I like this place but for some reason the pizza's really inconsistent. It's like they have two different people who make the pizza and they both do it completely differently. Sometimes the pizzas really good and has plenty of cheese and isn't overcooked, then the other half of the time it's overcooked and has no cheese. Even when ordered with extra cheese. Pretty frustrating when a large pepperoni pizza is $30. If they could fix this, the place would have by far the best pizza in the area. read more

The pizzas are fantastic. They come out hot and with plenty of yummy red sauce and generous toppings. The Creekside salad is crave-able. Plus its big enough to be shareable. The atmosphere is admittedly dark and beer-y, but isn't that what you want when going out for pizza and beer? After seeing my review of his restaurant, the owner sent me an intimidating message. In it, he denied responsibility for his staff and contractor's behavior, threatened and insulted me for speaking up, and tried to emotionally strong-arm me into taking down my review. His language was consistently accusatory, derogatory, and dismissive. I told him simply to stop harassing me. It is a good thing that Yelp exists so business owners like this guy can't force customers to remove or change their reviews when speaking out reveals bad business. read more

I had a pizza delivered in that past but today after ordering and processing payment a not so pleasant lady called back and said they were too busy to deliver to my house. I told them I would give them a big tip if they would and still no delivery. Creekside pizza is the best place to go for munchies because they are open until one in the morning, plus they serve pizza by the slice, as well as whole pies. The pizza by the slice had two different menus: One for their regular pizza, and one for the specials pizza. I went for their specials menu. I had their vegetarian pizza, and their meat lovers pizza. Both slices were huge, and both tasted amazing, though I was more partial to the meat lovers. We shared a basket of yammers (sweet potato fries), because we couldn't wait five minutes for our slices of pizza. These were the best damn sweet potato fries I have ever had. They were hot, fresh, and the flavor was out of this world. The dipping sauces (cardomam ketchup and chipotle ranch) were out of this world. The pizza was good, but the fries were better. We shared a 'pink lady', which was basically alcoholic sugar in glass. It didn't taste much like alcohol - yay - but it does have the effects of alcohol. After a few sips I definitely had a buzz going. This is probably my number one late night munchie spot in Ashland. read more

The food is pretty good, but I wouldn't say it's delicious, this pizza sauce is a bit bland. Ranch & Chipotle Ranch help, cause they are very tasty. It kind of feels like this place is going downhill, unfortunately. We were recently treated poorly by the staff. It's a shame when restaurants have managers that set such an unprofessional tone for the rest of the staff. That seemed to maybe be in play here, but it's still no excuse for bad service from our server. Not to mention, she pulled a pretty cringe-worthy stunt one of the bills. read more

I've eaten at Creekside or ordered delivery a bunch of times and while it's never really consistent, sometimes good, sometimes, okay. This time was awful. Order a calzone and the walnut pear salad. It showed up 45 minutes past the delivery expected time. The salad had no walnuts and finally the calzone had two long hairs in it. Neither my wife or I have long hair. Pretty disgusting. Yet another excellent and accidental find in Ashland. I'm not a big pizza patron, so when I'm going out, I generally pick something else as a first choice. But tonight, thanks to wildfires, dangerously high levels of smoke in the air, and yes the handicap license plate is for asthma, thanks for asking.... I pulled up the Yelp window and asked for restaurants that deliver in Ashland. And Creekside Pizza had the highest rating and the best looking menu on their web page. They delivered free to our motel room door -- and the food was excellent. Husband wanted his standby fave pizza -- plain cheese. His 14" thin and very delicately crispy crust pizza was $14.50 -- and he ate it all except for the piece I stole. I ordered a "Jose's Pear Walnut Salad" -- with chicken and balsamic vinegrette -- and this is the best restaurant salad I've had all summer. Organic greens, candied walnuts, blue cheese, plus a beautiful pear sliced thin -- and an equally beautiful chicken breast (tender and juicy) also sliced very thin -- so pretty I took this salad's picture and posted it here..... Took awhile to find Creekside but well worth the trouble since this pizza is the best. We were staying at the plaza and the creekside bistro is just right across the parking lot (note, the restaurant is downstairs in the same complex as Agave). We got 2 slices of cheese pizza to go--they also have a lunch special, 1 slice of pizza, drink and salad for $5.75--smoking deal since the pizza slices are HUGE. The crust is nice, just the right amount of crispness and not too soggy or chewy. Oh my. FYI, pizza slices are served during lunchtime only. For dinner you need to purchase an entire pie. A suggestion, order early, especially on a friday or Saturday evening. It does take awhile, but totally worth it. They also have a little bar and it's open until 1:00 am but not sure if they make pizza that late. Hopefuly they do though. read more

The pizza here is pretty good. The one that stood out the most was the pizza with breaded eggplant... can't remember the name. The stuff is great on it's own, so why not throw it on top of a pizza? It totally works! The eggplant was flavorful and added something unique and delicious. I also tried a couple of their salads, which were pretty good, but nothing special. Service is very friendly and prices are reasonable. The place is a little hidden, so make sure you go down the stairs and head towards the creek. We were on a road trip and weren't sure what would be open the day before Independence Day, the 20th anniversary of when Will Smith saved the world from aliens. I saw that Creekside had some great reviews and gave them a call. They were open and the lady on the other line was super energetic and friendly. We placed an order 30 minutes out from Ashland and they had the 'za (legit Bananagrams word) ready for us when we arrived. We got half Deadwood (BBQ Chicken) and half Combo Classico (everything). Price was $25.99 for an 18 inch. The pizza was good, lots of toppings, but the crust could have been better. Creek side has the best pizza in town, and open late, really convenient for those of us who work late hours in town. I like coming here after my shift is over at work, as late as 11pm. I work in the service industry. Honestly I felt offended and compelled enough to write this review after the attitude and treatment I got from one of the bartenders there, so far it's been more than once. This late night was the last straw for me. For some reason she always has this attitude I'm not sure why she's projecting. She seems annoyed I order half pints of beer and not full ones. I can't always afford the full ones since I simply don't make tons of money. This bartender actually served me stale beer that tasted like it was sitting out on the bar for hours. Really really gross and bad that I'm still tasting it in my mouth. Worst fear it was something worse than stale beer... I used to be a bartender and know what stale beer tastes like. When I asked her why it tasted so bad she insisted she poured it from the tap. I asked for another pour and watched her this time so she had to pour it from the tap. It was a totally different color than from what she served me, yet she still insisted it was the same beer she poured from tap, and no apology while I had this disgusting stale beer taste in my mouth. It was obvious to me she was lying. I'm really surprised at why I got this attitude from this red haired bartender when I've always tipped when I order there. Confused about it, but I'll still come here cause I like this spot for late night dinner when I can't eat at work. I simply just won't order from this bartender anymore or will refuse to tip. Nice location, downstairs and tucked behind the main front buildings. It's situated right next to a small bubbling creek, so sit outside or by the window and enjoy a calming view (otherwise it just feels like a dark pub or bar). Service is prompt and friendly in a laid back way. One 14inch pizza plus shared salad was perfect for the two of us (Big guy with a big appetite and medium girl with small appetite. lol). The salad came out first and it was a standard Ceasar, creamy and cool but not too zesty (I would have liked a little more garlic and anchovy personally, but it was good). The pizza was a nice chewy crisp crusted Margharita style with juicy tomatoes, garlic, basil, and mozz. The crust was slightly too thick to work with these toppings imo, I prefer a very thin crust for this style, but overall the crust was great. Would have been fantastic with a spicy meat topping. This place is loud & jam-packed, but- surprisingly- you can still hear the music playing overhead. The staff is on point & super chill, friendly, too. I got an Irish coffee & kalúa- they were sweet to ask about whipped cream & the type of whiskey! A nice & hearty mug- not bad for $7.50! Also got a slice of their meat special- with Canadian bacon, prosciutto & fresh garlic... they top the mammoth off with parsley for a pop of color- not like it needs it, with how pretty this slice is! We were at the bar and politely sat down waiting for the bartender but haven't gotten service for 10min when it wasn't busy. They also avoided eye contact with us. The blonde bartender charged us $13 dollars for 2 draft beers and 1 pizza when the price of 1 pizza and 1 beer costs $6. Which must mean regular price for draft beer costs $7. We were curious so we asked one of the staffs and he told us that it was normally $5-6 when it's not happy hour. Besides the blonde bartender trying to charge us more than what it typically costs, she also gave us terrible service trying to prove us wrong and tells me that the kitchen is closed without even checking. Creekside is my favorite place to grab pizza anc s beer in Ashland. If you like bbq chicken pizza try the Deadwood it won't disappoint. If you're by yourself try a calzone, it will feed two people and is very reasonably priced. If your into salad try the Walnut pear salad, the combination of candied walnuts, pears and blue cheese crumbles really make it pop. Creekside also makes some of the best cocktails in town, try the Creekside lemonade an old Creekside classic. The beer lineup is also one of the best in town featuring many regional craft brewery's and something for everyone's palate. The best part of the Creekside is the staff. Chris and Carlie and the rest of the staff are always warm and welcoming. Be aware, Creekside can get busy during the dinner rush but that's only because it is so good! read more

Creeekside is the best low key bar on ashland. Its a great place to get a bite and a drink and its one of the few places serving food late in Ashland. They serve big drinks that are very inexpensive and certainly worth the price. Very chill great atmosphere and great service. It very much feels like a college town bar. Its the chillest place to hang out late at night in Ashland. Really great pizza by the slice. I don't know what was happening with the bartender, Jennifer, but she seemed far more interested in flirting with the male customers and setting up dates with a few of them for later, than doing her job. Pizza is pretty good. Lunch special is excellent with inconsistent service- sometimes awesome and sometimes really slow. Unfortunately I've had frustrating experiences trying to order pizza to-go here. Today I called in and was told I could pick up my order in 30 minutes. When I got to the restaurant with young hungry child in tow, I was told that it would be another 20 minutes because a big takeout order had come in before mine. Quick shrug and then ignored. At $54 for 2 pizzas and a really challenging location for parking, I give up. I'll go somewhere else for takeout and save this place for unhurried lunches only. read more
