I had a very miserable experience at this joke of a restaurant. They never pick up the phone and when I go in to order I am treated extremely rudely by an employee named Kaylee. The food tastes like wet cardboard and the service made me want to vomit almost as much as the food did. I don't know how the managers train there staff but they must hire an orangutan to do it. Never going again and I would not recommend you try either. I have had pleasant experiences at the other two locations but this one is something else. read more

Creno's pizza is a locally owned and operated pizza store. They use fresh ingredients and delver pizza quickly. Their BLT pizza is an all time favorite of mine and my family's! There is a thin crust, layer of pizza sauce, crumbled bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato with a thin layer of mayo & a soft shell on top. Each layer compliments the next. South Zanesville Crenos is the worst. They quit answering the phone before they close. Any restaurant should continue answering the phone until the employees leave. Prime example we ordered food at 9:20 food never shows up by 10:15 cant call and find out if its even coming. Most likely will never show up they have done to us in the past. Now we need to try and find somewhere else to get an even later dinner. None of us feel like cooking as we all worked long and hard today. Was always a fan of Crenos food at other locations. However the last 3 times I attempted to call the Maysville Ave location, I was put on hold for 5+ minutes. I tried calling back once the call dropped, but was hung up on. Really wanting Crenos for dinner I drove down to order at the window. When I pulled up to the window I noticed what appeared to be steak and sausage (or beef) sitting in containers on the counter behind the window. I know from my food service history (ServSafe Verified), that you cannot store meats at ambient temperature. I stopped ordering and asked the girl at the window if they make food from containers on the counter. She said "we always make food that way". I canceled and drove off. Basically, if you're lucky enough to get a phone call through, you'll end up with some food-born pathogens. Highly recommend staying away. The management must be terrible at this location. read more

Called to place an order with the manager and he put me on hold while I was on hold I started playing with my granddaughter with a toy saying whack a mole he proceeded to get on the line and assume I was talking bad about him he then hangs up on me. I call back and said somehow we got disconnected wasn't mad up until he accused me of saying something bad about him. I was irate when he wasn't listening and saying he was upset with me about me playing with my granddaughter. My order was almost $70 and I loved Creno's until he is gone I am gone. After I called again he puts a 17 year old on the phone and says I can't place an order unless I am calm. I was calm when I was talking to the 17 year old. Pretty sad. Placed an order tonight for a small extra cheese pizza. It came with pepperoni. I am a vegetarian and don't eat pepperoni. As a former waitress I don't like to complain when it comes to food so I tried to pick the pepperoni off of one piece, taking all the cheese off with it. Called to request the pizza I actually ordered and was told because I had "messed" with one piece they wouldn't replace it. Instead of the manager getting on the phone and telling me this himself he talked in the background and forced the girl answering the phone to give me the bad news. I was never a big fan of Creno's before, but we decided to order it again for something different. Now I understand even more why I prefer other places. When called, the woman who answered did not ask for my name or phone number. After ordering, she was supposed to take my credit card number -- and said she could do so -- but immediately hung up on me. Trying to call back, I could not get through to anyone so we weren't even sure our food was going to show up. It got here and almost everything was wrong. The salad contained everything I told them I didn't want. The wings were not boneless, like I ordered, and the breadsticks did not come with cheese, as I had ordered. The breadsticks were also incredibly hard and dry and the garlic sauce that came with them was cold. I would suggest getting your food elsewhere. read more

Couple weeks ago my husband and I ordered pizza and salad. No sausage on the pizza and extra egg, no tomato on the salad. Not a hard order. My husband goes and picks the food up. Gets home and pizza is coated in sausage and the salad had tomato and one egg. You pay extra for the egg or I would have let it go. So he calls down and they apologize and offer to make a new salad just bring the old salad in 5 minutes. He goes back down and sits at the drive thru window awhile. The worker comes up to the window, asks for the salad back and says he will be back with the new salad. Comes back about 1 minute later and hands my husband the bag. He gets home and we figure out they picked the tomato out of the old salad and sloppily tossed half of another egg in the container!! There were still tomato juice and seeds on the lettuce, the 5 croutons they gave us were in the same little pile and the original egg in the same spot! We call back pretty upset at this point. Ask for a refund AFTER the manager called my husband a liar! We were told they do not do refunds only a new salad. So we ask for the owner. He claims to call the owner and tells us that he said no refund. I call back and ask for the owner to call us or I'm calling the BBB. He left the owner a message to call and we have never ever had a return phone call. I have heard many many complaints on Facebook about this owner being rude and calling customers liars. Shame on this man for running this "business" the way he is!!!
