All day food with a pretty extensive menu. I've brought a lot of family here when they visit since it offers a little bit of everything for everyone. Not to mention, their portions are pretty big so definitely come with an appetite! Most recently I ordered the Philly crepe sharing half of it with my sister who ordered the blackened chicken sandwich. Both items were good, my preference was their fries as opposed to their country potatoes (which were good too). I love that they offer a side salad as well. Pretty quick service, servers are nice and there's ample space (indoor and outdoor seating offered). Definitely a good place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. I'm a frequent visitor here to meet friends for coffee. I will say the place is clean and service is really fast. And they have GREAT coffee and usually pretty good food. I frequently get one of their salads as they are fresh and plentiful. However, recently I got the Cancun as I Love all the ingredients ~ Romaine lettuce, Black beans, corn, red onions, Avocado Ranch dressing (served over a flour tortilla which is new to me) topped w/Charbroiled Chicken = $18.50 What a huge disappointment. Half of this salad was just Romaine lettuce, no corn, 1T of black beans, no red onion and red peppers instead. I had to "hunt for the ingredients". I asked for another bowl just for the lettuce alone and it filled up another bowl. Which left me w/the skimpiest of ingredients I have ever seen. Plus the romaine lettuce was in huge chunks incuding the core of the lettuce. There was a tiny side of tortilla strips and I asked for the tortilla on the side, glad I did. The chicken was at least decent and plentiful. For the price it was a total waste of money. Wish I'd taken a picture. And the cashier is really rude. read more

Crepevine really hit the spot for a warm dessert that's open a little later for San Francisco standards. The space is relatively empty on a Wednesday night. We ordered the s'mores crêpe which came with ice cream and we were so stoked. I will say it took quite a long time for the crepe to come out, but wow it was huge and so sweet. It was nice and warm. The marshmallow chocolate was great and the side of ice cream and whipped cream were incredibly good. We were really happy with the amount of food! The space was relatively clean. I'm not gonna lie the bathroom smelled kind of weird. I would definitely come back for a late night dessert if I'm craving something sweet. read more

Upon entering, we were greeted and immediately oriented. The lovely greeter asked if we had dined with them before. When I said no, she immediately explained the process and brought us menus. We sat down looked over the extensive menu, and then I went up to the counter to place our order. Our food was brought to our table and our water glasses were refilled during our stay. A prime location so close to Golden Gate Park region, Crepevine is a great place to eat dinner followed by a nice walk through the accompanying stores or among the park's botanical gardens. We stopped by for dinner on a weekend evening and it wasn't too busy, there was a good amount of inside seating and heaters outside for outdoor seating. After looking over the menu, customers go to the front to order their food, delivered to your table once it's ready. Service was super easy and efficient, all of the staff we extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered for the table to share the Granada (a salad with candied walnuts, pear, and onions on a bed of mixed greens and arugula. The vinaigrette was fruity but tangy and tasted great with the cheese, pear, and walnuts. We also ordered the lasagna, which came with garlic bread and a side Caesar salad. The lasagna was full of flavor, and lots of veggies. It was a delicious meal and perfect for a cold evening! I look forward to trying a savory crepe next time. read more

I love crepes so I wanted to try this place on our visit to San Francisco. They have a very good selection of food on their menu. We got the California crepe and the San Francisco crepe. Both were good. With the San Francisco crepe, I got the fresh salmon which was cooked well. Good portion size served with a small salad and a choice of potatoes or fries. We got the potatoes which were a bit on the bland side but we did enjoy the crepes. Service was fast. But we got there around 10am on a Saturday morning right before the crowds. A lot of people started coming about 15 minutes after we got there and a line started forming out the door by 11. They do have a good amount of seats. A group of thirteen women walked to the Crepevine after seeing the Monet in Venice exhibit at the DeYoung. It was a lovely walk and when we got to the restaurant, the staff were waiting for us and welcoming us. They had our table set up for all thirteen of us. It was great that we were able to place our orders and pay individually. The menu has a lot of options-our group ordered pasta, sandwiches, salads, eggs Benedict, crepes, omelette and pancakes with fresh blueberries on top. They gave both indoor and outdoor seating, it is a fairly large restaurant. The servers were all kind and helped us with our orders before seating. I got the San Francisco crepe. It was overall good, but the dish overall was so oily. I would have enjoyed the flavor of everything more if I was not overwhelmed with grease. We came by a few months ago and sat outside with our pup in their outdoor parklet. Dog-friendly restaurants are such gems. We also love their autumn decorations at the time of our last visit. This is the type of restaurant you order, paid first and then they bring out the food to you. Casual & friendly vibes. We got the buttermilk pancakes; the Americano Scramble with an added side of bacon; Chili bowl; Santorini Crepe; and earl grey tea. Originally I wanted to try their clam chowder because I heard it was good, but they don't make that everyday and on the day we visited, they offered chili instead, so got that. For visit on December 30, 2025 Our group of 8 had attended Lightscape 2025 at the San Francisco Botanical Garden at 6:45 PM. Some of the group had not had dinner and wanted to go to the Crepevine, which we go to for its savory and sweet crepes, afterwards. We were greeted upon entry and tables were reserved for us while we went to the cashier to order our items. My sister ordered the Santa Fe crepe. I only needed dessert and ordered the Sunset crepe with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella which my family had to have some of. I also wanted a hot chocolate which my husband ordered with soy milk for me. They let me have whipped cream. It had been cold out and we warmed ourselves up with our drinks. The rest of the party had hot apple cider. My daughter had the San Francisco crepe with smoked salmon. Other daughter had the Roma pasta. Husband had some breakfast crepe. The plusses: You order inside, staff was friendly, and there's a good amount of outdoor seating that is dog friendly. The portions are large and the savory crepes come with both salad and homestyle potatoes or fries. They offer gluten free pasta and gluten free crepes. The not-so-good: our food was unusually bland. Both of our dishes had pesto in it, and while my Tuscany crepe had a hint of basil the creamy Abruzzo pasta (grilled chicken added) didn't even taste like anything. My partner had to heavily salt and pepper their pasta. If I came back I would try one of their egg dishes or the sweet crepes. They took that opportunity to tell me they were busy and needed my table. I paid for my food just like everyone else. I hadn't been there for over an hour! That was completely RUDE. Today, we came here for lunch. Both my mother and I had the salmon sandwiches with salad/potatoes and my husband had the New Orleans crab benedict. One of his poached eggs on the benedict was hard and over-cooked so that was a disappointment. My salmon smelled slightly fishy but it helped to add some lemon juice to it. Service was very good. Came at the right time to the Crepevine for Sunday brunch on this sunny day with dad. We placed two orders for yummy piping hot Pacific salmon sandwiches. We have choices: roasted potatoes or fries. We always order the salad with it instead because the sandwich is so satisfyingly scrumptious. Dinner is always light later. I have never been disappointed with the choices on the menu. Unfortunately I decided to order a salad because I was missing Pluto's. For $22 after adding grilled chicken, it was not an amazing salad. The Granada salad has candied walnuts, blue cheese, peppers, pears, and pomegranate dressing. It came with 2 pieces of bread that felt really out of place. Been coming here for years now and it never disappoints. The prices are very reasonable with great portions. Their service is great and friendly. After having a kid I also find this place family friendly as it can get crowded during busy hours/holidays so kids are just a drop in the bucket with everyone else chatting away. Get their clam chowder, it's my favorite in the city! It's very flavorful and comes with loads of clam meat and not just potatoes like alot of places! For mains, I love the El Paso which is their corned beef hash, ask for scrambled eggs so they blend it all together for a great hearty brunch! It's been years...no...decades that I've been eating at Crepevine on Irving. Let's talk about the "Great California Huge Crepes with Potatoes & Salad Joints" explosion of the mid nineties: Ever since my pal Scott first took me on an eye popping brunch visit to Squat in the lower Haight (don't look for it, it's gone now) I've loved those wide plates spilling over with greens, taters and overstuffed crepes that have cheese melted into a brown burned yumminess from their griddle that I never could duplicate, even on the drip pan at the bottom of my toaster oven at home. There were by the early ought's about sixty thousand California Huge Crepe restaurants in San Francisco. No kidding! Maybe even more. Things have thinned out a lot since then. The modern desire for 'Less Food, More Bubble Tea' has taken its toll on the Crepe trade. However this also means the lines to order are shorter and there are seldom fist fights between customers trying to dibs tables. This is a good thing. Note: these California Huge Crepes I'm talking about are nothing like a Crêpe bretonne you'd find at Grande or Chaumiere. It's kind of like the difference between a Mexican burrito and a Tex-Mex one. A positive evolution of Crepevine is their willingness to cater to gluten free eaters not just with crepes but also by offering waffles and pancakes. A recent menu redesign looks like it has even more options. This plays well with my personal evolution requiring me to eat gluten free food. Speaking for the usual getting-glutened dialogue in reviews, try to use your common sense. If you are very sensitive I recommend going there when it's not super busy. If the kitchen's in the weeds, then it's quite possible you won't get something that's celiac-pure, if you catch my drift. My preference is to get breakfast for dinner on a weekday afternoon. About my breakfast: Hot damn that Tuscany crepe is good! I can't seem to get anything else anymore because I'm addicted to that one. Back in the 'olden days' they had rosemary bushes out front and the potatoes had lots of rosemary cooked into them. I kinda miss that. Nowadays I often just sub more salad for the not very interesting potatoes. The pancakes are extra fluffy, dark browned, and kind of remind me of the Pamela's mix I've made at home. I wish the double mocha was bigger for the price, like, served in a pint glass the way some other places do it, but the bottomless coffee certainly does the job on a sleepy day. read more
