Creekstone Inn is a nice getaway location in Pigeon Forge. We loved the free, hot and fresh breakfast. The breakfast workers were awesome! The king size bed was very comfortable. The balcony that has a direct view of the river is wonderful. Two rocking chairs on each balcony is so nice to come back to after a long day of running around. They offer free tube rental for the river which is awesome. My only complaint is the room is a little musty/ weird smelling. It's not the entire suite, but the larger bedroom has had an unpleasant odor the entire stay. Even with this, I would recommend this location. It's really close to the Gatlinburg side of Pigeon Forge so it's easily accessible to everything around, yet it's tucked off the main strip, which we liked a lot. read more

This hotel was amazing. We spent hours and hours either playing in the creek or sitting on our balcony talking while listening to it. The thing that really shines about this place is the service. They did something for us even though it was against their official policy. Also, everyone was very friendly, especially the people in the breakfast area. We were notified less than 2 hours before check-in at our contracted hotel, Comfort Inn Suites Hotel, that we were being switched to The Creekstone Inn. The Creekstone Inn was significantly less expensive and had lower ratings. Creekstone Inn could not accommodate us for breakfast making it necessary for us to be bused to and from the convention center every day for a very confining and unsatisfactory breakfast. Not only was The Creekstone Inn a DUMP it was not safe! Electrical outlets hung out of the walls, the safe hung out of the wall, holes in plaster, filthy carpet, unresponsive management, etc. read more

I planned my family vacation here. We came from Illinois so I didn't know the area at all. It seemed nice with Free breakfast and WiFi and had the lazy river. The only bad things about here was that the second building which we stayed in that had the kitchen in it was so far away. You almost had to drive but when u drove there wasn't much parking. So for breakfast we had to drive there to use the pool it was a long walk because I didn't want to get the rental car wet. When I first got in the room I found hair in the sheets and had to call for new sheets which I just put on myself. The price was fair and it was close to things and quite for the post part. I did enjoy the balcony in each room that over looked the lazy river with the animals that live there. And the shower head had nice water pressure which was nice. The room seemed like it could of used some tlc and paint. I probably wouldn't stay there again but for a nice budget hotel it was nice. Just needs to accommodate better. read more

We stayed here for the first time this past weekend and it was a great stay. We always check reviews prior to booking and I saw several mentions of the place being "old." It concerned me a bit but honestly we have stayed in this area many times and i've stayed at some really old places. This was probably remodeled within the last 7-10 years. Everything here was fantastic. The bed slept great. Room was spotless. Two flat screen TV's in our room. Wifi was good. The staff was excellent. The entire hotel was quiet and we slept well. The creek was a cool thing to wake up and sit outside in the early morning and listen to. We didn't eat the express breakfast. We used the coupon for the free pancakes one morning and that was pretty good. Like any of the million pancake houses around. Definitely will stay here again. read more

When we stayed at Creekstone Inn, we had a choice of their tiny breakfast (think coffee and donuts, and I think oatmeal packets and cereal) or we could use a coupon that they gave us at check-in for the Smoky Mountain Pancake House just across the Parkway at the Rodeway Inn. On our last visit to Pigeon Forge, we opted to try the Smoky Mountain Pancake House. Our coupon was for either $1 off of a menu item or a free stack of 4 buttermilk pancakes per person, so most of us ordered sides only to go with our free pancakes. The coupon is good for the ENTIRE party. Yay! With 6 of us that saved us a lot of money and we really appreciate that. We plan to stay at Creekstone Inn as often as we can on our trips to Pigeon Forge to visit my daughter, who works at Dollywood. (Go visit - you won't regret it!) read more

Eh... The staff was nice. Water pressure was ok in shower. Air conditioning worked great! The room is old. The room was pretty clean I guess. You can tell they attempted to refresh and remodel but it was a shoddy job done in my opinion. Mildew was growing in the shower, toilet water seeping at the base of the toilet/floor, front door was extremely difficult to lock, poor lighting in the room. I have stayed in worse, but for $170 it was a rip off. I was originally going to stay at Country Cascades, which we have numerous times and enjoyed it. However due to a schedule change I needed to shift my stay one day but country cascades was full. They offered a room at creekstone for $10 less. I wish I would have just canceled. read more

A couple of issues I will take responsibility for, as I did finally find it on their website. I have never ran in to a hotel that charges you $50 to check in early so I was a bit surprised when at 3pm they still wanted the fee even though rooms were ready. They did allow you to pre register so all you had to do was "pick up your keys" at 4pm. When returning to do so, there was 12 to 20 people deep trying to get checked in, and even had an older lady with scrap paper writing dowm peoples tag numbers to try and help with crowd control. We had booked a king room not knowing that it was in a completely different building, across the river, to which you had to drive through a campground to get through. As I booked it on the pretense that it was a 2.5 million renovated hotel, the bldg we had was certainly far from that. The layout of the room was nice. The bathroom door looked as if someone stood with a paint brush and splattered dirt across it. We never experienced the free breakfast, as it was not accessible by walking from our building. We had 4 adults with varying disabilities and would have had to drive back through the campground to the other road to get to it. The beds were extremely hard, and as someone with 2 back surgeries, quite an unenjoyable experience. Definitely not the experience we were expecting and I have no plans to visit this establishment again. read more

We checked in to the Creekstone Inn at Pigeon Forge this past Monday and checked back out immediately after seeing the condition that the room was in. It was a king/queen/fireplace suite in the supposedly remodeled building. The room did not look anything like it did in the pics. The sheets/comforters were worn out and faded, there was a musty/moldy smell that everyone in our family noticed as soon as we walked in, the bed in the main room was making awful creaky noises after just sitting on it and getting back up, there were 2 flies in the room that would not leave, the bathroom was extremely small (way smaller than anyone can imagine) and quite uncomfortable, and one side of the room was very hot and not cooling down at all. Our family was in complete shock at the room's condition, and after our son started crying from fear of having to stay here, we had to run to check out without even having a place to stay after a 10+ hour drive from Florida. Thankfully we found a last minute amazing rental through Airbnb and we did not have to go back home. I messaged the hotel several times through FB to confirm that they would be reimbursing us as they promised based on their satisfaction guarantee, and they did not respond to us. This place is an old motel that is supposed to have been remodeled, but the current condition of the room we got is poor, and we would not advice anyone to stay here. read more

I have stayed here 4 times now. Never had any issues. Rooms are always clean. Not the newest and up to date facilty but all we do is sleep there. Love the balcony over the river and the smell of fires burning. If your looking for Hilton conditions, this is not your place, if your looking for a well kept up place for the money and clean rooms I would suggest it. Never had an issue in 4 trips. read more

I've stayed here two winters in a row now, and I love this hotel! The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The sheets and curtains are a little worn and dated, but I honestly do not care. The in-room Jacuzzi is great, the TV right in front of the Jacuzzi is awesome, and I love the balconies. This is not the most luxurious hotel you'll ever stay in, so don't expect it to be. But it's comfortable and the location is great. Free breakfast is also a plus! Very nice hotel for the price. The in-room fridge and microwave are also a really great feature. read more

We are currently staying here for our week vacation with our one year old son. The view is great. The RV park is right across the river. The rooms are older but still pretty nice. Hotel staff is nice. They even provided us a crib for our son to sleep in. Only complaint is how small the bathroom is in the room. Other than that it's a great hotel for the price. read more

I have never been to Pigeon Forge before and after debates over where to stay, I settled on Creekstone Inn. Is it the nicest place I've ever stayed? Nope! That doesn't mean it's a bad place though. You really stay at this hotel for the location and the convenience of distance to everything rather than expecting an upscale room. For the price though, this place could not have been beat. Everyone at the front desk at check-in was extremely friendly. Even though I had done research about the area, they still were very patient and answered all questions I had about shows and what to do in the area. The room itself is very basic. We had a jacuzzi room which consisted of the queen bed, an air conditioner that did a decent job of keeping the room cool and a college sized fridge. Now that I think about it, there may have been a microwave as well :) REVIEW: The bed: 3/5. This is just my opinion and nothing says you have to agree. It's a mattress that I felt swallowed me up, VERY plush. I am used to sleeping on a firm mattress so this was difficult for me. The good thing is you are SO TIRED from being out all day that it definitely helped me sleep :) The room: 4/5. No complaints. The water pressure in the shower was nice, the room was a good size, there were 2 TVs with cable. Sitting in the jacuzzi was nice at the end of the day to unwind and have a TV to watch. The room was clean and I had no problems. The balcony: 3.5/5. It's really nice to sit outside, but do not expect any privacy. There is metal lattice-work dividers between the rooms. I felt bad sitting outside and talking to my wife while next door there was a woman sitting outside reading her book. I felt like we were disturbing her. There is also a campground right across the river which was not loud but also meant your river view was being shared by quite a few other families. Breakfast: Room 217 - it's where all the action is! Very basic items. Mini muffins, waffles, oatmeal, juices, coffee. It's very convenient. We were given coupons for free short stacks of pancakes at a restaurant right across the street so ended up going there for a more plentiful breakfast. The area: 5/5. You are right on the strip, it could not be better! You technically could walk to everything but if you do, you are in better shape than I am :) There is some go karts right outside of the hotel, good area for kids. Otherwise you will be driving up and down the 4-ish mile strip of arcades/souvenir shops/shows. Tips from my first time going: Spend a day up and down the Pigeon Forge strip but don't miss out on Gatlinburg. It's only around a 10 minute drive and has another huge strip of things to do. Also, eat at Mel's Diner. It's a few minutes from the hotel and has extremely reasonable prices. The food is amazing there for a diner. Great atmosphere. read more

This is not a bad hotel if you need a clean place to put your belongings and shower and sleep. Not the best place I've stayed but if you have activities planned to consume the day this is a great place to do what I mentioned above. Bathrooms are tiny, just a shower and toilet. If you are over 6ft you might hit your head while showering on the ceiling. The sink for the bathroom is in the center of the room, which I found odd. The curtain above the AC unit was a chore because it was such a light curtain the blower from the unit would get blocked unless to use a shoe or water bottle to keep in on the windowsill. I would like to preface this by saying that I did enjoy sitting out on the balcony listening to the river rush by...with that being said...if you want to stay somewhere where you can get a nice hot (even warm would have been nice) shower then this is definitely not the place to stay. I stayed two nights and each morning I ended up taking a cold shower (and when I say cold I mean I probably could have bathed in the river and been just as warm...and keep in mind it is the first of December)...also one of the beds was either so wore out or so soft that it felt like you were sleeping on a lumpy pillow thrown in the floor. We chose the Creekstone Inn for our over Christmas stay partially based on reviews. We really enjoyed it! The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had fairly new beds and chairs. The balcony was very relaxing and hearing the water go by was cool. It unfortunately rained most of the time we were there. The toilet in the room had a small running problem unless you played with the handle. We didn't use the breakfast room except for coffee. The TVs were fine and shower pressure OK. We used the coupon for breakfast on one of the days. I requested a room near elevator since I had recently had knee surgery and we got a room 1 door down from it. That was great! We got carryout pizza from Big Daddy's Pizzeria that was wonderful! All in all, we would stay here again! read more

Our anglo friends were placed in the renovated building which had plenty space to spare, their room was loght, airy, and clean. We spent two nights here to celebrate our 30th anniversary, and cold not have been more pleased with the value, the view, the convenience, and the staff. We opted for the suite with the separate bedroom and king bed, since I am a much earlier riser than my wife, and that worked out well. The winter rate made it a huge bargain also. We rented a cabin in the Smokey's for 2 nights. We wanted to stay for 3 days, but the cabin wasn't available for all 3 days. We decided we would rent a hotel room close by for our first day. We picked this hotel because of some of the positive reviews we read on here and on their page. We checked in and the people were friendly. When we arrived to our room everything seemed pretty clean for being an older hotel. It wasn't until I went to shower and noticed 2 small roaches on the wall. Instantly I was turned off. Nothing grosses me out as much as roaches do. Then I noticed there was mold growing in the ceiling, the walls in the bathroom were rusty looking and could defiantly use some major remodeling. I then noticed the random sink in the middle of the room was old, scratched and stained. Just looked gross. The baseboards were all messed up and dirty. Then the elevator wasn't working because of all the rain, they couldn't have elevator running, just in case it floods. So I had to carry all my heavy bags up 4 flights of stairs, which sucked. The WiFi barely worked. I didn't sleep well either because I was grossed out and was worrying if more roaches will appear. The blanket is an old heavy/itchy 1980's crappy blanket. I pretty much considered sleeping in my car for the night, but I had already paid for the room. I also would like to say that I'll never be staying here again! This place is on desperate need of renovations and for the price I paid, it was not worth it. These rooms should be listed for around $50/$60 for all the problems. We picked this placed based off other reviews. Check in was by younger employees. We were put on top floor which sounded great, should be nice and quiet. The first night we were awoken by the smell of strong cigarette smoke. It was in the room as if coming from the vents. We are not smokers and it was sickening to us. Had to smell it the rest of the night and the next day. The following evening we went to the front desk and advised her of the complaint. She moved us to another room which did not have that smell. As we went back to get our things it was obvious someone was smoking in the bathroom and the vents were carrying it up into our room. The other room seemed fine at first. But once we settled in we found several roaches on the sink and along the baseboards. We killed them but then had to worry about them getting into our luggage and coming home with us!!! At check out they did not seem to care about any of it or about our total experience. We will NEVER stay here again and will let everyone we know not to do the same! And the WiFi never worked and the ac/heat didn't work effectively so we were chilly most of the night. Just an overall bad experience read more

Stayed here for 4 nights with my family and it was ok for the price . There are two separate buildings so if you get the second building (which are the bigger rooms) you have to either drive or walk a street down to the main office or the pool area. We had to drive because we have small children, the free breakfast is taken to your room and you can choose the time frames . The breakfast was very very mediocre two sausage links , eggs that were very gross , a stale hard biscuit , and we got apples every single day we only ate the first morning there . They also provide floaters so you can tube down the river they have bigger ones for adults and small ones for children every time we tried to get one all the adult ones were taken ! They need to limit per family according to adults and children sizing because an adult will not fit in the smaller ones. Our toilet in the room would not flush properly and we had to wait to flush again ! The elevator is also very very slow, The beds were comfortable but we woke up itchy every morning . Now the front desk people were nice and professional, but other than that it needs some work ! read more

We got a deal here to come. And I definitely would have paid a little more to have a better experience. It's an older hotel, which was fine. But what was frustrating were some of the accommodations. The internet didn't work 90% of the time we were here. The air only goes through half the room because the rooms are somewhat divided. The toilet is very loud and goes off every 45 minutes and woke us up. The views look much better online than in person. The patio didn't have privacy. Breakfast was good and the pool was fine. Worst experience I've ever had in a hotel and I travel relatively often.. The room is extremely small. The bathroom is so tiny that you can't even change in it. There are bugs in the room. Walls were so thin that I couldn't sleep because the room next door decided to party all night (including unruly behavior - banging on railing outside, smashing head against the wall and then yelling "I HIT MY HEAD!!". I called the hotel to complain and it seems like they just called the room and when they didn't answer they just didn't care. When I checked out, the hotel staff said they can't control other people - which is true to an extent. Needless to say their customer service is extremely lacking. Also, the race track across the street can be heard inside the room. Kept hearing "SLOW DOWN, SLOW DOWN" over and over again. The wonderful "view" that they boast of is of the RV campground. I could go on and on here...the basic accommodations that are expected from even the most basic hotels, this place does not have. I am traveling with my grandmother and they did not even have a luggage cart for us to haul our luggage up to the room with. Ended up getting the rest of the stay refunded and booked the Mainstays Suites 5 minutes down the road. Paid $115 at the Creekstone Inn and now paying $87 at Mainstays for a room 3x the size as Creekstone, full size fridge, kitchenette, no bugs, bathroom is huge, they have several luggage carts, indoor pool, fitness center, and slept like a baby because the walls are actually built for a hotel - couldn't hear a single thing. read more

Our visit started our great. We here even planning on staying again on our next trip. But after day 3 of our trip we came back to the room to find my brand new Apple phone charger was stolen and replaced with a broke very old dirty one. When I went to the manager about it only to request that housekeeping not come back in our room for the rest of our stay. He basically told me I was lying and his housekeeper had no reason to take it. And maybe it was one of my girls. (Who was with me all day) needless to say we will not be staying again. I never wanted to accuse anyone of stealing. All I wanted was not to have housekeeping in the room for the rest of our stay. I did not feel comfortable with that. read more

We really enjoyed our stay here. I was a travel agent for 20 years, so I have stayed at many hotels and this one wasn't a Four Seasons, but well worth the money. I can't tell you much about the pool or breakfast because we didn't take advantage of either, but I thought the location was nice and the balcony overlooking the creek is very peaceful and beautiful. We stayed in a kitchenette and the room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. The only issue we had was that the air conditioning wasn't the best and it didn't cool our sitting area very well. We will definitely be returning again in October. read more

Absolutely great for the money! It has microwave , fridge and two TV's . They also have a very clean and well kept pool. It's also very close to Dollywood and many other attractions. It has become my favorite place to stay. I wish I had known about it before now. They offered late check out and gave us a can of candy as a parting gift. Loved it!! read more

This place is so relaxing to stay at. I've been staying at this hotel every time I'm in the area for 22 years now. I usually make at least 1 trip a year to the area, sometimes 2-3 per year and as long as I can get a room here, I don't stay anywhere else. If they happen to be booked up, I'll take it day by day in another hotel, until I can get a room at this hotel. No trip is complete until I've stayed here. It can be difficult to find if you don't know where to look since it sits back from the main road. That is part of what makes it so relaxing though. You can bypass the traffic on the main road by running River Road to almost anywhere you want to go. Every room has a balcony overlooking the Little Pigeon River. It is extremely peaceful to sit on the balcony and listen to the creek as it runs directly behind the hotel. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel with all the amenities, this place probably isn't for you, it's no Ritz Carlton. The rooms however, have always been clean with comfortable beds and you can't beat the view from your balcony. read more
