Honey Crepes has both sweet and savory crepes in a variety of styles. Ordered the Strawberry/Banana/Nutella crepe and the Ham/Cheese Mushroom crepe to go. Olga, the store owner was an absolute delight! She was super attentive, offered menu suggestions and made me the most delicious strawberry, banana and Nutella crepe I've ever eaten. She makes everything fresh and does it with a smile. We inadvertently stopped in right after they closed, but the door was still open. The owner was so kind, she made us our crepes, and set out the table and chairs for us on the sidewalk. The crepes were vegan and delicious. What a wonderful place - I will definitely return. read more

This place is truly & quite literally a hidden gem in Union City!!!! It's in a tiny little plaza all the way downtown UC. It's a really small place (2 tables) but honestly its worth it!!! I saw this place open up across the street from me and knew I had to check it out. The food is amazing, and Olga is the sweetest! I ordered online and popped over to pick it up, and she shared how she'd just recently opened. I got the Tomato Basil Cheese crepe for lunch, and the Dulce de Leche and Banana crepe for dessert. She called me to tell me they were ready and encouraged me to eat while fresh! (I did). The ingredients were clearly fresh and tasted so good! The Dulce de Leche crepe in particular blew me away, and I would recommend anyone get it! 100% going back! read more

$8 Breakfast sandwiches and $5 for a sunken muffin that didn't rise.. prices are more expensive than Hoboken/NYC! Instead I just asked for a croissant and a coffee. Guess she was upset I gasped at the thought of paying $5 for a flat muffin.. she then gave me an attitude and said she doesn't just sell a plain croissant, I HAVE to buy a sandwich. Quite disappointing ordering it from UberEats. I've ordered from various places in NJ (crepe guru, two crepes etc), the food here by far is the most mediocre/overpriced/bland. The portion is basically HALF of what I'd get from similar places around NJ, and the crepes are extremely oily (with very little filling/toppings). The crepe looks like a huge pancake with barely anything in it (yes you're basically eating that flour shell). For comparison, I can only finish 1/2 of what crepe guru offers (also it only costs $12) or a full one from two crepes (which is fair), but I have to eat 2.5 crepes from this place to barely get full.....while this place costs even more than the previous two places. What's the justification for that???? And it doesn't taste good. The taste is very very mediocre and the greasiness from the crepe upsets my stomach too. This is my first and last time to try this place....so disappointing cuz I had high expectations based on the reviews. If you think the crepe here is "good", wait till you try crepes from crepe guru. This one popped up as a hot and new coffee shop. Less than a month old, always looking to try new places in the area. Got to admit that I got busted right away, by taking a photo of the storefront when approaching. The owner? Olga was quite helpful when I mentioned that not one for sweets. She suggested a savory crepe instead. Ended up ordering a Turkey, Swiss Cheese, mushroom crepe with my Large Iced Cold brew. Very filling although the coffee was a little watered down. She mentioned about delivery service that they use. Even gave me a few discount cards for Grubhub & Doordash that I can utilize on my next order. This place is pretty easy to find. Absolutely the best crepes i have never had even beats the ones i had in Paris! The crepes are nice and thin and crunchy and the ingredients she uses are super fresh! A great local business to support and most importantly get crepes. We just moved to the heights and discovering places around. This place is so lovely and delicious! This place is right in my building but I'm normally working such long hours that I don't get to come. Recently I had a day off and came by just as it closed. The owner was so nice she opened back up for me! So glad she did--got to try the turkey-mushroom crepe, mushroom soup, and the strawberry-banana-Nutella crepe. First time ordering from here off of Seamless. Wanted some Nutella crepe! No reviews on seamless and didn't find them on yelp, so I think it's a new company. I took a chance. And I'm happy I did! I ordered a strawberry banana and Nutella crepe ($8), baked apple cinnamon and vanilla ice cream crepe($8.50), and a small cafe mocha coffee ($3.50). Delivery fee is $3.99. I'm just happy they deliver to Hoboken! Delivery was on time and Raul was very nice. Everything was packaged neatly and my order is correct. My favorite of the two was definitely the Nutella crepe. Fresh fruit inside, delicious Nutella, and crepe cooked nicely. Great flavors. The baked apple cinnamon was yummy too. The cinnamon is more of a hint of flavor. I didn't even notice it. Apples cooked like a sauce. Vanilla ice cream melted of course haha but I noticed the specks in the liquid and tasted the vanilla; good quality ice cream. I found one apple seed...but I didn't eat it luckily, it fell out. Not docking any stars for it. If I ate it, I probably wouldn't have noticed anyway. The coffee is okay; tastes watered down for my liking and I didn't taste mocha. Won't be ordering the coffee again. But the crepes are great!! Give them a try! :) read more

So first off, I ordered from this breakfast/coffee shop on DoorDash. I was really excited because there was quite a few good reviews. However, after waiting for an hour and 15 minutes for my DoorDash which could be DoorDash's fault my food finally arrived. When the food finally arrived, the coffee and the apple juice were package with the seal over it so it wouldn't spill, I thought this was smart. And then the two bagels were wrapped in foil to keep warm. But, as I went to go eat my bagel it was super cold and it had no flavor. Also there was a bagel that was supposed to have butter which It did not. They do not give you a option to choose from different type's of bagels, it was only plain bagel which I thought was odd. Then when I went to go drink my coffee this was the worst of the worst. Let me tell you I could've made coffee better at home. This coffee was literally made with water and maybe a pinch of sugar. I asked for almond milk which I paid extra money for and vanilla. I almost spit my coffee out as soon as I drank it. For this being a high-end breakfast/coffee cafe, it was one of the worst I've ever had. Who makes coffee like that. I tried to get a refund from DoorDash but I could get nothing from them. I felt very disappointed especially that this to bagel coffee apple juice meal was really expensive. This place was not worth it. Letting you know steer clear. Unless this was just a bad day, I will not be going back or ordering from them ever again. read more

I love this place I always go in to see them every time I take my dog to the groomer which is next-door the sad thing is of course the length of time between grooming appointments however they deliver and I am and have been in love with their strawberry Nutella banana crepes and they have the best coffee and she knits these beautiful chair covers and potholders her skill is impeccable. read more

This is a great spot to grab a quick and delicious breakfast. I come here almost once a week to grab an egg and cheese bagel. The woman who owns the place is there everyday and is always in good spirits. Lots of great options and especially for it being a small, one woman show. One of my favorite parts of this shop is that their tea menu is all around the shop, right on their walls. So, you walk around the shop, look at the different teas (organized by type, caffinated/non-caffinated), smell them, and read the labels. I had a lot of fun doing this! Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
