I went to the Creekview last night with a friend -- we both hadn't been there in many years! We sat at the very back of the restaurant in their enclosed patio type room, right next to Ellicott Creek, which was very nice. As you can see by my photos, we tried a lot of food, and I didn't even capture it all! We tried their fried calamari, baked artichoke, spinach and brie dip, bruschetta, scallops and risotto, meatball sliders with parmesan truffle fries, strip steak sandwich with spinach and calf liver. With the steak sandwich we ordered sweet potato fries as our side and with the liver we opted for mashed potatoes on the side and it also came with mixed vegetables as well. Oh, you can't forget our two Pepsi's with unlimited refills. HUGE Pepsi fans here There was not one single thing that we weren't pleased with. Girlfriends impromptu lunch ! I have always looked at this place but never stopped in. So we decided to meet here for drinks, lunch and conversation. The waitress was nice she helped us with selecting some of the items that were favorites. I selected a turkey club sandwich and fries. The sandwich was huge! We all had some really great selections and not one of us was disappointed in what we recieved. This restaurant is an older one in Williamsville and quite popular. Came in for lunch during the week with a group, and they were very accommodating. Even though they were busy, our waitress came by often to check on us, and our food and drinks came out quickly too. It was a Friday during Lent so the specials menu had a lot of seafood items on it. I ordered the salmon with the potato pancake from the specials menu, and it was absolutely delicious and beautifully plated too! The potato pancake was deep fried, not like the potato pancake I'm used to, but it was flavorful and paired well with the salmon. However my first impression when my food came out was that I was going to leave hungry though (because it didn't seem like a lot), so I ended up placing a last minute order of sweet potato fries. In hindsight, I probably would've been fine without the fries, but they were still tasty. Surprised they didn't come with a side of honey though. Everyone else in our group enjoyed their meals too. Oh my oh my, This has been my favorite restaurant in Williamsville for a LONG time! The absolute best part of this restaurant is the atmosphere, make sure you reserve a seat next to the creek! It's wonderful, you get to see the waterfall and the brewery next door. The food itself is also fantastic, they have a pretty big menu with a ton of variety with anything from pasta, to sandwiches, to small plates and seafood. You really can't go wrong here, there is something for everyone. I also love the bar area, it is nice and cozy and their drinks change with the season! The decor was nice for the holidays, atmosphere in the restaurant extremely loud, and for a quaint place in Williamsville reminded me of a sports bar. I understand they have an outdoor patio, may want to check draft by the front of restaurant as all tables around stated it was a chill. If the restaurant wasnt busy we would have switched seats. A bit disappointed in my recent visit. We went in a Friday and it was a busy but were seated within minutes. Our table was in the area you first walk in but there wasn't any heat and we were a bit chilly. We ordered 2 appetizers- calamari and stuffed peppers. Both were delicious. The calamari were fried perfectly and pepper's although baked in grease were good. The main course is were the issue was. I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich with potatoes. It was smoothed in so much gravy it was almost inedible. The potatoes were a bit cold and not very flavorful. Another member ordered a steak sandwich and he thought it was just ok. We were happy to get a last minute reservation on a Friday night. Having been out taking care of other business we didn't make arrangements earlier as our schedule was unknown. There is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant that is used by multiple businesses and another restaurant in the vicinity. The lot was crowded but plenty of spaces were still available. We were seated promptly at our reserved time. Proper social distancing and hygiene precautions are appearing to be followed. Our server quickly came to our table for our drink orders. He was polite and inquired as to if we had any questions pertaining to the menu. He provided us with a small basket of warm bread and butter while waiting for our meals. I liked that he asked us if we wanted the bread. I feel that often bread is provided and potentially wasted by those who don't want it. My wife and I started out by splitting a spinach salad with warm bacon dressing. We were pleasantly surprised when served that it had been very nicely split into two separate servings that each could have been mistaken for a single order. The salad was very good with each plate containing a whole sliced mushroom, a whole sliced egg, mandarin oranges, onions, blue cheese crumbles, a small cup of a very delicious warm dressing and spinach. I hadn't had a spinach and warm bacon dressing in quite a while and found this one to be quite enjoyable. Our meals were served with a choice of soup or salad, both of us having had the spinach salad went with their New England clam chowder. Manhattan clam chowder was also available. We both enjoyed the chowder and found it to be a bit different from what we were used to, not in a bad way, just different. We think there was a slight taste of fresh peppers in the chowder. For our meals my wife chose a crab stuffed haddock that was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. She found her meal to be very good. It was portioned enough that she was able to eat the leftovers for lunch the next day. I chose the scarlet snapper with sweet pea risotto. I found this to be very good but was a bit disappointed that while the snapper was piping hot the risotto was served at slightly above room temperature. I couldn't see sending it back as the fish was perfect and I felt that any attention correcting the risotto could diminish the quality of the snapper. The meal was still good but in my estimation both the risotto and the snapper should have been served hot. We enjoyed our evening and felt safe with the precautions the staff were taking. Our meal was served at a pace that we didn't feel rushed and our server was polite and attentive. If in the Williamsville area again I would consider dining here again. read more

Got the pizza pierogies, stuffed peppers and calamari to start. They were large portions enough to share. The french onion soup had nice flavor and very cheesy. The side salad was great with a little bit of everything on it and the ranch dressing was some of the best I've had. The filet mignon was tasty and the creamiest mashed potatoes. Restaurant could use a DEEP clean. When asking for clean silverware,waitress rolled her eyes..we then heard her talking poorly about us with her coworkers AND manager ..very unprofessional. We walked out on the covered porch with fans blowing and immediately were met with flies. Swarmed with flies and no AC. They only had 1 fan going. Waitress was slow and the food was awful. The mushroom risotto was uncooked and crunchy with dirt still on the mushrooms. I was going to send it back but no waitress in site and I was hungry. My husband ordered the seafood platter. You can find much bigger and tastier fish frys for much less. The Scallop and Shrimp cooked correcty but the wine wasn't reduced enough and the panko on top wasn't crispy but soggy. I had dinner with my mom and aunt at Creekview on a Sunday evening. It was super busy, but our food was great! The restaurant is quaint and charming. The room overlooking the creek is especially pretty. Our table began with the potato & cheddar pierogi plate as an appetizer. This was the best part of my meal! The pierogi were delicious and cripsy- perfectly cooked! I ordered the pizza gnocchi small plate as my meal. It was amazing, but very heavy. I could only eat about half of it and it was a small serving. I think it would be better split between a few people. My mom also loved her salmon entree with risotto. My aunt's chicken parmesan was excellent. For dessert, we split the salted caramel cheesecake- it was heavenly! All of the desserts are made in house, which is always appreciated. I will certainly be back to Creekview to try the other enticing menu items. They have a lot of unique options! My only complaint about Creekview is that the service could use improvement. While this is not a "gourmet" restaurant, it does a fine job with traditional family style dining. The food quality is great. Service is friendly and efficient. The menu is varied enough to please just about everyone. The view of the creek adds to the experience. Ok, Creekview I've driven by this place time and time again and feel like I missed out I some good food and tasty drinks. Creekview is one of those places that isn't super fancy or modern, but makes you feel like you're going out to eat on your grandma's back patio. It's quaint, homey, and has good service. My husband and I went there to eat with the kiddos for his birthday and overall, had a good experience. The place gets packed and can feel so as there's not a ton of wiggle space between the rooms and tables. Nonetheless, we opened to dine overlooking the creek in the covered sunroom that had a southern vibe to is (might've been the ceiling fans). The food was great. I opted for the crab cakes and was pleasantly surprised as I'm from Baltimore and am stuck up about my crab cakes. My hubby got a soft shell crab sandwich I believe that was also good. Want to know something else that took us to town? The drinks. I truly hope our waitress didn't think I had an alcohol problem as I was trying (and drinking with the utmost enjoyment) an assortment of cocktails that were perfect. I've driven past this place close to ten thousand times in my lifetime living nearby and I finally decided to take the plunge and walk in the door! Creekview is a great little place with eccentric decorations, that Buffalo vibe and a nice menu full of local favorites. I had to start with the French onion crock which was very tasty with a nice broth loads of cheese and a decent amount of bread. It was maybe a tad on the salty side but still good nonetheless. I had the Oliver's burger a nice juicy burger with Bleu cheese, basalmic reduction, and it was very tasty. I chose German potato salad for a side to make the meal complete. On my way in I walked past an extensive menu board of dessert options including a mile high piece of carrot cake. That's ultimately what I decided to go with for dessert and it was very good. In terms of the menu food items were more reasonable priced than I had expected with my burger at 14 and many other sandwiches in the same price range. Their large plates were more in the higher range of 20 and up but it was a lot more food to be fair. The views were great, we sat on their enclosed porch and could see the rushing creek the whole time and it gets lit up at night time too! The enclosed porch area is amazing for summer I bet because all the windows and doors open to let fresh air in. Staff were very friendly and helpful and service was quick and good. We decided that we didn't want anyone to cook so we splurged and got take out for 8 people. Needless to say it was a large order that we spent a decent amount of money on. The food was good, salmon salad, chicken Milanese, fried fish dinner, fish tacos (really good) and some kids chicken fingers. Unfortunately we didn't receive all the items so put a small damper on the meal overall. Also kind of a surprise that for a legit restaurant there take out is a bit lacking, no cutlery, not even a napkin, messy packed boxes. They did take off the money for the order when we called since no one wanted to go back out and get it, and wasn't worth the time. They did apologize.
