It works well, a subtle curry flavor, generous chunks of chicken, and cheesy goodness throughout balanced with tomatoes and bell peppers. I liked the salad, not flooded with dressing but just very moderate vinegar and olive oil taste, and the rosemary potatoes were as good as you'd expect. It did take a bit long for the food to arrive, but I didn't need to wait for a table. The restaurant is cozy and lively on a Saturday morning, with a fireplace playing in a screen. Found this place while walking through cole valley and decided to stop in for brunch! We got the cole valley savory crepe and added sausage, which was pretty good though perhaps a bit too cheesy for my taste. The crepe was cooked nicely and served with potatoes and greens, both dressed well! We also got a buttermilk pancake, kinda heavy on the butter flavoring (even after scraping the dollop off the top). I really enjoyed the chewiness of the pancake and it didn't even need syrup! This place has a good amount of indoor seating as well as some outdoor tables which was great in the lovely weather. You order at the counter and get waters/seasonings yourself, and all the staff were very kind! Cozy neighborhood all-in-one spot! Each time I visit, I appreciate Crepes on Cole even more. Staff is pretty friendly, and you have a variety of people coming in, truly a third space in Cole Valley. Under the impression that this place is whatever you want to make of it. There are people here treating it like a cafe, bringing laptops and doing work over coffee and tea. It can be a diner where you eat a hefty portion of burgers and sweet potato fries. Or a brunch place to enjoy sweet and savory crepes. This is a local spot for me. I find the more I come here the more I appreciate it. It's very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. It is well maintained and clean. The service too is fast and friendly. They offer a VERY large and varied menu. Not just Crepes. Tasty burgers and appetizers too. The turkey burger on a wheat bun is always a go to for me. They have a pretty large menu including vegan items, but I got the Bonjour Crepe (goat cheese, onion, egg, mushroom, chicken-apple sausage, and bell pepper) which comes with house potatoes and salad greens. So disappointed. I ordered a banana nutella crepe with whipped cream. $18 + tax + tip = $22 and I had to stand in line to order. The crepe was thick, soggy, and tasteless. There was maybe a tablespoon of Nutella on it, plus a half banana, and then what looked like the kind of whipped cream that comes out of an aerosol can - very WHITE. Not like whipped CREAM. The profit margin must be insane to charge that much for $1.50 of ingredients. The location is nice, service was good, the staff is very friendly. Came to Crepes on Cole with a party of 4 around 11am on a Thursday, and there was no wait. You order at the front and seat yourself. It's very spacious inside, with a nice homey feel. The menu has an extensive list of omeletes, crepes both savory and sweet and more. We figured since crepe is the name we'd stick with crepes. -Cole Valley: full of cheesy, mushroomy, spinachy goodness. The crepe itself isn't a crispy crepe, but a more thin pancake with some substance. The side salad was refeshing, though I do wish the potatoes had a little more crisp to them. As they were the potatoes were just barely cooked through and felt more boiled and lightly coated in oil than anything else. -Strawberry and chocolate: a nice dessert crepe with a generous amount of whipped cream on the side, a reasonable amount of strawberry, and an abundance of chocolatey/nutella filling. Super rich yet not excessively sweet, this was a good dessert. -New Orleans: this was a friends, but i took a quick taste of the sauce on top; super creamy, rich and umami from what I believe was sundried tomatoes. This looked really good with plenty of shrimp inside and I'd consider getting it next time. The portions are pretty sizable here, and if you want both a sweet and savory crepe, I highly recommend sharing as we did. Adored Grandson and his Lovely GF invited us to brunch with them at this crepe spot that they discovered in The Haight. Meanwhile, our wonderful Sister-in-Law happened to be in town the same day and was able to meet us, along with her little dog. The five-plus-one of us sat outside on the sidewalk at a rickety table, but other than that minor flaw, we had a good meal and a good time visiting together. I didn't get to see much of the cute interior, as I took turns holding the dog's leash while SIL went inside to check out the menu and order. This is handled as a fast casual restaurant - you go inside to order and pay, then collect a number to display on the table of your choosing. They do have many tables inside, and fewer outside - in deference to space available, and the many cool days in S.F. We were lucky to catch a sunny afternoon without any wind. Woohoo! That's saying something in August. AG went straight for a sweet crepe - that's his preference here. LGF had something sweet and breakfast-y. I decided to go the sweet route, too. Unfortunately, I had to ask them to leave off the whipped cream. My crepe was yummy, but would have been better with that for forbidden topping. All the dishes that made their way to our table looking beautifully yummy, and I don't recall any leftovers. Everyone just dug in and went for it. Parking is a major challenge, so AG recommended parking at the Kezar Stadium public lot. It's several blocks away, will some uphill walking involved. Good for the step count on the fitness tracker! SIL snagged a rockstar spot right by the door, which was extremely fortunate since she's recovering from knee surgery. I would definitely plan to return on future Bay Area visits. Place was pretty busy for lunch service but food came out fast. Workers were generally unfriendly and unwelcoming. Never seemed like they appreciated my business or said thank you once. I've been seeing this place along the bus route to work. I had some extra time this morning, so I decided to stop in. You place your order at the counter, where you're given a number. Then you sit and wait. I decided to sit outside and enjoy a lovely San Francisco morning. Both inside and outside seating are comfortable, and there's lots of seating available. I got a cappuccino and a banana chocolate crepe, which also had walnuts and whipped cream. Both were delicious. I'd like to try one of their savory crepes next time. They had some really interesting options that looked different from standard savory crepe offerings. There was one person behind the counter taking orders and serving food. I had seen this cute restaurant every visit and was excited my sister in law wanted to go for brunch one weekend. My nephew was very squirrel-y and we were sitting on the small patio. It was nice to be outside but also quite cold! Note there are not heaters outside. My SIL went inside to order and the food took a while to be brought out. I ordered a veggie scramble and was a little disappointed in how small the portion of eggs was. My nephew tore through his pancake (mostly through the syrup he managed to throw on before the adults noticed!) The greens were super fresh and all the dishes were tasty, though, the chicken curry crepe could probably have had a bit more curry flavor in it. I've seen this place a million times since I've taken the N train with some frequency. OK, a "million" might be a slight exaggeration, but it feels that way. And I swear it's the same people who sit at the sidewalk tables. It's kinda like a low-budget indie film where the producers couldn't afford to hire different extras. OK, I may be exaggerating about that, too, but what the hell. For once, I decided to get off the N at Cole and give it a try while it was on the empty side. It looked like a Crepevine inside only without the colored chalkboard menu and immaculate calligraphy. Naturally they serve crepes, but they have an egg selection just as extensive as well as the salads, sandwiches, and burgers you'd expect from a cafe that gives crepes too billing. Of course I ordered a crepe, the $16.50 Mediterranean with cheddar, eggplant, onion, pesto, tomato, and roasted red pepper. Burnt potatoes can destroy a plate like this, and fortunately they grill them right here. I guess I should get off the N more often. I came here on a Sunday morning around 10/11am. And I ordered the strawberry crepe that came with brown sugar and whipped cream. The crepe itself was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. It was a bit small for how pricey it was. The reason why I took out a few stars is that we waited for over 20 minutes to get one plate of order. I visited this café for the first time today, and unfortunately the service left a poor impression -- despite the food being quite good. When I walked in, the woman working behind the counter was sitting at one of the guest tables, eating. It felt like I was interrupting her break, even though the café was open. She looked visibly annoyed to see me, and when she brought out my order, she shoved the plate toward me and dropped the utensils without a word. When I said "thank you," she just responded with a flat "mm-hmm." She was also wearing long, loose hair -- not tied back -- which isn't appropriate for someone handling food in a professional setting. As someone who works in hospitality myself, I know people can have off days -- but guests should never feel like they're intruding. Basic courtesy goes a long way, especially for first-time visitors. Enjoyed sitting outside to wait. Trying to eat healthier so ordered the Bleu Salad, which is kind of funny as there wasn't any Bleu Cheese but Gorgonzola, not complaining, either is fine. It originally came w/mixed greens (not my fave) so requested Romaine and they kindly obliged w/dressing on the side. Nice presentation, huge, fresh and crisp romaine, bountiful portions of thinly sliced apple (10 slices), lots of Gorgonzola chunks and crumbles, plenty of sugared pecans chopped in small pieces and quite yummy vinigerette dressing on the side. Plus it came w/a baguette or bagel. I chose a bagel, which was perfectly toasted, hot and plenty of butter on the side. All this for $16.25 + tax = $17.65 Could have added protein, $2.25 good price Seeking a reasonably priced salad (which was enough for 2 to share), I say check it out. I would not recommend this place if you are on a gluten free diet. Even though we asked numerous times, it does not seem like the restaurant was careful with a dietary restriction. We went here on a Sunday and one person in our friend group with celiac disease was likely served gluten. We told the counter when ordering and asked the waitress when the food arrived. However, we were skeptical since the gluten free crepe looked and tasted the same as the regular crepe. We went to confirm with the chef and he quickly confirmed it was gluten free. After the meal, our friend felt ill similar to when eating gluten. Otherwise, experience wise, you order at the counter and seat yourself. Wasn't too busy at 12pm on a Sunday. The regular french toast I ordered was fairly good - soft and a good amount of sauce, fruit and butter. read more

If you want a good dining experience there are other restaurants on the same block that will give you a much better time. Zazies, for instance.
