I decided to pop by for a light lunch, and the $11.50 Mushroom Melt had my name all over it. It consisted of roasted mushrooms, crème fraiche, onion jam, gruyere, and arugula in a split rosemary English muffin (Photo 8). A bit saucy for me, it was definitely full of mushroom slices and gooey cheesiness. Not quite the flavor bomb I was hoping though the muffin had a nice crisp. The monkey bread was really good, and each nugget of dough was coated with that turmeric-spiced blend. It added a subtle earthiness and kick to each bite. I would have loved a bit more caramelization on the outside, as the crunchy, sugary bits on the bottom were the highlights for me. The biscuit itself is one of the best biscuits I've ever had. It is on the heavier side meant to be indulged every once in a while. I can only imaginr how good this would be over some gravy. If they added it to the menu, that would be amazing. Almond croissant - don't miss out on this! Solid almond croissant! The restroom is available for use, just ask an employee and they will announce when you walk through the bakery for safety measures.
