They're all Harney and Sons teas which are amazing. We ordered four different pots which was nice to share and try new teas. I ordered the chicken sandwich on cheddar scone and it was so so good! A little spice too which was very tasty. Everyone was happy with their meals. The dining room is decorated like a fancy tea house. The china and everything was mismatched which was great. I am SO happy with Florrie Kaye's new location! It's such a beautiful space - separate area for parties and a large outdoor seating in front. Cute bar as well. I attended about a 30 person party here. Having a separate room was great. The staff were so friendly and so kind. There were a few allergens in our group. I am a vegetarian and someone else was gluten-free. I had plenty to eat and there was a separate plate each course brought out for my gluten free neighbor. I would absolutely trust this place enough to bring my celiac boyfriend after how I saw they separated everything! The food was delicious and it was such a great event. This was such an undoubtedly successful venue for a recent get together of three close friends that we have committed to visit Florrie Kaye's Tearoom every other month for a repeat opportunity to explore the menu. We had the tiered afternoon tea for three people and we all brought home leftovers. The highlights for me personally were the scones and the tea sandwiches. I am looking forward to trying their soups, their savory puddings, and their pavlova. I've been coming to Florrie Kay's Tea Room for years, even before they moved to their new location, and it has truly been a special place for me and my mom. Lately, we've been coming weekly or at least biweekly because we genuinely enjoy the atmosphere and the experience. The tea, presentation, and overall charm are lovely, and Jose especially deserves recognition. He is incredibly helpful, a great conversationalist, and one of the hardest workers there. He always makes us feel welcome, and his service is a big reason we continue to come back. We also make it a point to tip well and support the business, including posting and tagging them on social media when we visit. That's why it feels a little disappointing that after all these years of being loyal regulars, we're still charged a $6 sharing fee when my mom and I split a tea tower. I completely understand businesses having policies, but as frequent guests who consistently support the tea room, it does feel a bit hurtful. We truly love coming here and want to continue supporting them. I just hope there might be some consideration for longtime regulars in situations like this. read more

Five stars - not just for the afternoon tea, but for the excellent service. We were asked if anyone in our party had food allergies. I told the manager/host that I have a flaxseed allergy and that I just can't eat multigrain bread. She went above and beyond by calling (I was eavesdropping- so I could be wrong) the bakery and perhaps the owner to check that there wasn't flax in the wheat or white bread that our tea sandwiches were made with. I truly appreciated the concern and diligence that were given to my specific needs. Our afternoon tea was delightful. I'm extremely disappointed with how our baby shower reservation was handled. Cancelling the event last minute due to snow was unacceptable, especially since the snow had stopped early that morning and there was ample time to clear the parking lot. Every other establishment in the area was open. We also had guests traveling from out of state who were already planning to attend. The communication was equally unprofessional. I was left in limbo for an entire day when this could have been addressed sooner. I was told someone would call me Friday night, yet no one reached out until Saturday. On top of that, I received multiple calls questioning guest numbers even though I was clearly and promptly communicating updates as they changed with either you or your staff. Because of the last-minute cancellation, we had to scramble to find another restaurant. Thankfully, another establishment accommodated our group on short notice and provided excellent service -- something we did not experience here. This situation caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience and reflects very poorly on your professionalism and management. I have also read through all the yelp reviews and have noticed when you get a comment that is not favorable you seem to attack that person - thus the reason for the long text message. In response to you below 1. I clearly told your staff and you that this was a baby shower when I called back in November. I shouldn't have to communicate during every conversation that this was a baby shower. You should have it in your notes as a professional. 2. I shouldn't have to tell you where my guests are traveling from when I booked a reservation. Nor did you ask the importance of the event and the consequences of cancelling. 3. You did leave me a voice mail at 9:40 I. The morning asking if I was still planning the event. You also sent a text message to which I responded yes to you. All our guests were still planning on showing up. Not 20 minutes later you responded via text that you were closing the restaurant. However you also called me the night before the event asking me if I was planning on keeping the reservation. I told you yes and you responded that you would get back to me in an hour with you decision to open the restaurant or close. You did not communicate with me until the next day (the day of the event) 4. Yes we had 8 inches of snow which stopped by 8 AM that morning. As we live in the northeast this is not unusual and road crews usually work through the night to keep the roads clear as they did for this snow event. All roads were cleared down to the pavement by 10 AM when I went out. 5. You were not attacked publicly. I expressed my disappointment with your decision to cancel the reservation and the poor communication during the month prior. Instead of taking constructive criticism you take it as an attack on you personally. In order to grow as a business you need to hear the good the bad and the ugly. I also read a review from 12/27/25 where you cancelled a reservation someone had made for their mother's 84th birthday. You told me on numerous occasions that everyone else cancelled except me. This is a true UK tea room in the classic style. The location is very convenient, just off route 22 in the quiet Clock Tower Commons with plenty of free parking. The tea selections are varied and presented loosely in large pots, as they should be, and the tea sandwiches are very traditional but with a little creative flair. We went to brunch on Sunday with 4 adults and 3 children. I have to say the girls were very well behaved. The food was very good. Everything we had was delicious. We put in the big British hats and the girls loved it. The only complaint I had was the staff was very unfriendly. That bothered me when my granddaughters said hello to our server and she could barely say hello. Oh well, i guess she s not into kids. For appetizer we shared one of the tea sandwich towers. The scones were so good! (Pretty sure I would come back just for those). I was the odd one out when I ordered an Arnold Palmer to drink and for my entree ordered the ham and Brie croissant. We have been here many times before and because service along with food is ALWAYS delicious I forget to post. However, yesterday, Easter Sunday, our reservation for 2 was beyond perfect. Service was excellent and the Chef is amazingly gifted with her talents. Thank you Chef! We ordered their brie appetizer and it was delicious served with beautiful small Italian sliced bread and green apple .. simply delicious. Also ordered their asparagus soup AMAZING FLAVORS WOW!!! That came with a delicious cheddar biscuit OUTSTANDING. Also their prime rib was OUTSTANDING. Not to mention the peach bellini. All so beautifully presented. We couldn't eat another thing. However, I did take a piece of cake chocolate icing, some raspberry filing to go. Arriving home we had it with milk and I wished to had gotten 2 pieces of cake to go!!! This restaurant never disappoints. It is wonderful for 2, 4, 8 ground and now they are open on Friday evenings for dinner!!! Cannot wait to go for dinner. Reservations strongly suggested. The tea room was so cute, decorated with beautiful china, plants, frames. We ordered Afternoon Tea and Brunch Tower. It was a bit pricey $36 but it was a good amount of food and definitely worth it for the cute experience. They have an endless variety of tea. I made a reservation on Monday for today for my mom's 84th birthday. It was for 8 people and when I called they informed me if anyone did not show there would be a $25 fee per person which is fine. What is not fine is that when we showed up today, the tea room was closed. When I called their number to see if I missed something, it said due to the weather they had closed. The roads were fine so I had no idea they would be closed. No one called me to let me know they would not be open. This is unprofessional. We will not be trying this tea room in the future. read more

Florrie Kaye's tearoom is such a fun place! We came here today for my birthday and really enjoyed ourselves. The whole place is decorated top to bottom in sort of a "granny chic" vibe. The service was great and quick and they were able to accommodate my allergies even on the prefix afternoon tea platter which was really appreciated. After years of wanting to stop in here, the stars aligned and we were able to have brunch. The inside was cute, bright and decorated with various tea sets and British memorabilia. They have a very wide tea selection to fit any needs and we kept it simple and ordered the Afternoon Tea to get the full experience. The scones were delicious - highly recommend. The tea sandwiches were great but overall the tray was on the sweeter end. After we had ordered we saw some people get towers of just the tea sandwiches and scones on the side - which likely I would do in the future. The baked Brie starter was fantastic and highly recommend. Service was friendly and helpful answering our questions about the menu and providing tea recommendations. If you want to feel like you suddenly transported yourself to England and are casually having afternoon tea time with your girl friends overlooking the London bridge. This is the spot! We put on the hats, took silly pics, ordered tea and a few yummy things. My caffeine detox pushed me to come in here to pick up some loose leaf tea for us and to gift some to a friend. Even though it was already the end of the day right before closing time, we couldn't just walk in here and NOT sit down for afternoon tea. We did just that and my hubby LOVED it. It was 5 o'clock somewhere but with a different approach: decaf tea and scones. Sometimes you have to switch things up a bit. We all love to drink and have a good time but here we did just that. They have over 90 tea selections and they're all Harney & Sons. It's so hard to pick but the girls are so nice here and educate you through the whole process. I was so happy with my decaf choice: indigo tea, IT WAS BLUE!!!!!!!!! So obsessed that I took some home. Being a coffee girl tea doesn't really excite me up until now. This tearoom made my life. The blue tea!!! So so obsessed! The best part, they even had a gluten free scone! (Again, worst time to be on a detox from gluten and caffeine, but it was the right spot to come to!!!). It's the best one I've ever had! If you want to brunch, it's a great spot. If you want to afternoon tea it like we did, come on over. I went to this establishment as I am hugely into tea and very much enjoy trying different flavors. This was my first visit to a tea house, as I usually enjoy my loose leaf tea at home, outside of Asian tea ceremonies. I found the tea selection to be impressive with a lot of options. The food options all sounded delicious as well. Upon receiving my food, I found it to be good and enjoyed the sides being served in a tea cup. The ambiance is nice, albeit a bit stuffy. Where my experience falters is within service. From the beginning of my experience I found the waitress' attitude to be... interesting. While she was not outright rude I found that she was interacting differently when approaching other tables as opposed to my own. Most notably, I found it intriguing that every other guest was offered a stand for their purse except for me, while my bag sat on the floor. Throughout the experience my guest and I felt that we were being looked down upon for some reason, making the atmosphere feel pretentious and strange. There was an air of snootiness that is just not necessary to have in a tea establishment unless I am meeting with the late Queen Elizabeth herself. Hard to describe, though felt strongly enough as to inspire me to create my first review of any restaurant through this platform. I feel I typically don't care enough about these things, but I felt out of place enough for that feeling to stick with me even outside of the establishment. Perhaps we were dressed too casually or the fact that we did not have a reservation an hour after opening was irksome. Though the tea is good, for this reason I will not be returning. Oh my goodness, this was really everything I'd hoped for. I tried to take my mom here for Mother's Day but it was booked up. I tried again for her birthday and was able to make a reservation. My grandma was also in the area so it was even more special. I was told they take reservations a year ahead. When you go inside, you feel like you're really in a little tea room. The tea selection is just marvelous. Everything you can think of. They have lunch items and pastries to choose from. We opted on including the "afternoon tea" for the table as well as a lunch dish and added an additional pot of tea. We were able to make one of the afternoon teas gluten free so I didn't miss out on anything. I really wanted everyone to enjoy the full experience. Of course there were plenty of leftovers.
