your money back when they are ready. read more

Very rude receptionist. Very noisy rooms. Music blaring at midnight in the next room. No phone in room to call. Front desk is not 24 hours. I would suggest stay anywhere but here! Our stay at Creekside Inn has been one of the worst vacation experiences of my life! We drove 7 hours to visit the Keys to celebrate my friends 30th birthday and had an issue with a booking that left us looking for a place to stay last minute for around the same price as our other booking and explained to the Creekside Inn staff member the experience we already had. We checked in for a 3 night stay and paid upfront for our room. On the 3rd day of our trip we got a phone call at noon after we had driven an hour away to visit Sombrero Beach and told we were supposed to have been out of our room that morning, when we had another night left for our 3 night stay. We explained this to the Creekside Inn staff member and he said we checked in Thursday, August 16th for 3 nights so we should be checked out August 19th... August 16th was on a Wednesday and we were not even in the Keys on Wednesday, August 16th... we arrived on THURSDAY AUGUST, 17 and booked our room Thursday, August 17 until Sunday, August 20th... and PAID! If your hotel staff member that made our reservation messed up, you do not take it out on your customer. The staff member then said he would get to the bottom of it and came back and said the exact same thing again and tried arguing with us that August 16th was a Thursday. Then we were told we could not speak to a manager or owner, that they're not on site and we needed to email them first and then would hear back from them. We emailed them and wanted to enjoy our friends birthday celebration and the beach and not be stressed out by this while we waited to hear back. The manager/owner then called us back and was extremely rude and told us we needed to pay $286 for another nights stay. We told them we were not paying $286 and would move somewhere else with more amenities for that price. The owner/manager then told us it didn't matter if we stayed or not that they were still charging $286 for a night because we had our stuff in the room after their check out time... we were never even called until noon and didn't hear back from a manager until almost 2:00. The prices on Expedia and other sites show $143 & $158 for tonight and Hotel Tonight has it at $179, so the owner telling us we would be charged $286 for a night is absolutely insane!! Their business practice is the worst I've ever experienced and you can find a much better place to stay with more amenities than Creekside Inn. I will never ever recommend staying here and will be telling everyone I know about this terrible experience. Besides the horrible experience with the staff and owner/manager.. the hotel room is comparable to a motel, the bed was super firm and uncomfortable and I did not sleep well because of the bed and noise from all the cars driving on US-1. Save your money and book at a better place! read more

Convenient location but beware of signing nonrefundable agreements. Room #33 was super small with no windows low enough to see our "waterfront" view much less escape from in case of fire. Their "kitchen" consisted of a coffee pot stacked on a microwave stacked on a small fridge. Will be counting the bruises from squeezing around the furniture for s couple of weeks. read more

This hotel cost me almost 300 dollars for one night, the toilet didn't flush well and had cold water in the bathroom, I had cold shower at night and morning. I did mention when checking out about the room bathroom not having hot water in shower and she mentioned that their hotel pipes had issues. Also the bed blankets had hairs all over which was pretty disgusting. The location is nice but not with all the broken pipes and dirty blankets. read more

The smoke alarm was beeping from the first step into the room. Removed the battery but it kept on beeping so I had to disconnect it from the hard wire. The toilet wouldn't flush so I had to put up with poop stink in the room all night long. The AC had an annoying bright light like a neon sign right next to the bed. The ice bucket had a crack on the bottom which leaked water everywhere. The refrigerator was so loud I had to disconnect it. Went to the lobby to complain about the problems but it was closed. Next morning I complained but no Manager was available to discuss the problems. Gave my cell number and asked for the management to call me but 8 hours later, no call. They gal in the lobby refused any discount because it had been booked online. Not EVER coming back. read more

I recently had my wedding in Islamorada this past weekend. Our original hotel was 4 feet under water. We needed to find a hotel to accommodate 8 rooms in a pinch. I found Creekside Inn online and instantly inquired. I was pleased to speak with Valeria, one of the managers. She booked all 8 rooms in an hour. She saved our wedding. Upon checking in, we were greeted by Darlene. She was amazing. She is the most wonderful young lady. She made sure all of my guests were well taken care of. She went the extra mile. Even when rain was predicted for the wedding day, she comforted me with positivity and gave me hope. I truly believe that she played a big role on my wedding weekend being a success. The weather was amazing and we were able To enjoy the property. We had a BBQ in Their BBQ area, sat outside marina side at night and looked at the stars, enjoyed the pools, my favorite was the waterfall pool by the lobby. And the best part was the resturant, Maid to Order. It's in between the 2 buildings of the hotel. We met every morning for breakfast. How convienent is that. The towels were always replenished, rooms were a great size. And clean and modern. This place was perfect for my family and we are so grateful for finding it online. Just checked in room is so so so tiny no we're to put stuff in the bathroom no tub and no phone to call front desk there a tiny closet but a small fridge takes up the closet only two towels the internet is horrible and the tv changes Chanel's by itself and does not come on afterwards the young lady at the lobby who I had to call with my cell was nice but could do nothing what I am paying 200 a night is ridiculous for what it is I was told to take care of the key 200 dollars if lost is a house key the room is clean and looks good but so small I no we're to put luggage the bathroom sink is a small tiny tiny tiny pedestal no we're to put toothbrush or toothpaste no we're to put shampoos in shower only on floor not happy no manager only young girl in front desk really dissatisfied with hotel so far not a hotel more like a hostel no hostels have better service and are much cheaper I will never come back again read more

My husband and i booked a vacation at Creekside Inn at Islamorada. we were very excited we go every year. we booked the trip through a 3rd party and it was non-refundable which was fine we didn't plan on canceling. My husband went to the doctor and now has to have emergency surgery on his heart. I called the 3rd party to see if i could cancel and explained the problem, they were more then willing to work with me as for as canceling because of the situation but they could not get a hold of the hotel. I called the 3rd party to see what was going on but they could not get them on the phone so they asked me to call. when i called and explained the problem they were not willing to help me in any way. they would not change the dates or refund me the money. all they were willing to do was give me a 30% discount on my next stay. My husband now has medical bills due to this surgery and i really can't afford this added expense. read more

We had a wonderful stay at the Creekside Inn, and the prices were very reasonable!! Our room was right on the canal, and we sat on the balcony every morning and night. The rooms are spacious, parking was never a problem, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was well-maintained and clean. There were several places to sit and enjoy the view, as well as a great barbecue area. The restaurant was delicious and we ate breakfast there several times! Very terrible experience. Called the hotel and only stayed one night. Since I was there with my girl and two teen agers I asked how many keys one can order. They had 3 or 4 keys that could be used. I asked for 2 keys. I came in at 10:30pm and the attendant said he would leave at 11pm sharp. After that there is no one available. He wasn't kidding. No one was around and I called the main number to see if I could get another towel since there were 4 of us and only had 3 towels in the room. The sofa bed squeaked like hell and was uncomfortable to have your blood rushing to your head due to the angle. Morning came and everyone was up by 7am to get the rental boat across the street by 8am. apparently there is no staff around and office doesn't open until 8am (no extra towel). Room was decent but too expensive for what it was. Dark scum in the grout in the bathroom, shower area also had soap or black scum in grout. I left with the keys in my pocket. That same day (saturday) after the boat trip I called the attendant to let them know I had the key in my pocket. He said, don't worry about it. I can mail the keys on Monday and call to give the tracking number. I asked would I be charged, he said no, don't worry about it. Monday I call to let them know the tracking number and they give me some sob story they had to use some locksmith since I had the only keys. I told her I'm sorry but the attendant told me you had more, not only that but to call when I mailed the keys. I wouldn't be charged. With the lady at the front desk "Victory" (sassy as can be), said too bad, we are passing the charge to you of $200 for the locksmith, after I was charged $200 per night (grand total $407 cost just to stay there. After they have not given me the proper towels, staff not available at night, and they go back on their promise. BEWARE, They are LIARS, Cheapskates that will steel your money. read more
