Update to my post on 12/20/23 My family started the process…read moreof planning a yr.or so ago. I worked with Kristen each and every step of the way. Kristen had excellent communication skills and made sure I understood everything that would take place upon my family member passing. Kristen always answered all calls and emails promptly. Sad to say my loved one passed this past Sept. I was then assigned to work with Andrew and McKenna(sp). Andrew was AMAZING ! Even during this stressful time he made sure all of my request were completed. He went above and beyond in all aspects of planning the service, and setting up the day of the service. There were several times I would focus on what he was doing and he was meticulous again in paying attention to small details making sure things were perfect ! Andrew truly made this day smooth and let me to truly focus on the moment and nothing else... Everything was as perfect as it could be ! I'm truly happy that when my time comes that my family will be treated with utmost respect and have full confidence that all request will be met without stress beyond the normal, under those circumstances. The difference was night and day. They understood that saying goodbye can't be rushed and gave us all the time we needed with my father. They treated my father--and our family--with the reverence and care we deserved during our most difficult time. It's clear they see their role as serving families, not exploiting them. They made any necessary adjustments of my Mom after she arrived, and they were all so compassionate, caring, respectful and helpful. They were exceptionally helpful with recommendations for a restaurant for our family to go to after the burial. Everything went well and smoothly. I had initially picked a different funeral home because my family had always used them. But, a friend recommended I make a few calls, even though it was 3:00 am when mom passed. During my third and final call, I phoned All-states cremation and talked to the kindest person ever. EVER! She warmed my heart with every word and I knew this was right. The two men who took mom to the funeral home were just so nice. Before they left, one of the men patted me on the back and said, I promise we will take care of your mom. I had tried to stay strong up, but I lost it. I was offered a few different locations, but their Centennial location was closet to me. I was greeted by yet another kind person. How were there so many nice people worked at this company? I know Yelp discourages mentioning names, even when it's positive so, I will keep quiet. The cremation arranger walked me through a process I wasn't sure if I was ready for. She explained things multiple times and must have sensed when I wasn't getting something because she would explain it again. Given my experience with the other funeral home my family usually uses, I was expecting to be sold things I didn't want. Before I walked in I was ready to get angry with anyone who tried to sell me an urn or a viewing, but it never happened. I knew my mom's friends would shame me for not buying a $500 urn, and it was nice that this company didn't push a sale or judge me. I went back on a Tuesday to pick up mom. Once again, they were just so kind! When they gave me mom, this may sound crazy, but I could feel her telling me that she was treated with love from start to finish. I couldn't believe this was all that had to happen. From the time I made that initial call at 3:00 am to picking up my mom's ashes less than a week later, I made zero phone calls to the company in-between. They did everything while I had time to grieve. I walked into this experience wanting cremation, not to be judged or pressured, to be treated with grace, and to pay a fair price. All states does not seem to be the least expensive, but not the most. But, WHY WOULD YOU GO WITH A CREMATION PLACE THAT IS THE LOWEST PRICE????? Don't treat buying cremation like trying to find the best deal on a printer! THIS IS YOUR LOVED ONE! THINK ABOUT IT!!!!! This was the kindest, simplest process I have ever been through. The last time I called a plumber to snake a drain, it was more complicated than this! As the guy who picked up mom said to me, All states will take care of your loved one and I found them to take equally good care of me. Thank you for being there for me. --
