It was quite an experience on my first visit here- I came on a cool, cloudy day at the cusp of autumn. I was the first ànd quickly grab the table right next to the open bay window. This corner location is unique in that you have the park, huge trees, ànd Muni surrounding this quaint and spacious cafe. I ordered a simple Everything bagel with cream cheese and the drip coffee. Perhaps it was the location ànd where I sat that made my toasted Everything bagel with cream cheese more deliciously toasted with the creaminess of the cream cheese. Ànd the simple drip coffee was also quite nutty ànd full-bodied. The Bay window felt like I was watching a film with Muni smoothly moving through the street, runners with their various running style quickly (or slowly) intentionally moving along the sidewalks, ànd people simply ambulating to their destination. Went here this morning after a trip to Lab and fasting for the test. I needed my coffee and solid food. Been coming here for years and usually enjoy my meal(s). Service is always good and quite efficient. Thankfully they listened when I ordered my "Americano" w/less water. It was perfect. Stepped away from my normal order and had the Breakfast Burrito. Sadly they no longer have "tater tots", but it's still on all the menus. So settled for the only option "fresh fruit", which was fresh and sweetly ripe. Just not enough, about a 1/2 C. of huge chunks of fruit which didn't even reach the top of the cup it came in. I asked for "No Salsa" on my burrito and guess what, it was drenched in it and the sour cream that was supposed to be on it, was non existent. I did my best to scrape off the salsa, what a mess. So I asked for a separate container of it. I'm getting so tired of kitchen staff not "reading the order" and not providing what was listed as an ingredient. I just won't order this again and stick w/my usual favorite Turkey sandwich. All this for $21, so decently priced. read more

I have rarely been told "no" when asking the staff to charge my phone while working. This was the case both in San Francisco and while traveling internationally. Phone batteries die while chargers get forgotten at home during busy work days. When I asked here I was told no, followed with a very dismissive "please move out of the way so I can serve the next customer". I was going to order a smoothie after asking about a charger. The issue wasn't the lack of a charger itself - it was a very dismissive interaction. read more

Came here for a breakfast burrito, which included a side of either fruit or tater tots. Was a little bit of a wait but the location is great for dog-watching and has lots of outdoor seating. Located right next to Duboce Park, this is a great place to spend the morning dog-watching. On this morning, we ordered: + House Special Salad [6/5] (would recommend) + Green Machine [5/5] + Mighty Cleanse [4/5] The House Special Salad was so delicious! It comes with just a perfect amount of seasoning and feels so healthy with the assortment of nuts, fruits, and greens. I would definitely order this again. :) The Green Machine was sweet with a strong taste of apple. It felt healthy and I would definitely order this one again. Hey munchkins! Hope all is well in the empire. The weather is quite nice. The sun is out and the relaxed Sunday spirit is in the air. I enjoyed a lovely meal at Duboce Park cafe. It was really nice eating outside looking at people playing in the park. I got the tuna melt and I liked it. The cheese and tuna went really well together and it was very filling. When I ate it I felt like it was Batman and I was Robin because it slapped. The waiters were quite attentive. The food came out very quickly. We were at Duboce Park with our dog and as we were leaving saw Duboce Park Cafe and decided to stop in for a quick bite. They do have a sign on the door that they don't allow dogs inside, but there is plenty of seating outside the cafe and many people were dining with their dogs. Luckily I could grab a seat while my husband went in to order. Once he did, they gave him a number and they brought our food and drinks out to our table. We ordered a cream cheese bagel, a lox everything bagel, an apple cider and a macchiato. The bagels came as a build your own experience, it's not something I've experiences often when ordering bagels but it allowed me to control how much of each topping to put on and if I wanted to eat it open faced or as a sandwich. I opted for two separate open faced pieces, and I felt like the amount of toppings was perfect and that everything was high quality. My macchiato was a little bitter for my taste, but a welcome bit of caffeine since I hadn't had any yet. My husband enjoyed his cider and especially that it had a cinnamon stick in it. Definitely a cute and well placed spot for a bite after walking around the neighborhood or playing at the park. read more

Stopped by this cute cafe on a lunch break :) I ordered the Turkey, Avocado, Bacon and Swiss sandwich on a baguette - this order included kettle chips! The sandwich wasn't anything out of the ordinary and is a safe and solid choice. There was mustard and mayo as well. I think pickles would also add a good flavor to the order! The portion size was also decent. The cafe was v cute with both indoors and outdoor seating and across from Duboce Park so it's perfect if you want to pick up something for a picnic. There were also a number of people working on their laptops. There were also a variety of pastries which were gluten free as well as fresh fruit smoothies. if that's something you look for. Nice corner store location.  Available outdoor sitting as well as indoor. Order and pay first, then hope to find seats, which we scored. Cubano Latte was a smooth drink, very enjoyable. Curried Chicken Sandwich was really good.  It had bacon in there to give it a smokey salty crisp, also the chopped apples had the fresh sweet crunch.  Chicken chunks in curry sauce was somewhat messy to eat cuz it would oozed out of the bread but the taste and texture was worth it. Beautiful cafe right on the corner across from Duboce Park. It has a sunny outdoor seating area as well as a cozy, well-lit indoor area. The coffee, smoothies, and pastries were great. All the croissants were the largest we'd ever seen. That being said, pastry options were fairly limited (but they do have vegan options). Will definitely visit again! read more

5 star location, ambience, breakfast stop. Right across the street from Duboce Park, on a wide corner, enough room for 6 cafe tables, shaded by 3 large trees. Dolores Park Café, Duboce Park Café, Precita Park Café, and Paradise Park Café have the same owner, so I was expecting the same menu of the same quality. Not so much. Couple days ago I had avocado toast at Dolores Park Cafe. Delicious. Today, 10a on a Tuesday, I'm looking at a 2 star avocado toast, if that. The toast wasn't toasted, so had to use knife & fork. Minus 1 point. Poached eggs undercooked. Minus 1 point. Bacon undercooked one side, seriously burnt on the other. Minus another point. I've been here before & enjoy many of their egg dishes, hence the 4 stars. Most of the annoying laptop village is indoors milking their latte all morning. Lively music overhead. In summery, I can recommend this cafe for a leisurely breakfast or lunch. read more

I signed up for yelp just to serve as a fair warning to those looking for an actually decent cafe here in SF. This is not the place. Beyond the fact that my breakfast burrito was poorly wrapped and tasteless, upon using the bathroom I was rushed TWICE by the staff and was told to hurry up and that others had to use the restroom. Upon exit I was surprised to not see a line at the door for anyone and noticed that nobody else had their timed monitored or rudely interrupted when they used the bathroom, so why was I singled out? Id hate to insinuate that it was because I am POC when most the staff is as well, or was it because I was presumed homeless for wearing a tie dye shirt and a backpack. Either way my visit became unacceptable and uncomfortable so I left and will never come back, nor recommend anyone to visit. read more

Fantastic place for coffee and food!! The entire staff is usually friendly, the food that I've tried has been wonderful (curry chicken sandwich, lox scramble (eggs were cooked EXACTLY as I ordered), BLT (if they used a truffle mayo it would be PERFECT ;), and avocado toast). Their coffee (decaf, because I can't drink regular) is GREAT!! I now buy their beans (they will grind them for you). The place is inviting and you can sit and work on your computer or just relax and look out at the park. I am a forever customer. read more

This place is a pretty decent and casual neighborhood cafe with plenty of dog friendly outdoor seating. However, I do not recommend coming here if you weren't already in the neighborhood. I got the Buddha Bowl, which was overall pretty good. I enjoyed the texture of the bowl, but I wish it was just a bit more flavorful. My cappuccino was just average. My friend's egg sandwich looked really good though, so I might give that a try next time. read more

The Deboce Breakfast Sandwich was very tasty! I think the English muffin was a bit greasy, but it seems like they're homemade or something, so I can't complain too much. I really enjoyed everything we had from this cafe. It was a first visit and definitely will not be our last. My fiancé has recently been limited to vegan food so we were happy to find a lot of different locations in the city. They are located right across the street from a park with lots of street parking surrounding the cafe. Perfect spot if you walking by. There are some tables outside if you prefer the fresh air or the inside has ample amount of table to enjoy your food indoors. The donuts were amazingly good. Hard to believe they are vegan. So much flavor in such a small bite. Definitely recommend! I had a hot chipotle chicken sandwich that was baked perfectly. The bread had a nice crunch but not to crunchy that it was still soft to bite into. They were helpful and patient with us while we decided on what to order. Super friendly. The scramble was perfectly cooked, the avocado was fresh and creamy, and the fruit was ripe and flavorful. The addition of feta cheese added a delightful tanginess that complemented the other ingredients beautifully.
