5 stars for ambiance and cleanliness. 4 stars for attentive service from owners balanced with a few glitches that are common with any new ish place. 5 stars for chicken bbq banh mi 3-4 for other dishes. It's very southern style Vietnamese (sweet).. great if you prefer that. They didn't have 2 of the pictured dishes- like all small places they try and adjust, it's best to ask. The QR code ordering was easy to use. The owner was also willing to take our order. I'll definitely come again and try more dishes.

Had a small walk to find the restaurant since I was nervous about finding parking but this is located in an apartment building with parking so don't be like me Try the soursop kumquat tea - there's actual bits of soursop and the tea is tart, you can always adjust your sweetness after. It's a major trendy drink right now and not a lot of location have it so its definitely a must try. I also ordered the pork belly noodle salad which was a very large portion. I wanted the beef in bettle leaf wrap noodle salad but it was not available :( The pork belly was a good balance with all the noodle and veggies so it's not a very meal. You get your fish sauce on the side so you can adjust how salty or light the dressing will be. The boss lady was also very sweet. She knows her customers and greeted them with a lot of enthusiasm. Feel like you're apart of the family, make your meal taste better when it's made with care. Would recommend!

T T Deli is inside the Garden Alameda business complex serving up some delicious and fresh Vietnamese food with great service. The vegetarian tofu options are so tasty and I love their Vietnamese iced coffee! The location has awesome covered outdoor seating, in addition to indoor, next to water features that provide a cool breeze in warm weather, it's quiet and peaceful and has pretty greenery. Lots of easy parking, too.

I love this place for their rice plates and vermicelli noodles. The noodles are refreshing and flavorful. really like the lemongrass beef meat option, but the roast pork one is also very good. My favorite thing to get here is the soursop passion fruit drink and sometimes I come here just to get that! It's delicious , best mixture of sour and sweetness but I ask for it a bit more on the sour side. Right now they have festive lunar new year theme. The decorations are always all out for this shop! Last year I stopped by during Halloween and it looked super cool as well!

Ordered the beef lemongrass Banh Mi and it was delicious (tons of flavor and juicy). Staff were welcoming and friendly. Will be back again.

The deli is hidden away next to Bank of America in the spot where Orbitz Coffee used to be. If they're grillin the food outside you know I'm going to go give it a try (see my tag line). TT's is a a Vietnamese cafe that bahn mis, grilled meats, rice and noodle plates. I tried the grilled pork ribs and the grilled pork chop. You can look at the meat and see that it's marinated and the sauce is cooked on. That was a good first sign for me. The sauce is slightly sweet and was delicious. It came with rice, vegetables and a sweet sauce. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. They have coffee too. Very friendly service. They have a few tables inside and a couple outside. I believe she said they're actual opening is on Feb 10th and they'll be doing buy two get one free that week.

Banh mi menu. Number 2 and 4 are my favorite so far.
Tram L.

I saw their ad on FB about the promotion buy 2 get 1 free, so I decided to give it a try. 10 minutes drive from SJ downtown despite the 5pm traffic, which is not bad. The store is kinda hidden in the same business center where Bank of America is located. If you cannot find them just give them a call and the owner will come out to get you in. I was excited to see their Grilled Pork banh mi as I've never seen any other banh mi place offer this same kind. Their grilled pork is not the same like other famous banh mi places, it's the special kind that you can only find in Sai Gon, those vendors that push their cart around the alley, and always park in front of schools in the afternoon. The only thing that is missing from this place is the signature sauce for their grilled pork banh mi. I so miss the saucy grilled pork banh mi that I used to have in Sai Gon when I was a kid. Service was good, the owner was super friendly and proud of her business. I got two of their grilled pork banh mi and get one shredded chicken banh mi for free. $10 for a banh mi (excluded discount) is pretty pricey, but you get a 6 inch long banh mi loaded with tons of meat and vegetables inside. The grilled pork banh mi is the best in town by far, but it could get much better if it comes with some signature sauces. Their shredded chicken banh mi is also much better than the common grilled chicken banh mi that you can get from other banh mi places. It was about 15 minutes wait. So I'd recommend you call in to order ahead. Overall, I would give them 4.5/5, and I'm sure they have potential to grow higher.

Loved it here! Super cute place and the food was amazing. Our server was really kind and attentive

Thai tea HUGE! And you can adjust sweetness

I have never had a bad experience at TT Deli. The owner is so nice and ensures that the food is fresh and meats are grilled daily by the cook. I usually get the banh mí, which is their sandwiches. I have tried to switch the type of meat but I can't. I get roast pork, #1. They have rice and vermicelli noodle dishes too. Vegetarian options for rice, noodles, and sandwiches. My office is close by so this is my go-to spot. The location is in the office complex so you will have to park in the parking lot and walk towards the offices to get it. Oh! And there are Thai teas, matcha drinks too!

I ordered Doordash pick up because I was ordered on a Thursday for lunch and didn't know what the line would look like. So I walked right in and gave my name and was handed my bag-o-goodies. They have shelves of dry goods to purchase. Refrigerated items to purchase. Their deli counter is towards the back and wraps around the front. I ordered: 1. 2 meatballs: hearty and delicious. 2. Beef raviolis: small but packed with meat and in their meat sauce. Flavorfull! 3. Arancini: I've never tried one. It's a rice ball filled with veggies, cheese and ground meat. Then rolled in breadcrumbs and deep fried. Then served with their sauce. Holy Moly!!! Why have I never had this heavenly piece of Italy?!?!?! Seasoned well and fried well. It's a meal in it of itself! 4. Garlic bread: hot, buttery, garlicky toasted goodness! The only thing I finished was the arancini. Next visit, I'll try a dessert! When it was my turn, I asked what the most popular sandwich was. "The Chris Combo". So, I ordered the Chris Combo on Dutch Crunch bread. I think it cost me $15.26. My hubby and I shared the sandwich at home. It looked good. It tasted good. However, the meat to bread ratio was off. We each felt that we had an inch of bread left from our halves with no meat filling. Perhaps we should've opened our halves and spread the meat around to cover all corners of the bread. Regardless, the sandwich was tasty. Will I return? You bet!

Then I realized the video was highlighting the best food spots in San Jose! I live in West SJ and it's a 20 minute drive to Antipasto, but I didn't mind, I had to find out for myself. I hurried up and went there immediately, only to realize they were closed on Mondays. My mistake, I actually went online to check their schedule, and got into the menu a bit too passionately, that I forgot to actually check their hours. So I went back on Wednesday, and decided to double check that they were actually open this time. Upon walking in, I was a little intimidated to be honest. Everybody looked like a regular, while I walked around like a headless chicken trying to figure out which side of the store to go to. Nick noticed that, and went out of his way from behind the counter to guide me and my wife. He let us know where to go for sandwiches, the butcher, raviolis, etc... Me and my wife got the lasagna dinner with 2 meatballs, and TBC beef ravioli W/ salads. It was love at first bite. This place was better than all the Italian places in San Jose, without a doubt. Yes, I'm talking to you Original Joes and Maggiannos. All throughout our meal, we noticed people chatting with Nick and the rest of the staff as if they were family. Who knows they might be! Nick continued to include us by talking to us and making us feel welcomed. We are fans for life! Great food, great service, what else can you ask for? I just can't believe I never knew about this place after living in San Jose for 30 years.

However, when I got home I immediately noticed the color and thought they had mistakenly used roast beef. I looked at some of the other reviews and their doordash image and I'm confused on what I got. The pastrami was missing the distinct reddish-pink color from brining and black bark from smoking, I'm not sure how it was prepped in-house but it tasted like roast beef. This spot is located in Strawberry Park in Saratoga and is right next to Clover Bakery. While Clover Bakery tends to have longer lines, I personally have never run into a scenario where Fugetsu is packed. There is no seating, by the way, and parking can get a little hectic because of the nature of this plaza. I will say that over the years, Fugetsu has really stocked up on its selection and range of food. When you first enter, they have their stock of okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and generous bentos. As you turn the corner, they have sashimi, onigiri, dons, and more. Sometimes I get decision paralysis, but in a good way. I want to note that while I have never been disappointed by the food I get here, there isn't anything that has blown me away either. That being said, whenever I am having a picnic, this is the first spot I think of when I want to stock up for my friends and me. What is cool about this place, too, is that half of the store is dedicated to food, while the second half has merch, trinkets, and dinnerware. They carry Sonny Angels, Smiskis, loads of Miffy items, some Sanrio, and if you're a Sylvanian Families collector like me, you'll really enjoy it here. That said, they do upcharge quite a bit on some items. For example, a Sonny Angel at Mitsuwa (in the same plaza) can be around $16 (which is still expensive), while here it's closer to $21.
