I prefer this location because it is closer but I have been to both. This was the second location that they opened and even offered free items during the first few days. I love this place because either is a little bigger and offers more seating. The place is in a less crowded block. Non of this convenience takes away from the amazing chocolate being served so either place is good to check out.

I feel very mixed. On one half, it was pretty good. On the other half, that Oreo crepe pictured was $14 and was pretty small relative to the box. I'm a bit turned off to the gimmick, but I will say the sweets are at least good. It's just expensive. There is some seating so you can sit and eat your dessert, but it is a small space overall so keep that in mind. No bathrooms!

Loved this place so much! I tried the Fettuccine crepe which comes with ice cream and both chocolate drizzles. It tasted amazing and I absolutely loved the aesthetic. The only bad thing was that there are only about three or four very small tables and no restroom but everything else was great! I would definitely go back for this again!

We stumbled upon this place after lunch when we were looking for a sweet treat. They have some chocolate covered fruits, crepes and waffles. We opted for the waffle with chocolate and fruit. The combination was great, but the waffle was a little stingy and had a lot of holes in it. I also wished they had the option of dark chocolate. Staff were friendly, and I applaud them on keeping the place looking nice and clean.

A trendy, hole-in-the-wall spot for melted chocolate desserts -- we stopped by for a post-dinner sweet treat. We got the Sushi Banana Crepe, which was just a fun way of presenting a banana crepe with melted chocolate. I wish they had dark chocolate options, but otherwise decent and satisfied the craving.

This place is like super cute with such pretty pink decorations and so many backgrounds to take in front. I couldn't decide which ones to take my chocolate dips with. The service was quite quick and prepared each dip with love and care. I ordered the chocolate covered strawberries & waffles. It was so good and not too sweet. It was really nicely decorated with toppings and white chocolate drizzles. I definitely would go again!

It's a decent spot to grab a late night dessert, but it's not anything spectacular. Your mileage may vary if you're more into chocolate covered strawberries than me. Also, the interior felt kind of cheesy and cheap.

what we ordered: Strawberry crepe $13 Mini pancakes $9 . The spot for a sweet little treat! They have pancakes, waffles, fruits on sticks, and more. If you're a chocolate lover like me, this is the spot to satisfy your cravings!

Stopped by yesterday around midnight because we were craving something small and sweet. The mini pancakes hit the spot! It was 4 of us sharing it and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. It's a cute shop, loved the vibes.

Was craving some sweets and dropped in post dinner. The store is quite small - probably fits 6 people max. We ordered a strawberry crepe and it was loaded with strawberries and drowned in chocolate - we opted for a combo of white and milk chocolate. A good experience overall, just a bit pricy.

Came to this cute little place in the village this week and loved the concept. Got there at opening so we watched them turn on the fountains. There are plenty of waffles, fruits and crepes to choose from and white and regular chocolate to drip or drizzle. Everything is made right in front of you and made to order so it's all fresh. We had the waffle with ice cream and strawberries, bananas and pineapple drizzled with chocolate. Definitely stop by here and try it out! Open now with safety measures in place. I was so happy to be invited to try this new location in Manhattan. I love sweets and was looking forward to it. When I arrived I found parking on the street nearby. When I walked in they allowed me to come to the back and video how they make the treats I got the brownie crepe and my friend got the burrito crepe. They way they make everything was very cool. When I dug in it was soooo good. I enjoyed every bit of chocolate and brownie. It was a great experience!

Lady Blue has saved me twice now, when needing to grab dinner before a Broadway show. Yesterday (Sat) we got last minute tickets to an 8pm show and had to quickly find a place for dinner. Many of the spots in the Theater District were already booked from 5:30-7:30. Some were just way overpriced. I had been to Lady Blue before and liked it, and they had 6pm availability. When we arrived, it was lively but not unbearably crowded. The place is small with a few booths, but surprisingly the hostess brought the two of us to a full booth. It felt nice and luxurious! And we did not have to wait or fight for the table at all. Our waitress was very attentive, checking on us multiple times. As others have mentioned, this place is much more than a cocktail bar - they serve a wide variety of American food (flatbreads, burgers/sandwiches, entrees) - however the cocktails are fun and interesting too. My friend got the Magic Mermaid and I got the Chai Fashioned cocktail. Hers was so fun - blue in a fishbowl looking glass with a tail fin sticking out. Mine was a unique take on the typical Old Fashioned filled with spices. Next we got bacon-wrapped dates to start - absolutely delicious. Perfect mix of sweet and savory flavors of bacon, blue cheese, and date. For mains, we both got the Lady B Burger, which was a step up from the regular burger - we were able to order as we liked it (I got the bacon on the side). It also comes with a salad but you can pay extra for fries or tots. I got truffle fries, which hit the spot. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed - the music was kind of a remix of 70s hits and newer stuff. We were able to eat at comfortable pace, pay, and leave with plenty of time before our show. I will definitely be back!

I had their version of the lemon drop as well as another cocktail not on happy hour, one of their many espresso martinis. Both were just "meh" Also had the meatballs (also on happy hour) and while they were tasty, they were cold. Which surprised me because they came in a cast iron skillet. Cute place but I probably won't be back.

Mostly gluten free and healthy portion sizes. - Grilled Chicken Swisswich - was an interesting mix of Bacon jam, gruyère, lettuce, avocado aioli on a toasted ciabatta. Not bad and came with some Herb fries. Service - (4/5) - servers were friendly and fairly attentive. Can get a bit busy and took bit longer than expected to get the order but regular check-ins afterwards. Atmosphere - (4/5) - it's at the bottom of the Edison Hotel so there isn't a dedicated restroom it's by the hotel lobby. Dim and homey feel to the layout and furniture/lighting. They have a partnership with a company that provides singing servers during dinner hour. Keep in mind they add a mandatory 5% fee on your bill for this! I did not experience the singing servers during my patronized visit. Upon entering the Maître d' announced "right now, we're only seating at the bar counter not at tables," so why do I see patrons sitting at booth tables? Oh! It was somewhat busy but not at full capacity for full-on hustle bustle busy. Seating for one, please. "And if I'm flying solo At least I'm flying free" - Elphaba from "Wicked", Broadway musical "Defying Gravity" Friedman's is located adjacent to Hotel Edison and restroom facility is in the hotel's lobby. Access to Hotel Edison's facility is limited as the hotel's staff will stop all who enter as I am not a hotel guest. I believe Friedman's is very overhype, and overrated. My male server/waiter calls all the female patrons "love" which does not bother me and does not irk me at all. But please do not call me "babe", "baby", "mamma" or "mommy" as these are too sexist, outdated and stereotype in some cultures/race directed at women. Friedman's is certainly a modern American luncheonette. No comment for alcohol as I not order any. There are no business cards for keepsake. Pastrami on rye $26.00 Mustard, pickle and vinegar chips The meat heavily embedded with a lot of white fat stretched and stuck together when bitten. The meat tasted very bland lacking flavor. The mustard was mild spicy which gave the meat a zesty kick for aliveness, but minimally applied. The pickle was average. The vinegar chips were very stale and harden. The rye bread was average with caraway seeds which was blah. I am uninterested in caraway seeds. Katz's Delicatessen continues to reign supreme in pastrami on rye as the meat is excessively abundant quantity piled high and very flavorful without the need of mustard or mayo condiment. I prefer this sandwich accompained with fries like Katz's Delicatessen offers. At the bottom of the sales receipt there is a suggested gratuity in intervals of 20%, 22% and 25% where customers do not have to perform math calculation. I was able to obtain my sales receipt as keepsake.
