Café fare is always tasty and the presentation is elevated (fancy) The owners/workers, always friendly. Love stopping in here, great inexpensive neighborhood place!

The food was goood, but the drinks were terrible. I ordered a matcha and added white mocha flavoring which is just a syrup that is added to coffee. I got straight milk no matcha barely any white mocha flavoring. Matcha is supposed to be green this was just milk. I asked to exchange for another drink, which wasn't an option so i asked to get the drinks off because i didn't even drinks it, but the manager was being so rude and said no if i don't pay he's calling the cops. So disappointed and it costs like 7 dollars for the drink alone. i could have easily went to starbucks.!!!

Food was great. My friend and I got sandwiches after a run through Golden Gate Park. The French baguettes are purchased from Boudin and they are so crispy and light. All wraps and sandwiches come with a side so they're filling. I opted for the chicken tortilla soup while my friend got the Caesar salad. Both were tasty and just the right amount for a side! We both only finished half our sandwiches, but they made the perfect leftover for a light lunch later. Our server was thoughtful and friendly! She had a kind smile and answered questions we had about menu recommendations. The outdoor seating in the sunshine was amazing. So grateful they were open on a Sunday! FYI street parking only, and there is a single bathroom inside past the service counter. There must not be air conditioning because it was hot indoors, but the weather was perfect outside.

The people that work here are great. There's lovely seating outside, which is perfect for a nice day. Inside is nice too. The food on my two visits were disappointing. I got the breakfast sandwich and couldn't eat it. The bread was dry and the cheese seemed plasticky. The muffins look like CostCo muffins, but without the Costco price. I'm a coffee snob, so I'm not dinging points for the bitter drip coffee. I wish this place was more like The Art Bistro.

1st time here about 11:00 on a Sat. Gentleman behind the counter was really nice. They take your order from the table, kinda sweet. Place is very clean and all the tables were set with silverware. Menu on the wall was massive, so much so, what I was looking for was on a sheet @ the register, not on the menu. I ordered an Americano, light on the water - $4.00 (did not care for the brand of coffee they use, a tad bitter). Everything bagel , toasted w/butter, egg, ham & Swiss cheese $10 I did ask if it was toasted with butter - yes, yes. Well it came out only 1 side toasted and this was where the egg, 1 slice of lunchmeat ham and 1 slice of cheese melted over the top was. I asked for a wee bit of mayo, that was missed and bread was barely toasted w/o butter. Other 1/2 of bagel was face up, not toasted and again no butter. Not very appetizing presented this way, as if I was to "build my own" breakfast sandwich". I always ask for my bagels to be toasted w/butter. It was served on a HUGE dinner plate w/dots of hot sauce all round and some kind of green sauce (guess that was a garnish, odd). The whole thing was so flavorless, I had to ask for butter & mayo on the side. I kept adding salt and pepper myself and again, it was so boring and so tasteless, not worth the price. The dots of sauce didn't add one thing to this breakfast sandwich. May you have better luck w/your food. read more

Stopped in for lunch on the way to GGP. Glad I did. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Happy to accommodate changes. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich, but grilled instead of fried. With a Caesar salad. Got a blue moon beer to in a chilled glass. Overall this was a good small local owned and operated cafe. Don't look for fancy. But they deliver a good meal at a good price. They were perfect for my needs today. If you're around check it out. They offer outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating area has sun and some shade space too. The indoor has cute photos on the wall and yacht rock acoustic music as background. Which I found relaxing. :) read more

Five stars for nutritious, delicious food at a price that is great these days! I had a tasty fritatta with sausage, peppers, fresh avo and soft and crunchy bread. The service was timely. Rude and unaccommadating barista. 52 degrees outside and windows and door wide open. Asked to close door and he said no because the kitchen is hot. Music was blaring where you couldn't even hear the conversation from across the table. Coffee is average and not worth the stop. read more

Ordered 2 smoothies from their website, which redirected us to Menustar. We ordered and paid, and got a e-receipt. When we went to pick up, cafe said they didn't get the order so we had to go to our appt without smoothies. When we went back 1hr later and showed them the receipt (from Menustar), they stated that since they didn't get paid from Menustar, it was our problem and told us to call Menustar. When we said that we ordered from your website, and since your website redirected us to Menustar, you need to take responsibility, he kept repeating that he didn't get paid, so he was not obligated to pay us back. After several minutes we gave up and went home and called Menustar, and surprise, surprise, no one answered. We had to call our CC company to get the charges reversed. Obviously, a bad experience, so will not be going back. read more

Food was DELICIOUS but service was extremely slow. Took my husband and I a while to get our complete orders (by the time they corrected his, I finished mine) but if you are not in a rush and are looking for a chill place go have a delicious breakfast burrito, this is the spot. The roasted beef sandwich is also a 10/10. Will be coming back, but not inviting friends who complain to service workers. read more

I got the healthy eater sandwich which has turkey breast and veggies with pesto- I got mine without cheese, and it comes with a side salad(greens or Caesar) or you can get a bag of chips instead. It was really yummy and satisfying, and the staff were friendly. Their tuna salad sandwich is also really good, and it comes with a side of salad or chips as well. I was surprised by their coffee with almond milk, pretty good coffee! Great menu. Superb service. Delicious food. Came here for breakfast based on the menu (I'm vegan, my friend is a meat eater). Had the vegan breakfast burrito - first of all, can I say how wonderful it is to have a breakfast burrito option!! Second, it was perfectly nourishing and tasty (with hot sauce of course). A very solid breakfast burrito. The various ingredients were cooked well so that their various textures still came through and didn't just sort of muddy together, which happens sometimes with these things. I had my dog with me and they made it easy for me to get the order to go by bringing it out, which I really appreciated. read more

Ordered pickup from DoorDash for this place. I got the huevos ranchero with the sautéed squash and I added mozzarella. Fantastic place inside, the vibes were great. The man working was the sweetest. Wish I had time to eat inside. The food is so good. Best huevos ranchero I've ever had. I was skeptical of the squash but everything complimented each other perfectly. read more

This is just the rating for my overall experience. I'm not sure why this places gets so many good reviews. I went in during my lunch break thinking that I could get something quick to-go, ordered a cobb salad and an iced vanilla latte. The food and coffee is fairly decent but I still have complaints for both of the things I ordered. How long does it take to make a salad? shouldn't take that long. I'm pretty sure I waited for about 20 minutes. I can cook my own lunch with that time. They guy that got in the cafe 10 mins after me even got his sandwich along with one other. I had to ask where my order was and turns out that they mixed up the number order and completely forgot. Coffee: taste- 4 stars but there were coffee grounds in the bottom of my drink, not just a few specks but a lot! so that reduced the rating of their coffee to 3 starts. Cobb Salad: the salad was just average but the most important thing is that they left out the EGG. It specifically noted eggs on the menu, but when I got back to work and opened the box, my salad was lacking it. Aside from that, the salad was NOT mixed at all besides the dressing.
